Pawty, pawty, pawty....!!!!

Hey, I'm invited to a pawty to celebration Odie and Bear's kitty-love! It's this weekend and I'm going and I invited Rupy to go with me and I'm just SO EXCITED!!!
Mommy is going to make a special outfit for me and oh, I hope that Rupy can go with me! I've been so lonely 'cos he and his Meowmy are busy and can't meow with me and my Mommy very often. THIS WILL BE SO FUN!!!!! PUUUURRRRRRRR....

My Furriend Squirrel...A New Video!

I was pawmailing my furriend Squirrel and she told me that she and her sisfur, Lucky would be putting a new video on Squirrel's page called "A Day In The Life Of A Cat Named Squirrel". Of course, I immediately told her how much I was looking forward to it (Squirrel's Mommy makes GREAT video's!). She pmailed me back that it was JUST published to YouTube and gave me the link! Mommy and I scurried right to it and were the FIRST to see this video! What a wonderful honor my furriend Squirrel gave us! It's a super video of her and Lucky looking at birdies out a big window. It's got a mousie that they were chasing jumping around like an Olympic gymnast. There is a part where Squirrel goes outside on her harness to roll in the sun and eat grass. I sure wish I lived close enough to them to go over and play! Or they could come to my house...I would let THEM in, although I don't like letting OTHER kitties in my place! We could chase mousies together, the Mousie Chasing Threesome! MOL...all tabbies and all girls! I'd love to watch their birdies. We don't have those types of birdies here in N. Illinois. I mostly watch grackles, crows, robins, cardinals and blue jays. Oh, finches too...they are the most fun 'cos they are so quick and small. Our mousies look alike though...greasy little creatures they are! I'm a great mouser and Squirrel and Lucky would be fun to go mousing with.

I have a TWIN!

Hey efurryone....I have a twin kitty! Her name is Mouse and she is in my group "Hey, You Look Like Me!". That group is SO fun and full of wonderful and furriendly kitties. She REALLY likes like me, too! Her new sisfur, Purr is colored like MY sisfur, Whisper. Isn't that NEAT? Mommy is SO excited and pleased! (Humans are easy to please, aren't they? MOL...)
My brofur, Riley has a twin also...his name is Fido and his picture is on Riley's page. They pawmail back and forth and just love each other's adventures. Maybe Mouse and I can do that...MOM!....type for me!!!!!!

MOUSIES!

I had SO much fun Friday! We had a supercell event here in Northern Illinois and Mommy put us into the storm shelter under the ground so that we would be safe while she watched the storm (Momma's a storm chaser at heart!).
There are MOUSIES in the shelter and I got TWO of them! (All by myself, of course...those other kitties I live with just watched me.) They were HARD to catch, running up and down the walls and along the shelving where our canned kitty food is kept. They even ran up the sides of the fresh water bottles that we keep for emergencies! Those little buggers can really move!
Anyway, my expertise kept me in the mousing game...I KNOW where they are moving to and I am THERE when they get there! Their little mousie faces are SO surprised when they see me and then BOOM!.....my immaculate white paw is upon them! MOL....I clean up REALLY good after I catch mousies. My sisfur, Flower wanted to catch a mousies, but I was too quick. (She's really OLD...15 years.) I am only a youngster according to her and she tried to tell me how to catch mousies.....I showed her the young cat's way, though! Mommy's is SO pleased with me. We ALL got treats for my mousing abilities....good thing I'm a generous kitty!

Warmer weather is BESTEST!

It's so nice and warm now....70 degrees is predicted today! I can hunt mousies and lie in the sun. Maybe I will get the urge to run up a tree...then Mommy can stand underneath and coach me down....MOL....
I'm getting LOTS of attention from people other than Mommy and Daddy lately. My human brother, Eddie and his wife, Stephie are here from California and we had a birthday party for Eddie on Friday night. We grilled pork chops and cheddar brats and Italian sausages. Mommy made her famous Cajun sweet potatoes and brown sugar sweeties. Efurryone was drinking good wine and having a wonderful time! I got head rubs and chin scratches and was held almost ALL the time. My purr-box got a little hoarse...MOL...
Today is Eddie's actual birthday and my pawrents are going to a SURPRISE party tonight at his friend, Holland and Reid's house. We have a musical birthday card for him because he is a musical engineer out in CA. It's a blues musician singing Happy Birthday! Really neat....
I'm a happy kitty exept for one thing....I miss meowing with my boyfurriend, Rupert (aka Rupy). His brofur, Norman (Normy) seems to have taken over the keyboard of his Meowmy's computer. Now Rupy can't meow with me or pmail me or anything. At least I can look at his sweet face, even though his page is messed up and won't allow me to click on his pmail link. I've meowed through Normy and their sisfur, Rosie to say "Purrs" to Rupy...I guess that will have to do until he can get minute at the keyboard.
Time to brighten Mommy's day and beg to be picked up! Happy Sunday to all...

Catster is the BESTEST place to be!

Mommy and I would like to take the time to say that joining Catster has been such a great step in our lives. All of our new furriends and our wonderful groups have all been supportive, friendly and FUN. Mommy has had some major stress this past year and really appreciates the fun approach our Catster kitties have to this site. To feel better, all Momma has to do is sign in and look at beautiful and handsome kitties and read pawmail to feel settled and happy again.
We don't show our inner feelings well in purrson and having our Catster family is so very important to us that we don't even have the words (or meows) to say!
Thank you SO much Catster and everykitty for adding the richest source of peace and contentment anyfur could have!

OMC! I'm a Daily Diary Pick Today! MEW-MEW-MEOW!

I am so honored to be a Catster Diary Pick Of The Day kitty! I thank Catster HQ, my Mommy and Daddy, my brofurs and sisfurs (even Teddy!) and all the "little kitties"...I will do my best to uphold the Catster honor and write in my diary more often. (Since the weather has been so warm and sunny, I spend alot of time rolling in the sun and hunting mousies.) Mommy is at work, Grandpa's house or outside working in the yard, so my typist has been busy, too. Too bad Apollo, my brofur doesn't know how to type. He's a polydactyl kitty and has the opposable thumbs to do it. He probably wouldn't type for me anyway....he's kinda uppity that way. He likes to think HE rules this house...MOL...I know better!

I can't reach my Rupy-Roo!

MEOW! Rupy's Pet Page is not showing me the pawmail link to pmail him about his wonderful gift of a furrever star! I'm very upset that I can't send my love and head-butts to him with my thank you! MEOW! Oh, what can I do???
Mommy, can we find Rupy online??? MEOW! Mommy says Rupy is not online right now! I don't know what to do!!! MEOW!
I LOVE my furrever star and I LOVE MY RUPY! This makes me really nervous....MOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMYYYYY!!!!!

Blue today...

Yesterday, we had warm sun in the morning and I rolled and rolled in it! In the afternoon, the temperature dropped fast and clouds came and thunderboomers started. I hid in the cupboard! Today is going to be COLD again....I'm not a happy kitty. Momma has to go to work today and Daddy is going to work on Grandpa's house. I think I'll just get into my kittycup and sleep until Mommy comes home...don't feel like playing. Even my sisfur, Flower is grumpy today....she just growls at me. :-(
