Well, I've just cast my vote and I am not saying for whom. But I will say, I think that every cat who entered is a winner, and it is such a hard decision with so many great cats, great photos and great friends.

WOW - 9 years old and Diary of the Day

What a day.

On behalf of Foxey, Utu, Schooby and myself, I would like to sends lots of whiskerkisses and headbonks to everyone for the rosies, gifties and pmail.

We are very lucky, cos we get two brithday's - cos in Oz, it was yesterday, but it is today if we were in the States.

As you would realise, it is always a day tinged with sadness cos Foxey is at the Bridge, and Schooby lost her companion Molly not that long ago. But we still had a wonderful day.

Mum bought home bbq chicken for our dinner and we each (including the dogs) had a bowl full for dinner. It was delicious. We love chicken.

And this morning we shared all the yummy cuppycakes sent by our friends.

We won't list everyone - you know who your are, MOL - but we do want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making our birthday so very special.

AND Diary of the Day on my Birthday. What a honour. I will say a big thank you to Alfie, Milo and their family for the great momento of my DOTD. Thanks so much guys.

You are all such great mates. We love you all, and Catster, soooo much.

Vale Louis le Beau

Catster again has been hit by a serious loss, and it is with a very heavy heart that I write that Louis has gone to the Bridge. For those of my furrends who didn't know Louis, he was one of the most wonderful and generous cats you could meet.

We have been furrends for quite a while here on Catster. It was impossible not to be drawn to his handsome face with those gorgeous green eyes. And the cat behind the face was as handsome in nature.

The World Turns - slowly

Well, Molly is still living under the bed, just coming out for food and kitty litter, and to occasionally look out the window. Schooby is being more adventuresome. She is hoping on the bed for cuddles, and has decided the blue cube bed on the chest of drawers is hers.

They are both still hissing at us cats. Most of us ignore them, but Marmie spends a lot of time near them. They hiss at him. Funnily enough, Schooby is less put out by Freya than Marmie. Freya is fascinated and whimpers at Schooby to attract her attention.

They are coping remarkably well considering the size of their new family - both numbers, and in Freya's case, weight, MOL.
