June 12th No a good day

I not feeling well. I do not know what is wrong, but I just do not feel well. I threw up a couple of time, but I am still hungry. I am glad it is to hot for the stupid dog to go run as Linda is not running with her. Linda can stay home this morning and take care of Sophie. I am going to rest so I feel better tomorrow

June 10th

Well, it is day 2 of my diet. I must say I have done pretty good. I most of lost a least 1/2 of pound. I have cut back on my snacks and have done more exercising. It is hard to get it all done with my busy schedule, but I am able to work in all I have to do. I get pretty tired, and I think I will have to add some more nap time in. I do not know what I give up to get that extra nap in, but I am sure I will be able to find some time. I looked at myself in the mirror, and boy I not only look cute, but my fur was a bit baggy, that how I know I lost some weight. I bet by the end of the week I will have won the contest. I am very determined to win. Oh by the way the dog looks like she gained a couple of pounds. What a ding bat not taking this contest seriously.
I am going to win and she will lose. Well, got to get some exercise in before dinner

June 9th the diet starts

Well we all knew it was coming. I heard my family talking about, and one of my human sisters is always telling me I am fat, and need a diet.
I personally think I look fine. Yes I have a big tummy, but I am a big cat. Well, I have cut down on my eatting which is hard to do with all the good cat treats in the house. I had only 1 breakfast, and I have been exercising a little more. I am sure I will lose my weight soon, then no one can complain. Sophie is not on a diet as she is skinny.

June 8th 2008 My poor sister Sophie

Hi
I am worried about my fur sister Sophie. She is just recovering from major surgery, I helped get her better. We were worried the vet did not get all the cancer, but by her behavior you can tell she is feeling fine. The vet comfirmed he thinks it is all gone, but you never know. Why I worried is she is so stressed out about the neighbor dogs coming over to play with Abbey (stupid family dog). I do not like it, but I try to not let it get to me like it gets to Sophie. Yesterday she was so upset her little tummy got upset. I do not understand why my family is so careless, and lets the neighbor dogs come over, they could just send Abbey to the neighbors. Hey now that is a good idea, and it would bring peace to me and Sophie. Maybe Abbey would forget to come home (just wishful thinking). Anyway I hope my family understands how much little Sophie is upset and will not let this happen again. Lets hope Sophie feels better soon.

Well it has been a very good week for Lucy. Obama got the democratic nomiation. The weather has not been to hot. on the flip side, my stupid human sister has me in the greatest weight off contests. What a dumb idea. If I win I am buying me some stuff and my momma stuff. I will win too, no one thinks I will win but I will!!! There was a strange man in our house checking out the furness, Lucy did not like that. The stupid dumb dog in the family barked so much she woke me up from my nap, she was so loud and noisy she proberly woke all the cats up from their naps! Well gotta go find out what momma is doing and then go finish my nap-hope the idiot keeps her trap shut and does not wake me up again with all that non- useless barking!

June 3rd

Today is the best day a cat can have, especially a cat who is concerned about the world, and current events. My candidate Barack Obama has gotten the democratic nomination. I wish I could purr as today is a day to spend purring. Sophie, momma and I will have a small party, as Abbey (thankfully) will be at rally obedience class. It is a historic day for the human world. Go Obama

June 2nd Momma has head screwed on right today

Hi
I am the most happy cat in the whole world. I could not be happier. No dogs came over today. Both Sophie and I watched out the back door, and no dogs came over (yeah). I guess momma got her head screwed on, and realized it was not a good idea to have so many dogs come over to play. Dogs are sticky and a lot of work. Momma needs to spend her time with me.
Tomorrow is another election here in California. We vote for all elected officials except for president which we voted for in Feb. I hope all my candidates win tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be another good day for Senator Obama he is expected to win in Montana and South Dakota. Go Obama.

June 1, 2008 no rest for us cats

I thought Sunday's we suppose to be a day of rest. However, it rarely happens here. Today was no exemption, and I had to deal with problems that occured in my back yard. After I did all my cat work, patrol the yard, help my humans, and all other needed cat work I was going to take a short nap as my asthma was bothering me. However, just as I got settled down in my little chair in my room Sophie came in and told me we had invaders in the backyard. I thought it might be birds, bugs, and if I was lucky a mouse. I ran out to look out the back door, and what did I see. I saw two strange dogs playing with one of my humans. What in the world was going on. Then I saw Abbey was out playing with them, and I got mad. Sophie and I are nice enough to let her live here with us, and now we have to deal with her friends coming over to play. We send her to the dog park so she won't bring friends over to play, or want another dog to live with her. This is not fair, we were not even consulted. I thought momma did not know, but I saw her out playing with the dogs. What is wrong with Momma. I think she is losing her mind. Maybe she has mad cow disease, or the doctor did something to her brain when she had surgery. Momma is going to get a ear full tonight.

May 31st A fight between two cats

Hi
Last night Sophie and I had a fight. I was so mad at her. Last night she decided she wanted to sleep in the chair in our room. Why I do not know. She always sleeps in bed with our human sister Linda. However, last night she was in my chair. I jumped in chair and started hissing and hitting her, of course she did the same. Eventually, Linda woke up and she took Sophie into her bed, and I got the chair. I had a good talk with her today, and explained the chair is mine, and not hers. I hope she learned her lesson. Just cause she had cancer is no excusse to still from another cat.
