I turned 4 today!!

I have been quiet in my diary lately. Things have been hectic for a while and there is not end in sight. So I am taking the opportunity to write tonight.

The 3 Amigos, The Pawsitive Pawsee and The Black Cat Irish Pub joined together to have a Birthday Party for me. Smokey Bowers and his lovely family, with his wife Flora, planned the party. There were many nice gifts.

The cakes were wonderful and the music was the BEST (fifties style)!! I had a wonderful time dancing. I met a sweet fur named Ralph. We danced and he asked if he could walk me home. We walked along the beach on the way. It was very nice and so was Ralph.
Oh, did I tell you about the fireworks!! Smokey put off fireworks too!! Wonderful!!

I just saw that I was voted the 3 Amigos Kitty of the Week!! I'm very touched and excited!!

Many thanks to everyone who helped me celebrate my Birthday. I will be sending out thank yous very soon.

I do not wear a collar.

The Goodlife Recipe and/or Purina Cat Chow.

Yes I do!! His name is Sergei and he is a Handsome Russian Blue!!

Sometimes chicken or ham cut up.

Grasshoppers, moles, or even a bunny now and then. I also love to smack the ball around the scratcher!!

May 1, I will be 4 next year.

Whenever I want to. We have bowls available at all times.

I like using pink and purple for my pictures.

Today is my Birthday

I turned 3 today and it has already been a wonderful day, and it's not even noon yet!!
My Sweetheart Sergei wrote a poem for me. It's so beautiful. He said I could share it:

For my snowflake &hearts

I remember the light
That guided me to you.

When i first hugged you.

Valentine's Day

I have a Valentine and his name is Sergei. He is a handsome Russian Blue. He is very sweet and has a poetic way about him.

We have matching profile pictures, I think that is nice. Sergei is my first Valentine and I am enjoying the attention.

He's been under the weather for a few days, I am purrring that he feels better soon.

I've Been Tagged by Jake

I've been tagged by one of my Wheel of Furtune Buddies.

I have to list 7 things I am grateful for and 7 fun facts about me then tag 7 furs to do the same.

Things I am grateful for:

1. My home. I was about 3 months old when I showed up here, no one knows if I was on my own or dropped off.

2. A large fur family. Makes it harder to get in trouble when there are so many who could have done it!!!

3. Food and treats. I even like getting some of Boss's leftover food before Bear gets to it.

4. Room to roam. I enjoy the fields, the creek and the trees.

5. My health. I have two wonderful vets and they take great care of all of us.

6. Mom's lap while she is on the computer.

7. Grasshoppers. Keeps the summer fun (especially watching mom trying to catch and release those that can be rescued).

7 Fun Facts about Me:

1. I have an extra digit on both rear paws and my front paws are mittened. My thumbs are the same length as my 4 toes and makes me look like I am ready to play catch.

2. I am a caliby: a calico/tabby mix. There are 6 other tabbies here, but I am the only one with calico colors to boot!!!

3. I take pride in my appearance. Mom doesn't have to clean briers off of me like she does some of the others.

4. I catch grasshoppers almost daily during the late summer days. Most end up in the kitchen!!!

5. When I came to my home, I was about 3 months old. There were two 2-month old kittens, and two 1-month old kittens. When the last ones came inside, after being weaned, with the rest of us, I would clean them and lay with them.

6. I am fur of the month at The Doghouse (The Best Little Doghouse in Dogster) for November. What an Honor and Surprise. WOW!!!

7. I will go to the answering machine and get as close as I can if it is Dad who has left the message. I enjoy talking with him on the phone.

A Good Day

I talked to dad on the phone today. Well actually he did the talking, I listened and rubbed the phone. I am the only one who gets excited when dad calls and leaves messages on the machine. I will run up to the machine, when mommie listens to it, and I hear dad's voice.
Tonight he was talking to mommie and I jumped up on her lap to see who she was talking to. I got to listen to dad, he asked me what I had been up too. I just rub the phone and purr, he can't hear my purring on the phone, I might have to work on that. That made for a nice evening.

1. What is your favorite olympic sport? Grasshopper catching. Hey, I've become really good at this lately. I am bringing one in a day.

2. What do you prefer summer or winter? Summer, because I enjoy sleeping on the deck and it can be too cold during the winter.

3. What's the quirkest thing you do? This is new, but I am becoming a cat massager (for mommie right now). Last night she was on her back, and I gave her a really nice massage, she says I hit the right spots. She thinks my mitten paws helped. I might be going into business, we'll see.

4. Do you have a crush on any other kittens? No, I'm too bashful.

5. What's your favorite rosette and why? I'd say the rose. They are so sweet and beautiful.
