Our hearts are heavy and so sad tonite with the news our sweet friend Biggles has gone to the bridge. We had some things in common, one being our fabulous feet! Although i think he won a bit over me.
We will most certainly miss him. He was a beautiful boy and a hard worker. He loved his job and now is looking for one at the Bridge. We have ask our sisfur Angel Cleo and our very dear friend Sir Sonny Bono to help him get acquainted with his new life.
Please go by and give your love and support to his family. Biggles is #1008967
We will miss you our friend. Tony and family

Ashe is a new kitty that has become our 'outdoor' brother. He has been coming to visit for quite a while now. Mom said when he started coming every single day she would make him his own page. Now for a couple of weeks he comes everyday to see us and have his breakfast and supper in view of our screened porch. We just sit and quietly watch him (except for Anna who gets hissy) and then he trots off until the next meal.
He won't let mom come near him and when she takes the wet food out he will disappear into the shrubs until he hears the door close.
So today mom is giving him his own page. We took a vote and named him Ashe because he is a soft grey color and he disappears at the slightest breeze. Watch for him later today. purrs and headbonks Tony

To all my wonderfur furiends~
During my scary illness i made a new friend, Mr. Biggles. Now i love that name! He is a beautifur orange and white six year old boy with some fantastic feet. (of course i am interested in feet because mine are so big).
Biggles is very sick and due for tests tomorrow. i am asking all those fabulous furiends who prayed for me to pray for Biggles. you see my mom truly believes that is why i didn't go to the Bridge Friday nite. All those prayers went straight to Heaven and Jesus reached down His big hand and touched me. He made me and loves me and knew just how much Mom loves me so he let me stay with her longer.
Now i am asking for the same thing for Biggles. Please put all those Catster Paws together and send up lots of purrayers for Biggles.
Thanks to you all~There are no other furiends on earth like Catster Furiends! purrs and so much love to you Tony and mom

We had very good news from the vet! Everything checked out ok!
The vet said there is no sign of the heart disease Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. I had normal to direct and indirect responses in my eyes. My heart rate is fine and my skin coloring nice and pink.
She feels i overate, overplayed and then my body overreacted to my throwing up.
Mom was told to limit my salt intake (which means no more of my Wellness wet food), to not let me over exert myself and mom is to give me Vit E for my heart, just in case. Mom is suppose to watch me a few days for anything unusual. But otherwise she saw nothing to be concerned about.
Mom is so relieved and so very thankful for each and everypurr and their pawrents who prayed for me. She still believes if it hadn't been for all those loving prayers i wouldn't be with her today! Again we thank you with all our hearts and please if you ever need a friend, a prayer, an ear, a shoulder to cry on, we are here for you as you were for us. with oh so much love Tony and mom

I am feeling better today, still a bit weak and i am drinking a lot of water but mom is hoping that is just left over from last nights problems. i have a good appetite and was able to jump up on the sofa by myself this morning. mom was so happy about that because last night i couldn't even stand up alone. my breathing and heart seem to be back to normal too.
monday morning i have an appointment with the vet for x rays to check my heart. so i will update on that after my vet visit.
mom and i are just amazed at the outpouring of love and concern for me. i am going to thank each one individually but i wanted to thank you all as my treasured Catster friends. we have never met such a loving, caring group in our lives. each message is an encouraging and precious gift. our hearts are just overflowing with the love you have sent to us and we are returning to you. there simply aren't the right words to say how we feel~as close as we can get is "We love you!, We appreciate each of you and feel so priviledged to be friends. Thank you with all our hearts. Tony and mom

(from Tony's mom)
First thank you for all the prayers. there is no doubt in my mind that is why my sweet boy is home resting on his pillow. I am overwhelmed with the love and prayers that were sent to him! Tomorrow i will answer each paw mail and gift he recieved too, but tonight i will just tell you what happened.
this evening Tony, Sammy and Stormy were all chasing each other around the house having a great time. there was no warning at all of what was to come. and Tony except for some allergies has always been super healthy.
i heard Tony throw up and went to check, he was lying on the floor in the middle of it. i tried to pick him up and he just fell over. He started panting with his mouth open really wide and drooling (sorry sweetie) he has never done anything like that before either. his little heart was beating so fast i truly thought he would never make it to the vet.
we live out a long way and the closest emergency vet to us is an hour away. while Tony's dad called the vet and got everything ready i took Tony in the bedroom closet and lay on the floor with him and just prayed. all the other cats were trying to figure out what was wrong with him and it was making it worse so we closed ourselves in and turned off the light to calm him.
as soon as we got everything ready we headed to the vet and on the way he was still having all those problems. but as we drove his breathing eased and he closed his mouth. his heart slowed down but it was still way too fast when we got to the vet. she observed him (with me never letting him go) for about an hour and a half and by the time we left he was standing on his own again. his heart still fast but nothing like before.
she told us she suspects hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and that she thought he would be fine to take home tonight since he was so much better but to go to our vet as soon as we could for tests.
as i write Tony is resting quietly on his blanket. i ask you to please continue to pray for him. i will update his diary tomorrow. again thank you for all the prayers. i know with my whole heart that is the only reason he didn't go to the bridge tonight. Jesus answers prayers and i love you all for being such wonderfur furiends to us! love bobbie Tony's mom

Since Dad had to work today we all thought we'd just hang out and have a quiet day. Well were we in for a surprise. We had company for lunch and they weren't even invited.
We were laying in the sun by the glass doors and mom came over to talk to us when she saw three young raccoons eating out of our bird feeders. They were really cute and mom got some good pictures because they hung around (literally) for a good half an hour. They gobbled up every bit of our bird seed too.
Those awful noisy fireworks have already started so i'm going to go hide under the bed with the rest of my furmates. bye for now
