Lots of People!

My mom and dad had lots of people over this weekend! No, not for the Big Game, but just in and out.

On Saturday night, mom & dad's friend came over to visit for awhile. She's a kitty person so I didn't bolt under the bed immediately. She wanted really badly to love on me, but I wasn't having it. Hey, I stayed in the same room with her... what else does she expect?

Sunday afternoon, one of the kiddo's friends came over to visit. She was a little freaked out by me since she doesn't have a cat, but mom taught her the String Game and we got along pretty good. She didn't really want to pet me and I really didn't want to be petted, so things turned out okay.

It was just our family for the Big Game and that suited me just fine. They were making too much noise for my taste anyway. :D

The coolest toy ever!

Yesterday I discovered the coolest toy ever! The little person at our house is very artistic and got a new set of supplies for Christmas. Well she was working on a masterpiece when something purple and shiny hit the floor. It was long and skinny and bendy. The more I touched it, the more the shape changed. I think Mom called it a pipe cleaner. I call it ten tons of fun!

I batted it and chased it and carried it and threw it up and smacked it. It was fabulous! Maybe I'm a good artist too! :D

Where'd the tree go?

For a few days we had the most wonderful thing in our house! It was this great big TREE! It had lights on it and it was AWESOME! Probably the best thing my parents ever put in the house for me. I laid under it. I tried climbing it once, but mom wasn't real keen on that. It was great! They even laid these big boxes with paper on them underneath that were tres comfortable to nap on.

THEN, ALL OF THE SUDDEN...

Mom starts taking it apart and putting it back in a box! Can you believe that! Who knew you could take a tree apart in the first place?

Anyway, I'm back to my old perch on top of the reclining loveseat, but I'm telling ya... I'm gonna miss that tree. I hope they change their minds and bring that back.
