I AM A MYSTERY...

Firstly, thanks to Catster for DDP twice in one week....thank you furry much. Secondly, I have not thrown up for 11 days, so mawmy and daddy are holding off on giving me the prednisolone...with the OK of Dr Bob. Mawmy got the tests and the pills cause I was throwing up SO MUCH...now I am not...oh well...no pills for now! HOORAY!

GREAT NEWS!

There is NO cancer anywhere! My IBD is mostly in my stomach, so Dr Bob & Dr Natalie are going to start me on prednisolone. We are SO relieved and so thankful to our big wonderful Catster family for your purrs,comments, prayers and gifts. THANK YOU!

Still waiting...

Mawmy gave me the last of the pain meds yesterday. I am feeling pretty good the last few days...no throw ups...but we are still waiting for some news....waiting is so hard!

The news is...no news

My vet not only did ultrasounds and a stomach biopsy, but did a liver biopsy too. So, now we wait...hope mawmy sleeps better tonight...we will know more in 2-5 days, and I was glad to get home tonight and EAT something. Keep those purrs and prayers coming!

I am not feeling 100%

Went to the vet today...and I have to go back on Wednesday. While I have minor IBD, Dr Bob thinks it may be something else. I have to have ultrasounds and a stomach biopsy. Mawmy says it could be bacterial which is easy to fix, or it could be lymphoma...please purr, with thanks.

Update on me...

I spent the whole day at the vet clinic yesterday. My stomach has improved a little bit, intestine remains the same (no better BUT no worse either). Everyone has decided to take me off ALL meds for now, and just treat the IBD with special food. Mawmy is looking into pro-biotics, but they are pills, and frankly I HATE PILLS! I have to go back for a re-check next month.
We thank ALL of our WONDERFUL CATSTER FAMILY for the paw mails, rosettes and purrs and prayers. DDP and DP in the same week...WOW! We love you all so furry much, and ask that you keep the purrs and prayers coming, with thanks!

Wow...DDP...thanks Catster and thanks to all of you for gifties, rosies etc. I am feeling a little better...mawmy had to stop giving me pills for a few days, and I had to get used to my new food. They now have to start me on Tylosin...not sure what that is, but I hope it is NOT a pill. Thank you Catster family for your purrs and celebratory messages...we love each and every one of you. Please purr that the new pill won't upset my stomach. THANK YOU!

I have IBD....

The diagnosis is IBD...irritable bowel disorder...to keep the infection and inflammation from spreading, I am on 3 different antibiotics and a new hypo-allergenic food. It is a bit overwhelming, but my vet thinks I am a rock star, and mawmy and daddy keep telling me what a good boy I am. I DON'T want to have to go on steroids, so hope the pills and food work. I go back in a month for a re-check of the ultra sound.

Oh dear...

I am spending the day at the Vet clinic...they are worried about my urinary tract...whatever that is...so purrs are appreciated!
