Zack went to the Rainbow Bridge today.

Today with a heavy heart, we sadly had to say an earthly goodbye to a very dear and very sweet and very brave furiend named Zack. We have just learned about Zack as our pawrents had to go out of town for a wedding vow renewal ceremony for furiends and we could not get on the catputer. The first thing our meowmy did was check Catster where we learned that our very brave friend had lost his battle with cancer. He passed peacefully at home, in the arms of his meowmy. Zack, know that you will always live in our hearts and you have joined the special cats we hold in our hearts as heroes. You gave your furmily so much love and received the same from them. We don't know what to say except that our hearts feel like they have broken into pieces and we will always love you. We will look to the heavens nightly to see your special star shining brightly, dear and brave friend.

Well, so much for being furiendly and nice to my meowmy! I was in the bathroom this morning helping my meowmy. I was rubbing all against her and trying to coerce her into giving me a little more food for the morning. It was about 11 AM EST. Suddenly, she swooped down and picked me up and I went into my normal panic. I am furry sweet and furry loving but I like to do it totally on my terms. Meowmy carried me into the living room....... OH NO! The next thing I knew she put me into the prison carrier. I began to cry pitifully. Meowmy said such deep groans and moans. Then, she left me alone in there in the prison cage. Purrty soon, she came back with Mojo in her arms. She tried to put Mojo into the prison carrier but Mojo was having NO part of assisting Meowmy. Mojo became all arms and legs. Meowmy had to turn the prison carrier on end and shove Mojo into it head first and then she slammed the door. Boy, I am glad my entry into the prison carrier was not so extreme. Mojo began to do her cute little squeaks of disapproval. Meowmy took both of us out to the car and off to the doc doc we headed. Meowmy told us that we were just going for our Rabies shots. I DON'T want to be shot!!!!!! Please Meowmy, I will be good!

When we arrived, Mary, the receptionist, informed Meowmy that both of us would need our physicals too. YIKES and NOOOOOOOOO. I was weighed first. I weighed 10.5 pounds. The doc doc poked and prodded on me. She did inform my meowmy that I have tartar buildup on some of my teeth and they will need to clean them sometime in the future after we get Hooch through his issues. Mine is not critical but we do need to clean the teeth before next year. The doc doc jammed a needle in my rear... OUCH.... and then she tried to drown me with something she put in my nose. Cough, cough, sputter, sputter! That was not funny.

Mojo was next in line and got the same treatment. What is it with these humans who like to torture us? Hooch told us after we got back home that we should count out lucky stars that the vampires weren't after us this time.

We had been home about 1/2 hour or so and my meowmy heard a noise like one of us throwing up. She was in the catputer room trying to get caught up. The first thing she was was me sitting near 4 piles of throw up. She looked at it and, since she saw dark hair in it, she thought that maybe I had thrown up because of the hair... and because I was beside it. She cleaned up the piles and went back into the catputer room. Mojo followed her into the catputer room. The nexe thing my meowmy knew Mojo was throwing up. This was mostly fluid. She threw up three times. Meowmy immediately called the doc doc back and was told to bring both of us back in... just in case both of us had possibly had a reaction to the Rabies shots. I have never had a problem but Mojo did some years ago.

Meowmy loaded both of us back into the prison carriers and headed back to the doc doc's. They came in immediately and gave both Mojo and me a Benadryl injection to help prevent reactions to the Rabies injection. We are NOT really sure I was involved but, to be on the safe side, they decided to go ahead and treat me, too.

The doc doc said she definitely wanted to keep Mojo for observation for a few hours this afternoon to keep check on her. They decided that I would have to be observed, too. I tell you, this is not fair at all. All I want is my Kujo because I adore her.

Oh, I am pawing from the doc doc's right now because I am still being observed but they are not busy so Mary allowed me to paw the latest to all of you. Mojo will write in her diary when she and I come home.

I tell you, no more trusting Meowmy... well, not for a long time.

A DDP? Me? And with Hooch?

Well, I just can't believe my little kitty eyes. I am one of today's DDP honorees! Thank you, thank you, Catster HQ and Diary Gal. And I am happy to be an honoree with my big brofur Hooch. We are going to have such a special day..... celebrating the day away, I suspect. My concats to my big brofur.

Boogers sent me a brusselball. He said, "I don't like Brussels, plain and simple (They're too healthy) but you get it! Why? 'cause you're a DDP today along with Hooch! Concats cutie!" Brusselball anyfur?

Now, I do hope that my dad's aim is on target. MOL!

More sad news today about a sweet furiend.

We have just learned that our furiend Tiskers has been diagnosed today with HCM (Cardiomyopathy). We are in such shock. Tiskers' meowmy noticed he was breathing faster than normal and took him to the doc doc this morning about 11 to be checked out. The doc doc did blood work and x-rayed Tiskers. The x-rays revealed that there was fluid surrounding his lungs and sent Tiskers to a cardiologist where it was determined that Tiskers has Cardiomyopathy. Tiskers is the littermate (full blood brother) of Mittens and Biscotti and the half brother of Snowmitts. Please keep Tiskers and his furmily, especially his meowmy and daddy in your purrs and purr that Tiskers will feel better with his medicines and have many more years with us. Our hearts are hurting with our furiends and we are praying for the furmily.

We received some very sad news about a family member of one of our closest and longest family of furiends on Catster. Harvey went to the Rainbow Bridge today. We are all in shock. Our hearts go out to Harvey's sweet family and especially to his grieving meowmy. Please stop by and give your love and support to this very special family.

My sisfur Kujo and Moozer eloped last night.

Last night, my sisfur Kujo and her fiance Moozer eloped to a special and private island. They will be honeymooning on the island and will be enjoying each other and their new life and the love that they share. Their wedding was private... just the two of them, no furiends or furmily were there. Their wedding was posted *here*. I want to wish my sisfur and Moozer a lifetime of love, joy and good health.

Lots of furiends are celebrating birthdays today.

Today, we have celebrated the birthdays of many furiends. Jarvis (Sunflower's fiance), Hazel Lucy, Sofie, Quinn, Little Bit, Fela Kiti, Nina, Kaci Sunshine, Cleopatra Grace, Camille Rose, Foucault aka FC, Kahless, PJ, Fozzy Bear and Angels who will be celebrating their birth anniversaries at the Bridge Kashmere, Baby, Kinsey and Tigger and for the 20th anniversary of the day Angel Alaidh adopted her meowmy Sharon. Some are sadly at the Bridge now. We remember them all and say a Happy Birthday to all our furiends who are celebrating today. I hope I did not miss any furiends who celebrated their birthday today. If I did, please let me know.

Our sweet new furiend went to Rainbow Bridge today.

I just learned that a sweet new furiend named Tigger went to the Rainbow Bridge this morning. She had been sick for a while and it was thought that she might have FIP. It turns out that she did. She lived life to the fullest until today. Sweet Tigger, we were just getting to know you and now you are at the Bridge. Our tears have fallen down our cheeks and we have a big lump in our throats. We are so sorry you had to leave us too soon. We will look to the heavens tonight to see your new star shining brightly, sweet new angel. Know that in our short time of knowing you that we grew to love you so... and love never dies.
