Mom Received A Beautiful Gift From Angel Amelia And Her- Meowmy!

I would like to begin my Diary by welcoming my beautiful sister, Kashmere to Rainbow Bridge. She looks so purrty in her new wings given by Shadow, Samoa & auntie Tera. This has been such a shock fur everyone but especially fur our meowmy. Kashmere was fine one minute and then suddenly an angel the next. Mom is having a purrry difficult time accepting the fact that her baby is no longer with her and still can't go to her page to begin thanking all of you but will try again tomorrow. Please know how much mom appreciates everything you have sent and hasn't furgotten you. It will take time but she'll be sure to thank each of you individually as well as update Kashmere's diary with all of your names. Kashmere made her journey to the Bridge on Cocoa's Birthday 4/21/09 at approx 11:45 pm. She was such a sweet little girl who was shy but still liked to show affection towards her family. Mom will be picking up her ashes next Wednesday to bring her back home where she'll rest next to me on the bedroom bureau. There will always be an empty place in my pawrent's hearts that could never be filled but the beautiful memories will live on furever. Kashmere would have been celebrating her 8th Birthday on May 1st but now she will be celebrating here at the Bridge with me and so many wonderful angel furiends.

Today, meowmy received a beautiful pressie from *ANGEL AMELIA & AUNTIE MARTHA* As soon as she came in from getting the mail, she was holding an envelope. She carefully opened it and there was long white box as well a a nice card. She opened the box and inside was a pressie wrapped in purrty flowered tissue paper. As she unwrapped it, she saw a gorgeous handmade necklace which auntie Martha made. She was so touched and speechless. She gently took the necklace from the paper and held it in her hand. The necklace is silver with little heart links and lovely multi-colored. The clasp has a silver hanging heart that reads "made with love" along with 2 heart beads on each side of the necklace and 2 crystals on each side of the hearts. On the bottom of the necklace is a scrolled designed heart with 3 dangling links. The center link has a total of 4 smaller crystals and a heart bead with a hanging silver cat. There are crystals on each side of the heart. There is also a larger crystal with 2 smaller crystals on each side (all on the center link). On one of the 2 side hanging links is a crystal with 2 smaller crystals on each side of it followed by a silver hanging kitty face. the other link has 3 crystals with 2 smaller crystals. This special necklace is called the Rainbow Bridge necklace and it was made fur mom in Loving Remembrance of me.

The thoughtful card reads "Dearest Barbi, Made in loving remembrance of our Angel Picasso! He and Angel Amelia will keep each other company until we re-unite again in LOVE at the Rainbow Bridge! Love, Martha & Angel Amelia."

Mom is so grateful fur this precious gift that was made with love straight from the heart from auntie Martha and Angel Amelia. I adore Amelia and she was at the Bridge waiting to greet me when I got my wings on 12/8/08. Thank you so much fur making mom's day so special. She needed something to brighten her day today and this certainly helped her. Special furiends make our lives happier and that's what furiendships are all about. Our Sister, Kashmere Is Now Heaven's Angel

Late last night at 11:45, my beloved sister, Kashmere made her journey into Heaven where I greeted her with open paws. She looks so beautiful with her purrty angel wings and gold halo. Mom was chatting with auntie Joann (Patchez mom) and discussing how she just finished Kashmere's Birthday pages with Hello Kitty. About 5 minutes later, meowmy heard a horrible intense moan so she told Joann that she'd call her back, thinking that one of us must have been having a kitty disagreement. As mom approached the second level of stairs, she saw Kashmere having convulsions and ran to her. She tried to administer CPR but at that point, it was too late. Kashmere passed away purrry quickly in mom's arms. Mom them kept talking to her to please wake up even though there was no heart beat. She was in shock and couldn't believe what had happened. She held Kashmere for about 15 minutes, just rocking her hoping fur a miracle but unfortunately, that miracle was never answered. Mom then wrapped Kashmere is a white blankie with blue paw prints and placed her in a large box where she was kept in the cool garage until the morning when she would be taken to the vet. Mom got no sleep and hasn't eaten since 5:30 pm, last night. Today when mom had taken Kashmere to the vet, she asked to have an autopsy performed but since she was deceased fur more than 1-1/2 hours, it could not be done as the body collects bacteria and separates internally almost immediately. Later on when Dr Wray phoned, he explained about the deterioration and separation to meowmy to help her understand better. Since an animal is much smaller than a person, this process begins almost the time of death and invades the body more quickly. He also said that it sounds as though Kashmere had a clot which traveled to her brain and that's what caused the convulsions. Her dilated pupils also indicated that it was something neurological and that she was basically no longer with us. At this point, nothing could be done as it took her so suddenly. Kashy was already brain dead as Dr Wray explained. She has never been sick a day in her life and this is what makes it even more shocking. She may have had a clot as a kitten which suddenly traveled, causing her immediate passing. A blood clot is something that can not be diagnosed, especially if there isn't anything that gives indication such as with Kashmere. It can suddenly appear within and take a life within moments.

Kashmere is being privately cremated at the same Crematory as me. We would like to thank all of you fur all of your kind words, phone calls, gifties and rosettes. Mom would also like to thank each of you from the bottom of her heart and will get back to you when she is feeling a little stronger to do so.

Isis and family sent my brother, Cocoa a Birthday pawkage which arrived today but mom will take photos tomorrow. She just isn't up to much right now and we're doing our best to help her through this. Daddy is still at work (he's a safety supervisor) fur hazardous and can't leave without someone taking his place. Hopefully, he will be returning back home to my family earlier than is planned. Unfortunately, there aren't many people who are licensed to do this job and he's responsible fur watching out fur his workers to keep them safe from hazardous duties. He has been calling meowmy often throughout the day to check up on her. Daddy will be with this pawticular job fur about another month or so (home on the weekends).

Kashmere will be missed dearly by those who knew her but Heaven has also gained a wonderful angel... Kashmere made her journey to Heaven on Cocoa's 14th Birthday (4/21/09). She would have been celebrating her 8th Birthday on May 1st and she loved "Hello Kitty!"

Happy 14th Birthday To Our Bro, Cocoa!

Our handsome brother, *COCOA* will be celebrating his 14th Birthday on Tuesday, April 21st and we are so proud to be sharing this special day with him. Cocoa is such a wonderful kitty and has been with meowmy fur 14 years. That's surely a long time together and we purray that he will have many more lovely Birthday's to share with my family. As some of you may know, Cocoa was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) over 5 years ago and each and everyday that he is with my Earth family is a true blessing. Mom makes sure that he takes his medications daily and monitors his breathing, just as she did with me. Cocoa has the same heart disease which I suffered from, but mine was at the advanced stages when I was diagnosed at 5-1/2 months. No matter what, Cardiomyopathy is a serious heart disease and should never be taken lightly. Our meowmy is terrific and my siblings know that they're always in good hands with her, no matter how sick they may be. She took such pawome care of me and that's why I lived longer than the doctors anticipated. Now, let's help Cocoa celebrate this special day. Our Dear Furiend, Muppet is Purrry Ill!

Last night we have learned that our dear and special furiend, *MUPPET* was diagnosed with a brain tumor and unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much that they can do at this point but that doesn't mean we're giving up hope *wipes eyes* Mom was devastated when she learned of this sad news and decided to go to bed earlier than usual. Mom is also not feeling well, due to a bad sinus infection so she's taking several antibiotics fur 10 days. My pawrents met Muppet and her meowmy, Cheryl last year in Las Vegas while Muppet was visiting a specialist fur her ear. It was such a nice meeting and my parents are honored to have met such a wonderful family.

Please keep Muppet and her meowmy in your purrrs and purrayers during this sad and difficult time. We love you Muppet and auntie Cheryl and always know that we're here fur you.

Spending My First Easter Celebration At The Bridge!

Well, this is my first Easter celebration at Rainbow Bridge and I have met so many wonderful new angel furiends. Of course I miss my wonderful family but I wanted them to know that everything is ok and I'm even having a bunny hopping contest with my furiend, *MAYNARD* today. Maynard was so sweet and made a special bunny photo just fur me *wipes eyes* That was so sweet and purry thoughtful. Guess what... later on I'm even going to hop down the clover trail along with Maynard, Paisan, Sonny Buno and several others. Then we're going Easter eggie hunting which sounds to be so much fun!!! Maynard is also the cute kitty who made the beautiful remembrance slideshow fur me on my page along with the song "Will You Remember Me?" Today is also a purrry special day because my dear angel furiend, *CLAWDIA"* is celebrating what would have been her 10th Birthday if she was still an Earth kitty. We made her a purrty angel cake with 10 pink candles to help her celebrate here at the Bridge.

THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stop and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of you pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together...

Happy 5th Birthday To Our Bro, Jaspurr!

Today is a purrry special day because we are celebrating our brother, *JASPURR'S* Birthday! I wish I was there to help him celebrate but I'm doing so here at the Bridge. All of my Angel furiends are gathered around, singing a special Happy Birthday song just fur my him... Jaspurr was such a pawsome brother and wow does he LOVE the stroller. Actually, Jaspurr was always the last to stroll because once he's in it, there's no getting him out. Therefore, the others can't strolling until he decides that he's had enough of it which could be a good hour or even more *giggles* Mom does have the smaller Pet Gear Happy Trails stroller but prefers the AT3. In case some of you don't know this, Jaspurr and Aspen are also full brothers (same breeder as all of my Raggie siblings) but Jaspurr and Aspey were born at a different time so they're not litter mates. Same meowmy & daddy of course! By the way, I will miss strolling as that was something I really enjoyed but don't worry... there's plenty of strolling up here in heaven.

Angel Purrrrs!

Hip Hip Hurrray... I'm A DDP Again, Today!

*tosses mousies* Meowmy couldn't believe it when she saw that I was a DDP again. So far, I have been chosen 3 times this year (Feb 27, March 13, and March 22 and COTW on Jan 5th). This makes meowmy so happy and she couldn't wait to tell daddy before he left fur the gym just a little while ago. Of course mom is always grateful when one of her babies are chosen but it really touches her heart when it's me since I'm her little precious angel.

I have been meeting new furiends here at the Bridge and everyday has been a mousie pawtyfur me. Whenever I'm greeting a new kitty angel at the gates, I will hand them a beautiful angel mousie to help welcome them into their new and furever home. At first some are scared because they are no longer with their families but they do adapt purrry quickly and before you know it, they're running in the fields and feeling well again. God makes sure that we are all better when we arrive to the Bridge with no more pain, illness or suffering. The pain that we do endure is the pain that our families is feeling after our parting and that hurts us to see them so sad. I see my meowmy cry often as she holds the photo of me closely, followed by a kiss. She'll also say good night and good morning to me to me each day while softly patting my Urn with her fingers. I'm actually resting in the Master bedroom (on the bureau) because that is where I spent a good amount of time, looking out the window, not to mention that my pawrents want me close to them.

Do you remember when I had those pawsome Turkey furiends who would stroll by in the back area of my home??? Well, guess what? Yup, you guess correctly and they're back again but a different family this time (at least the daddy is since he was hit by a car last year). Mom was purrry sad when she heard of the devastating news. These little creatures bother nobody and stupid humans should watch how fast they're driving or be more careful and alert. We do not live on a busy street but there is a busier road as you come out of the development. Mom does feeds the Turkey family wheat & rye bread when they stop by to visit *giggles* Mom took a photo of them and posted it on my page!

Meowmy and daddy are going to the furniture store to get their new living room set today. The one that they presently have isn't in bad condition or anything such as that, it's just that mom wants a change (sofa and chair). Daddy says it's a woman thing but mom says it's a man thing when daddy wants new TV's. Hummmm... sounds like a battle thing to me *giggles*

Happy 3rd Birthday To Our Bro, Snowmitts!

Today is a purrry special day as my family is celebrating our brother, *SNOWMITTS'* 3rd Birthday. Snowmitts was always such a sweet kitty and boy does he like to eat *giggles* As most of you may know, Snowmitts has 3 other full related brothers who share the same Ragdoll daddy, "Boris" and those brothers are Biscotti (our family) and Tiskers & Mittens (Boogers' family). His bestest furiend was me of course and it was purrry hard fur him to accept when I made my journey to the Bridge this past December. Mitts also came from the same breeder as my other Ragdoll siblings. Mom can't believe that he's already 3 and she said to daddy on the phone today that it seems like yesterday when Snowmitts came to live with us. Daddy actually called to wish him a Happy 3rd Birthday this morning, which was really thoughtful of our daddy. Mitts was always such a joy to watch and reminds me of a BIG bear and I mean BIGGG! We do know that Tiskers mom, auntie Sam thinks the world of snowmitts as well and is always threatening to steal him away *giggles* My family is hoping that auntie will stop by either this spring or summer fur another visit!!!

Snowmitts also has a beautiful girlfriend named Bitta and I do know that she is his world. All he does is meow's about her and how purrrty and sweet his little Bitta is. Mom is hoping as well that one day soon, Bitta's mom "auntie Chris" will also stop by fur a visit and get to meet all of my siblings *crosses angel paws*

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET SNOWMITTS AND MANY MORE TO COME!

I Am Honored To Be Today's DDP!

*chases mousies* Holy kittens and caboodles, I'm one of today's DDP's (Diary entry below) and that means lots of celebration here at the Bridge. I also received a lovely message from my dear furind, Sonny Bono and from my darling auntie Hazel Lucy. I have been meeting many new furiends here a the Bridge but I do miss my family and furiends on Earth. I know that if it were pawsible, my pawrents would do or give anything to have me back but now I'm with God and he has made me well again. There isn't a day that passes that I don't think of all of you and always know how much I love and miss each of you. Mom can't believe that 3 months have already passed since I made my journey to Heaven. She is slowly accepting my parting but it is still purrry sad and difficult fur her and always will be. Our humans may eventually accept when we have to leave but that doesn't it makes it any easier and the pain will always be there. As mom is helping me to type my Diary entry, she's tearing just thinking about how much she misses me. Please don't cry meowmy because I pawmise that one day we will meet again and we can play furever and ever... You were a wonderful and caring meowmy who took excellent care of me and thanks to you, I lived my brief but happy life to the fullest and that's what is most important *blows angel kisses*

Unfortunately, meowmy has to work today as well as the entire weekend but the good news is that daddy will be home tonight. Of course he has to go away again this coming week but that's part of the job. Hopefully, this will only last fur about 3 more weeks as they claim.
