My First Vet Visit With Meowmy & Daddy!

Today, meowmy & daddy took me to the vet... I went before when I was at the breeders to get neutered & some shots, but meowmy wanted to take me furr a check-up and to have a me on record. When she got home (about a 1/2 hour before my appt, she noticed that my eye was really irritated and was concerned about that.

Well, at 5:00pm, we arrived at the vets and boy did they fall in love with me! I gained 4 ounces since I've been home. The Dr took a look at my eye and decided to do an Eye Staining Test and what she found was a scratch. I didn't like the Staining at all. First, they put these weird drops in my right eye and then she shut off the light and placed an ultraviolet device up to my eye, which glowed purple. The actual scratch showed up green... that's how she knew that it was a scratch. It could have happened from playing or just when I scratched my face. I was fine this morning before meowmy left furr work. The vet gave me drops furr my irritated eye. I also got my rabies shot. We are all "strictly indoors" but meowmy is always afraid that something can run in (a squirrel or something) and she wants us to be fully protected. You know how meowmys are! The other series of necessary shots were already given by the breeder. I blame Snowmitts furr the scratch (ssshhhhh) because he and I are always playing and sometimes he gets a little rough but means NO harm! He's a wonderful brother to me and I love him so so much. We just like playing. The vet gave meowmy special drops that I have to take every 12 hours furr 5 days. I hate that part!

When I got home, there was a toy waiting furr me. Thanks mewomy & daddy! They always get us a toy when we have to go to the vet. So Spoiled but they say we're worth it. Now I'm going to take a nap because the rabies shot and Eye Staining Test made me purry tired. Don't like going to the vets at all... Hate the carrier to begin with and now I'm really scared of it! Grrrrrrrrr.

Tonite was another fun nite furr me.... my Auntie Patti came over (meowmy's purry good furriend & our kittysitter). She brought me a really cute card that plays music and toys! Meowmy also got me a cake tonite furr my welcome home. Didn't have a pawty or anything but during the week I have received presents from some purry special kittys & people). I can't thank you enough furr welcoming me in such a warm way... Thanks to all, furr I am a purry lucky kitty!

My First Halloween!

This is my first Halloween and I had a great time. Went Trick-Or-Treating with meowmy and even got some treaties from the neighbors. Our first treats were from meowmy. Thanks meowmy!!! It was a Purr-fect day for strolling and I'm starting to get use to it. The sun was shining and the leaves were falling (wish I could have caught them)! Meowmy has plenty of candy left because there weren't many humans out so I think daddy is going to eat it... Yup, that's what's going to happen.

Thanks Purry Much Boogers, Hondo & Fido!

Today was a big day for me.... Went or my first stroll, got toys, and then a BIG surprise from my purry special new furriends, Boogers, Hondo & Fido! They sent us a Ty Halloween Boogers Ghost and is he cute! Wow... I never knew that I would have such wonderful furriends like the ones I have now. Meowmy couldn't wait to take pics. Thanks purry much Boogers, Hondo & Fido. Love you!

Toys From My Special Furriends!

Today was a fun day... meowmy's friend came over (the meowmy of Thelma, Louise, Tigger, Princess & Alice) and she brought over a little gift bag of toys and a card from the kittys! Meowmy and Auntie Karen had cake and coffee while I played with all of my new toys. Thanks purry much to my special furriends, Thelma, Louise, Tigger, Princess & Alice) furr making my day SUPER!

Mt First Stroll!

Today, meowmy took me out furr my first stroll and my, was I nervous! All I did was cry and then look at meowmy to make sure she didn't leave me. I never saw one of these thingies before... Then she decided to put my bestest buddy/brother, Snowmitts in the stroller with me. Well... I didn't cry at first but then I started up again. Meowmy was telling me that the more I get use to it, the more I'll enjoy it. Plus, I'm still a baby so that's a good! It wasn't as bad as a carrier so I think I'll be fine. Meowmy took some pics of my first day out strolling. Before long, I'll be a pro like the others!

Making Me Feel SOOOO Special!

This is only my second day in my new home (and less than a day at Catster)and already, I have met some really purrific kittys. I got Pumpkins, Stars , Ribbons and Group Invites which makes me feel SUPER Special. I want to thank all of the kittys who made me feel so welcomed here at Catster. You guys and gals are furrtastic!

My New Home!

It is now a full day since I have been in my new home. My meowmy and daddy already have me so spoiled. Meowmy even went out tonite after work and got the Drinkwell Platinum Water Fountain at Petsmart. I used that before but my new siblings haven't and they were a bit confused at first, but after awhile, they thought it was neat! So many toys were waiting for me when I got home last nite, which was nice because I didn't like the drive home too much (cried all the way). As furr getting along with my siblings, it took about an hour after I got home last nite, but after that, we were all furriends! Didn't take long at all and that made meowmy purry happy.

My very first Pumpkin was from my new friends, Boogers, Hondo and Fido... Thanks guys!

I look forward to meeting many new furriends on Catster and thanks furr having me. It's wonderful to be here!
