'Tis a good day and a wonderful last night....

What a great day to start off the New Year. Or should I say I had
one too many martinis and I'm waking up with a kitty hangover
the size of my competitive ego. But I had a great celebration
nontheless though.

And Kiara? Passed out on the floor. Man can that chick take a
few drinks. No more chug-a-luggin' contests for me....or her for
that matter. But after a few stretches, marathon running
about the house, a bit of a cold shower, and a nap....

....I'll be one well rested feline, I assure you.

Well almost New Year!!

What I enjoyed this year was my friends, my new sister, all the toys
and love I've gotten and much more.

*Lifts a Champagne glass filled with Chardonnay*

Light hangs my head that wears the crown....

I Tiger, do have a voice of opinion other than my husky sister
Kiara(whose the self proclaimed "queen" of the house).
But, like the title says...."Light hangs my head that wears the crown"-
I wear my crown lightly and proudly than heavy and regretful.

The old saying:"Heavy is the head that wears the crown."

Sometimes I dream of the sweet escape to the greater outdoors
than the peaceful garden I explore everyday(not that that's getting
old). I've escaped before and disappeared for two weeks, I was only
a block away while my bipeds think I was somewhere in the city or
the country somewhere(what do you think this is? Homeward
Bound?). And came back ill as well. This was months ago.
I'm healed and feeling much better now and achieving my full
potential as King. Well, following in my father's footsteps to be
a "full" one.

Oh what the heck....

I am to my full potential. Although Kiara does joke about
trying to "snuff me out", when I least expect it....then she
gives me the whole evil grin.....

*raises a brow*

....What the crap, is regicide tolerated in this family or what?

I think we have a difference of opinion on that one, but....

Kiara thinks I'm lazy. Mom thinks I'm lazy. Mom sleeps just as
much as me and gets nothing done homework wise or otherwise.
Mom finds my constant pouncing annying yet she lets Kiara


Mom finds me greedy. Kiara eats like a horse and never gains any
more weight due to her active nature; Mom doesn't see this.
We all think were a dysfunctional animal family in our own way.

That's one thing we can all agree on.....well it's a start to becoming
a balanced pack or a pride, I suppose.
