Thanks to my great mates and me being a DDP

I want to thank all my mates that purred for my Grandma. She home after they run some tests and she is going to be ok.

She had Transient global amnesia. What that is in nutshell Grandma had no short term memory for 24 hours it was like she lost a day and had no memory of it.

Mum told her she picked a good day to get it as it wasn't that interesting but we were all scared for Grandma. The doctors ruled out stroke and they got her blood pressure under control.

Can you please keep the purrs going for my Grandma. The doctors aren't sure why it happened or if it could happen again. So the power of the paw is the best way to go to help Grandma.

Mum got an email to tell us that I've been picked as a daily diary pick. Thanks to the dairy chick for picking me it always an honor to be picked. I just wish I had something better and happier to write about.

Well that's my news for now. I am off the the BC.

Purrs and hugs your Aussie mate.

A update on Grandma

Mum talked to Grandma and went and saw her for a quick visit after work and I'm happy to say Grandma is better than yesterday.

Can you please keep the purrs going since the doctors are still trying to work out what happened yesterday. They have ruled out a full a stroke. It could've been a mini stroke which Grandma has had before or a seizure of some kind.

Grandma's blood pressure is up and they think there might be some connection with all the stress she's been under lately.

I want to thank all my mates that have sent purrs and messages of support. They are all read and appreciated.

Grandma is in hospital after having a mini stroke due to the stress of all that's been going on with Grandpa and other family stuff.

Can you please join me in purring for my Grandma while she recovers from this. Grandma is ok physically apart from high blood pressure.

Mum and I would really appreciate the purrs and I know Grandma will too. This has happened before but not for a long time. When Grandma gets home I am going to give her some leassons in how to chill out until then please send purrs.

An update on Grandpa

I haven't pawed a diary updating everyone on my Grandpa for a while so here goes.

Grandpa had 12th chemo today and that will hopefully be the last. They are going to take the pernanent IV out of Grandpa's arm on Wednesday and he will have a scan done in May to determine if the chemo has worked.

I want to thank everyone for the purrs abd prayers. I am sure they have helped Grandpa get to this point in his cancer journey. Mum and Grandpa have met so many wonderful people throughout the last 6 months.

Mum reckon the oncology nurses are angels and the doctors have given Grandpa top notch care. He will have to go and have more test later but hopefully this is the end of the cancer journey for Grandpa.

I send my purrs to those who are begining their cancer journey and those still in the fight.

I hope this find my friends and their families happy and healthy and I send my purrs to thoe doing it tough.

Sorry this is a bit late my mum has been busy with work lately and hasn't had time to help me paw a diary,

I was quiet over whelmed with the number of rosettes I got for valentines day that I'm sorry I can't thank everyone individually. But I want to thank everyone who sent a rosette.

All messages were read and appreciated it nice to know that so many of my mates were thinking of me and took the time to send a rosette.

Everything is going well with me and my family. Grandpa has his 10th chemo on Monday and hopefully his on the home stretch. They will do scans before the 12th chemo to see if he will need anymore. If he does they can do more but I'm purring like mad that won't be the case.

I hope this finds my mates and their families happy and healthy and I send my purrs to those doing tough.

My mum has an attention span shorter than me so I thought it was about time I pawed another update. Well I must confess. Mum worked for the last 5 days so she hasn't had time to help me and she's been working really hard.

There isn't a heck of a lot to update you all on. I'm doing really well and have been outside a lot since the weather's been warm. Grandpa is still going well with his chemo. He has 8th chemo tomorrow.

Can you please spare some purrs for those in Queensland and parts of new south wales that going through flash flood which were the result of three tornadoes ripping through the area a couple of days ago.

Three people have lost their lives with a another three missing. There are lot of house and other stuff lost but you can't replace people. My heart goes out to all the people and animals directly affected.

This a short update since there anything exciting going on at the moment.

I hope this find my mates and their families happy and healthy and I send my purrs to those doing it tough.

It been a while since I last wrote in my diary

As the title tells you it's been a while since I last wrote in my diary so I thought it was high time I got mum to help me paw an update.

Grandpa had his 7th chemo treatment on Monday and he's now over the half way hump. He's doing really well and has five more treatments and then doctors will decide if more is required. They can do more that 12 treatments if required.

Grandpa had a fall last week and got quiet a nasty black eye from it. He on the mend from this but his eye didn't look pretty for a few days and he some small bruises on other parts of his face.

Mum is still working hard not as much as she would like during the week but at least she got work on the weekends. I miss her when not home but I know she has to go to work to earn money to help pay for my cat food.

I'm doing ok. Getting out for walks a lot in this warmer weather. Some days it's too hot to do anything other than sleep in front of the air con or a fan.

I would like to ask that all mates purr for all the people and the animals that have been affected by the bush fires that are going on all over Australia at the moment. It's been really hot here and conditions are only going to get worse over the next few days. So if you could spare some purrs it would be appreciated.

I think that's all my news for now. I hope this finds my mates and their families happy and healthy and I send my purrs to those doing tough.

Just wanted to paw a diary to wish all my mates a happy new year. I know Australia is one of the first countries to celebrate new year. So I hope I'm not getting in too early.

Here are some things I would like to see happen in the new year.

1. My Grandpa to be cancer free. This is the one thing I want the most.

2. Every kitty finds a loving furever home.

3. Good things to keep happening for my human family.

4. Good health for everyone. My human family and all my catster mates.

Happy new year everyone hope you have a great 2013.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

It Christmas eve here in Australia and I've finally got mum to help me paw a Christmas diary entry.

I have to say in mum defence she has worked the last 5 days straight and she been working really hard. The supermarket she works at is busy at the best of times but at this time of year even worse she started at 7am this morning and she told me she didn't stop until her shift finished at 11am.

She even came home and had a nana nap for a couple of hours she was so tired. I miss mum when she not home but I know she makes the time to spend time with me when she is home and I love her for that.

We are going to have a quiet Christmas just the five of us and have lunch together. If this year has taught me anything it is take time to enjoy being with your family you never know what's around the corner.

I want to thank all my mates for being there for me this year. We've had a tough year with Grandpa getting sick and it's times like these it makes you appreciate your mates even more.

My greatest wishes for next year is that Grandpa is cancer free and all shelter kitties get a loving furever home and someone to love them just like the one I've been lucky enough to live in.

Well this is starting to get a bit long. So Merry Christmas to all my mates and I hope that Santa brings you everything your heart desires. I also hope my mates stay safe over the Christmas holidays.

Grandpa is finally home. After nine days in hospital. He is a bit grumpy but apart from that he's feeling really good. He's happy that he can drive when he feels up to it.

I want to thank all my mates for there support and purrs during this difficult time. All comments and rosettes were really appreciated.

If it's not too much trouble can you please keep the purrs coming that this doesn't happen again. Grandpa still has 8 treatments to go or 4 months to go.
