Mourning

I'm so sad to find out my furriend Tonka had to be put down today. She was really sick and I'm glad she's not in pain anymore. But I miss her and I know her family and brother Tate miss her terribly.

What I liked about Tonka is that she was older and lazy like me. She was a quiet soul who would help me be a lazier cat. See you at the Bridge some day Tonka, we miss you.

Can't believe it

I feel so much better. It's been 24 hours without me tossing my crunchies. Thank mew again furr all your purrs - I have the best furrriends.

And check this out. To prove that I'm feeling better, I marched into the pawrents' room at 3 am and meowed REALLY loud. The pawrents asked, ?did YOU give him crunchies before we went to bed?" The answer was two no's. Again, I think that's cat abuse. I have to figure out how to call the authorities because that's just not catceptable.

But here's the really good part. I bugged dadcat non-stop and he actually got up and fed me... at 3 AM!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes but I think I officially have these humans trained - MOL.

Thank you all so much for your comments of concern. I feel like my old self again luckily. Thank you also to Muppet (love that name) for the paw. Isn't it amazing how much those paws and thoughts help us feel better?

We truly appreciate your concern. Catster is the best place to have furriends.

Oh! And I feel so much better I was helping Dadcat in the basement tonight. Check out my picture of me in the cooler helping. He wasn't doing anything with the cooler but I thought I would, MOL.

What's the deal?

I don't know what's going on but I can't stop puking. Please note, Diary Gal, I"m not trying to be Diary/Cat of the Day or anything by mentioning bodily functions. So please make another worthy fur the lucky winner, MOL.

Seriously though, I've been puking all over the house the last day or so. Dadcat thinks I may have had a little industrial cleaner by accident but it was only half a tongue lick at most if that's what even happened, since he was there guarding the spot he cleaned. Then he gave me plenty of water to make stuff come up. I seem better now but the pawrents are treating me like a furbaby for some reason.

Well, gotta go sleep it off.

Life of a Snugglebutt

So I have been a class-A snugglebutt for the last few days. I mean any chance I can mark my humans, snuggle up to them and make them say hi to me I take. I think I may have been taking classes from my furriend Tate on how to get the best holiday prezzies. Though I've already gotten my fill with my Trankie Blankie and stocking and stuff.

Life of an I-Hole

So Meowmy set the alarm last night because she had to get up really early. Dadcat happened to wake up 15 minutes before meowmy had to leave so she ran out of the house. The pawrents have since been calling me an I-hole because they think I stepped on the alarm clock and turned it off - MOL. But neither one of them can remember so there's no proof! See pawrents, I'm innocent - MOL.

What? No Thanksgiving?!?

That's right, I was not brought along to Thanksgiving. Pfft! Actually, I had a great time at home by myself. I got plenty of food before the pawrents left and a quiet house. That's fine by me!

They did forget the leftovers though so I got no turkey. That's my only gripe.

Meowmy said Grandmaw was appalled that I was left home at the last minute. But the pawrents said I might go to Grandmaw's for an extra week *WHAT?!??* so it would be okay.

Hope all your furs in Catsterland are doing well. Oh! I got my holiday stocking in the mail today from Cat in the Clover and guess what?!? There were prezzies in the stocking already! How about that?!? I was so excited I licked the catnip right away. I'll take pictures this week some time to show you but it was furry cool.

I'm Thankful... Twice!

I'm such a bad kitty, MOL! This morning dadcat got up super early and fed me. He told a sleeping Meowmy three times that he fed me but I guess she didn't hear.

She came downstairs hours later and asked me "Ivan, did dadcat feed you? I can't remember what he said"

My answer was "Meow!" and I trotted over to my dish. So then Meowmy thought I hadn't been fed and get this - I got fed TWICE!!!!

I was so excited I'm still doing my happy dance. And the pawrents say I look fat from eating so much but I don't care.

So as I ponder what I'm thankful for on Thanksgiving, my two breakfasts and all my Catster buddies sure come to mind. You furs make Catster a great, fun place to be.
