It's my 2nd birthday!

I'm TWO!

I'm purry excited! My furmily is having a pawty for me! I'm getting lots of treats and prezzies! I think I even get a special birthday dinner that none of the other kitties get to have!

(Don't tell my mom or grannymeow that I know that--it's supposed to be a surprise! MOL)

I hope nokitty lost a loved one.

My mommy's been pretty disturbed by the news about it, so I slept with my butt in her face last night to cheer her up.

Knot me!

I've been getting knots in my fur! And my grannymeow and my mommy keep pulling them out!

Ouch ouch ouch ouch! I meow at them to stop, but they're...obsessed or something! They just keep tugging and pulling at me!

I have to admit, though, it does feel better to not be tied in up in knots! MOL

But shh...don't tell them that. Pweeeeease!

The Great Outdoors!

Meow, Everykitty!

The weather has been beautiful and warm here, so I've been getting to go outside in our fenced-in backyard.

It is SO pawsome! I love being out there. I've been exploring, slowly, and getting used to being out there.

Percy isn't too happy I'm out there with him. He fuzzed up so much he looked like a basketball. My grannymeow told him to defuzz, it was just me! Percy's so funny sometimes. (and fun to annoy)!

The only thing is I had to get a noose put around my neck before I could go outside. My grannymeow said it will keep fleas off me (and everykitty else). I don't want fleas, but I don't know what to make of this ring around my collar! MOL

Missing my beauty sleep

Good morning, everykitty!

If I look a little rough today, it's because my beauty sleep was interrupted last night. Tessa's fault. She had a giant plastic shopping bag around her neck and was running all over the house trying to get away from it.

I am purry relieved to report she's fine. That mean 'ol bag didn't hurt her at all, and my mommy and grannymeow killed it so it can't hurt any of us.

But I was so scared I couldn't go back to sleep for about 15 whole minutes! I missed SO much sleep!

Which means I must go catch up on it now!

My lap kitty potential

Meow, everykitty!

It looks like I may be switching mommies!

(I hope that doesn't sound bizarrely southern). MOL

What I mean is, I am really getting attached to my grannymeow, and she's getting really attached to me. Yesterday I crawled on her lap--MY choice--for the first time ever. She was so happy I did.

And don't tell anykitty, but Percy likes me best.

So if my mommy's ever able to afford anything besides cat food and move back out to a house of her own again, I may stay with my grannymeow!

But you know how they accuse us kitties of being finicky. I know, SOOO rude. At the rate Sawyer's eating, my mommy will be living here for 57 years, and by then, I might be a mommy's girl again. MOL

My very first honor EVER!

My very first chance to make all my fursibs J-E-A-L-O-U-S. *giggle* As far as we know, they've never gotten any honors. So I'm the FIRST! (It took my mommy a while to figure out there are Diary picks other than Diary of the Day, so I could be wrong about that, though. MOL!)

Anyway, this is so pawsome, and I'd like to thank all my pawsome friends for the concatulation Rosettes! You kitties are the best!

Hmm...I'm thinking a nap is the purrfect way to celebrate!

My grannymeow took me out in the back yard the other day. She sat me down on the pawsome soft grass! I loved it! I started roaming around instead of bolting back inside like I'd done before. But then, I started shooting away from her. Every time she'd try to catch me to take me back inside, I'd get away from her. hee hee hee

I finally got up on the stairs and then she was hollering all mad like Sawyer when the food bowl's empty. So I went back inside.

It was such pawsome fun being outside and getting to be so sneaky and dodge my grannymeow. MOL

Hopefully I get to go out there again soon!

Oops!

WOW! I haven't written in my diary in furrever!

I've just been so busy napping, I haven't gotten around to it!

Speaking of naps, I haven't had one in over an hour. No wonder I'm so sleepy! Well, that and the fact Mommy did a photo shoot with us this morning. Big white lights glowing in our face every few seconds. Quite a rude awakening for us sleep deprived kitties! She doesn't want us to look directly at her coz our eyes glow in the pictures. So we look directly at her. *innocent meow*

White stuff?

We actually got snow this weekend! It was the first time my mommy's seen snow in years, and she couldn't believe we actually got snow. She was mad it snowed on the weekend though and didn't get her out of going to that place she has to go to make cat food money.

I sat on my chair by the back door and watched it snow. And then I watched Percy traipse around in it. And then I watched it melt. Yep. Gone already!

And it's supposed to be in the 60s here by the end of the week! Maybe it'll be warm enough for my grannymeow to start taking me outside! *paws crossed*
