Who's a Sissy?????

Well today several of us got to goes outside in the cat cage.
This morning after the grass dried off Grammy took Tater Tot and Harley Outside. A little later she came in and gots me too.
This year we gots a bigger kennel. It's was a dog's kennel...and it's a used one but it's a great one. It's more than double our old one. We have our old tree house in it....our old bench and our hide and potty....and our old corner tower. Plus our planter of cat nip!!!!!! Now we have a old step ladder Pappy fixed for us and Grammy and Pappy each have a lawn chair to sit on. It's great! I almost forgots... in the middle of it's an old tree Pappy cut and Grammy said to leave up so we have something to scratch on. Grammy even gots the umbrella so we can have some shade. But I am scared of it. I mean I freaked out! It took about 10 mintues before I gots calmed down and than really enjoyed myself.
After a few hours the sun moved and we were running out of shade so Grammy made us go in. Nobody wanted to go in .... we wanted to walk around the yard.....but they made us go in. It's hard to get in the door .... when others are waiting their turns to come out. But Grammy told them they would have to wait till evening. After dinner Zeeke, Cleo, and Tommy gots to go out. Boy was I upset....I thought sure I was going back out. But Grammy said something about we have to take turns....and if we can't behave we can't go again. I said What Ever!!!!!

It's Here 2012!

Today is the start of another year.
We sure hope everyone has a Healthy, Happy New Year in 2012.
We are having a great day. Must be something in the air.
Most of us have the zoomies today!
Pappy & Meowmy have been watching football all day, so we are
zooming up and down the hall. Every now and than, there's a HISS or two. What fun we are having.
Well gotta go.....it's time to eat!

We got mail again today!

Yep! We gots more mail today and a package from UPS!
We just love it when stuffs comes for us!
We have been enjoying our Christmas Cards our friends have been sending and really appericate them. We love you all!
Today when Grammy and Meowmy came home there was a package from UPS for us. Meowmy knew what it was...it was for us. We gots a shippment of Merrick Before Grain Salmon and some other stuffs. Oh, were we excited or what! Kibbles claimed the box! and the rest of us waited for the bag to be opened and gets a taste.
Than when pappy came home and gots the mail...we had a envelope with our names on it. Our good friend Pigeon send us some toys and a stretchy thing on a stick, and a great new toy we nevers had before. It's a braided circle with a feather on it.
What a great day!

Well gots to go ..... Meowmy is fixing our evening dinner plates. Don't want to miss mine. You know if your not there ...someone else will eat it!!!!!!

HAPPY DAY!

Hi Everyone!
It's a beautiful day in Maryland!
It's almost 70!
The day started with some fog, but nice temps. It cleared off and gots clear. We have a beautiful view of the mountains. Even though most of the leaves have turned brown there are still a few with color and it's just beautiful! Wish you all could see them and the mountains in the distance. Looks just like a postcard.
When we gots our breakfast it was warm enough for
Grammy to open one window.
We quickly took turns being in the window and getting some fresh air.
Just before Lunch Grammy opened the door to the porch. We rushed out the door and got in the windows to soak up some of that nice warm sun.
Grammy went outside to check on her gold fish in the pond and feed them. This summer we had baby goldfishes. So our fish pond has about 15 fishes in it, plus two froggies.
We even have one day Lily that has been blooming, and some lavender that is in flower again. We know they won't last much longer, cause we will be getting more frost.
This has been a great day! We even gots some fresh catnip! Yum! I gots the zoomies!!!!! I didn't even care that Grammy gots the Vacuum out and used it. I just keep zooming up and down the hall...in and out of the porch....peeking around the doors for Grammy. Yep! I gots the Zoomies! Do you think it was the Nip?
Well it's been a great day here in Maryland.
Hope we have a few more left...but the weatherperson says things are about to change. So gonna just enjoy what we have today and see what tomorrow brings.

BAD WEATHER

BOY IT WAS SCAREY LAST EVENING, BUT EVERYTHING IS FINE FOR NOW.
IT WAS A HHH (HAZEY, HOT, AND HUMID DAY) HERE ON MONDAY. SO IN THE EVENING A BAND OF THUNDER STORMS FORMED FROM PA TO VA. WE WERE LUCKY WE ONLY GOT THE EDGE OF IT IN OUR AREA. HOWEVER IT WAS REALLY SCAREY. THE SKY GOT A FUNNY COLOR, THE RAIN CAME DOWN IN SHEETS, AND THE WIND WAS BLOWING. THE LIGHTENING WAS STREAKING TOO. THE FAMILY WAS IN THE HALLWAY, BUT COULD SEE OUT ONE WINDOW IN ANOTHER ROOM. MAN THE TREES WERE BLOWING SO HARD IT LOOKED LIKE THE LIMBS WERE TOUCHING THE GROUND AT TIMES. SOME OF US WENT AND HIDE, OTHERS STAYED IN THE HALLWAY WITH GRAMMY AND THE FAMILY. THAN WE LOST OUR ELECTRIC. NO LIGHTS, NO AIR. STILL RAINING AND COULDN'T OPEN THE WINDOWS. IT WAS GETTING WARM IN THE HOUSE. THAN THINGS STARTED TO LIGHTEN UP, THE RAIN STOPPED. WE COULD OPEN THE WINDOWS AND THE DOORS. WE ALL GOT INTO THE WINDOWS AND SMELLED THE FRESH AIR. THINGS WERE COOLING DOWN. IT REALLY GOT PLEASANT. GRAMMY AND THE FAMILY WHEN OUTSIDE TO SIDE FOR AWHILE. THEY DIDN'T TAKE ANY OF US OUT. WHAT A BUMMER!!!!!! THEY SAID WE WERE LUCKY SO FAR! TOWARDS TOWN YOU COULD SEE THEY WERE STILL GETTING IT. THE SKY WAS SO DARK, THAN THEY SAW MORE LIGHTENING IN THE DISTANCE, SO THEY ALL CAME BACK INSIDE. YES WE WERE LUCKY, CAUSE THAT STORM NEVER CAME OUR WAY. ABOUT 2 HOURS LATER OUR ELECTRIC CAME BACK ON AND THINGS WERE NORMAL AGAIN.
WE GOT TO WATCH THE TV INSTEAD OF LISTENING TO THE RADIO.

HEY KRINGLE.....IF YOUR READING THIS.....HOW WAS IT OVER IN YOUR NECK OF THE COUNTY?

WELL TODAY IS ANOTHER DAY AND IT'S ALREADY STARTING OUT HHH AGAIN. THEY SAY WE MAY GET TO 100 TODAY! SURE HOPE NOT. THEY ARE ALSO CALLING FOR CHANGE OF MORE THUNDER STORMS. HOPE NOT!

WERE EVER YOU ARE PLEASE HAVE A GREAT DAY AND BE SAFE.

OH ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THINGS. MEOWMY WAS IN THE DAYLILLY GARDEN YESTERDAY AND TOLD GRAMMY WE HAVE ANOTHER VISITOR. IT WAS DOWN NEAR THE FISH POND AND CRAWLING THROUGH THE FENCE TOWARDS THE POND AND THE ONE FLOWER BED. CAN YOU GUESS WHAT IT WAS??????? GRAMMY DID!!!!! YEAP! IT WAS A SNAKE!!!!! GRAMMY IS SCARED OF SNAKES, SHE SAID, SHE DON'T WANT TO KILL THEM, SHE JUST WANTS THEM TO STAY IN THE FIELD ON THERE SIDE OF THE FENCE. MEOWMY TOLD HERE IT WAS A GARDNER SNAKE AND IT WAS A LONG ONE.......SHE WOULD HAVE MOVED IT, BUT SHE COULDN'T GET TO IT. SO NOW GRAMMY IS LOOKING EVERYWHERE WHEN SHE GOES OUTSIDE. GUESS SHE'LL RUN THE OTHER WAY IF THEY MEET!

HAPPY MOTHERS, GRAMMY, MEOWMIES DAY

Today is a beautiful day here in Maryland. The Weather is sunny, in the 60s so far and a bite of a breeze.
Today is Mothers Day. That means we cats will celebrate our Meowmy and Grammy. Things are starting out right. Meowmy feed us and we were good. Than we loved all over her. Next was Grammy. We let her sleep in. However a few of us did get in bed and tell her how much we love her. When she got up, we were all over her. We are giving her lots of rubs against her legs, head bonks, and being her shadows. We are just full of Love for our Meowmy and Grammy. Meowmy had to go to work, so we gave her kisses when she left. I'm not sure how the rest of the day will go, but we do plan on being good today. Hope you all remember your Moms today and are treating them with lots of love too!

It's official

It's official...it was a tornado! Granted it was only a EFO. Which means it was the lowest level tornado. Well let me tell you all, I hope to never see another one. I can't imagine a strong one.
It was closer than we thought too. It was only 1/4 mile from our house. In fact if the woods was not there we would be able to see the house it did hit. Way to close for comfort!

We send our purrs and prayers to the states that got hit really hard, and to the families who lost some much. Boy this is crazy weather everywhere!

Was it a Tornado or Very High Winds!

Yesterday was a very gloomy day here. We had no birdie show, no other TV, no lights, no puters, no electric. We had been without electric since early Saturday night.
Let's me tell our story! It had been rainy Saturday...than it clear off....than Grammy was working on the puters and ask Meowmy if she was getting a bath. Meowmy said later...Grammy said look at the darkness coming over the mountains. So Meowmy hurried up for her bath so Grammy could get hers. Well the sky gots dark grey and the rain started again. Within a few minutes the lights flickered so Grammy gots off the puter. Than all of a sudden the winds, darkness, and hard pounding rain came. It was really scary....use cats went running. Than no lights. Pappy heard the emergency vehicles from a distance....but they were getting closer. After a while we noticed lots of traffic coming back our road. This usually happens when there's a bad accident and they have to shut the main road down. Well this traffic kept coming all night long...so we knew it was more than just a accident. We didn't even have phone service. Sunday morning came and still lots of traffic. Pappy and Meowmy went out a gots stuff to eat for lunch and said the road was still shut down. They couldn't see anything. Well it was about 21 hours before we got electric...but it wasn't till 9am till the main road was opened. They were busy cleaning up the mess mother nature made.
They said Carroll County had 4 possible tornadoes. Only 1 has been confirmed...that was 10 miles from our house. We are waiting to hear if our was a tornado or just very high winds. They said they should know by tomorrow. We don't want to ever go through that again. Too Scary! Everyone is safe!

April 1st

I'm the April 2011 Cat of the Month in the Group PDPC! What an honor! This is a fun group! We take trips, play games, everyday someone is a Royal Cat or Dog of the Day!, We meet lots of friends too. Today is Rainbow Bridge Angel Day. Go by and remember all the Angels.
Well we had more snow overnight! I think this is an April Fools joke! Now put away the snow and let us all have our Spring!

It's snowing again here in Maryland.
What's wrong with this picture?
It's suppose to be Spring!
Now the Flowers are hiding under snow covered leaves and petals.
The trees are white again....and where did the green grass go?
It's all white.
It's beginning to look like Christmas again!
Is not, the Easter Bunny suppose to hop down the bunny trail soon?
If it keeps snowing he will need a sleigh too!
