HERE WE GO AGAIN! THIS TIME IT'S MY TURN!

I just wrote a nice rap song for Cammie today and went to save it, to no avail! The "logon" fleas sucked it up!

I'm appawled to the max! So, all diaries will be short and not original until this issue is fixed. They'll all be boring tests. I know I don't want to waste anymore time having a nice diary vanish again.

HALLOWEEN IS ALMOST HERE . . .

Because Halloween is almost here, Mommy has started putting up our decor. Me first, of course, because I'm the black cat of the household and the wise wizard Merlin. Check out my first pic which was done by Wilson J. Scooter's very talented Mom last year.

The rest of our Halloween pages, along with backgrounds, will be done during this weekend. We're using a lot of our old pics and some new ones will be forthcoming.

A FOUR CAT NIGHT

Last night was a four cat night; me and Bail on Mommy's left side and Sampy and Landy on her right. We had her pinned down in that bed! She had a hard time getting out when it was time to get up.

It was so cold that Mommy turned on the heat and still it was cold. Tomorrow's supposed to get a tad warmer, thank goodness.

Also, we had a salmon pawty tonight. I didn't want any this time. Bail and Landy were the only ones who joined Mommy at the pawty.

Anyway, I'm tired.

I HAD A NIP-FILLED WEEKEND

I had the best weekend ever! I had several nip-trips along with Sampy (he's the other nip-crazy kitty in the household!) This nip is from Whisker City, and it's "kick tail". I love it when Mommy decided to throw a nip pawty for us!

Also, after Friday, the weather turned out not too bad. No rain and the sun came out for a while each day.

Anyway, I'm keeping mind short.

SLOWLY BUT SURELY PART II

I understand I did another diary title called "Slowly but Surely" as noted by the computer so I called this one "Part II". I don't remember what the other one was about. Purrhaps it was the same subject matter as Mommy's working on our autumn decor and re-ordering our pics. Boy oh boy, are the picture fleas hopping about! It's slower than molasses in wintertime as our computer keeps freezing up when she wants to get this all accomplished. Mommy's got a short fuse when it comes to the computer freeing up all the time. I keep hearing her yell, "COME ON!!" and she says the "on" like this "ONNNNNNNNNN".

Also, it was a three cat night two nights in a row. It's been unseasonably cold this weekend. Usually during mid September, the temps are between 70 and 85 degrees. We're ready for it to warm up the rest of this month. Let it drop into the lower 60's in October.

Anyway, I'm going to let Mommy finish working on our pages.

CONCATS BAIL!!!

Concats Bail!!! Way to go on being DDP the day after Sampy got it! We're on a roll!

Also, Landy was asking for it this morning so I gave it to him. I was on the top of the kitchen cabinet and he had to follow me up there. I wasn't pleased about that so I swung at him! I don't want to share my kitchen perch with him. Sure, he can go up there but not when I'm up there! Anyway, when he jumped down to the top of the 'fridge, I bopped him in the tail and butt a few times. Then he jumped down and I came down. When I was next to him, he wanted to finish what I started on top of the cabinet. He swung at me so I chased him into an open cat carrier. The little whimp didn't come out either. Eventually, I gave up and walked away. Look out next time, Landy . . .

Basically the rest of my day went fine. The weather has been purrfect for Mommy's whole "staycation".

THAT VACUUM CLEANER HAS GOT TO GO!!!

I don't like that new vacuum cleaner Mommy bought. It's too loud and scary. Early this evening she decided to do the downstairs. As soon as I saw that beast and even before she plugged its long rubbery tail into the wall socket, I was off and running.

I was gone a long time even after she finished vacuuming the whole downstairs. In fact, I missed my dinner. Of course, Mommy had some waiting for me when I came downstairs from my hidey-hole somewhere in the house.

Also, I concat Sampy on his DDP today! Woo-hoo, Sampy!!

Anyway, I can't believe where the time has gone! It's bedtime now!

STILL HANGING IN THERE

I'm the last one to report tonight. Mommy's been "camped" out on Channel 4 news which is updating the coverage on this nasty, windy lady called "Irene". She's blowing all her wind up and down the east coast from North Carolina to New Hampshire (I believe that's what they said).

We're supposed to get the brunt of this around midnight. Right now, the wind has died down. Guaranteed, it'll pick up. That's when we'll loose power, I'm very sure.

I send all my loud motor purrs to all in the path of Irene; us included. We're riding it out!

SUNDAY BELLY RUB SESSION

Mommy gave me a bunch of nice belly rubs this afternoon while I was laying on the dining room table (I like to lay here because the ceiling fan blows on top of me). Anyway, after she gave me these belly rubs, my tail flipped over the side of the table and I felt something swat at it. Of course, it was none other than Landy. I sat up and gave him a mean look. Then I counted to ten and decided I didn't want to fight with him. I let it go. Wasn't that nice of me??

Lastly, we had a three hour t-storm. It started around 12:30 and ended around 3:30 p.m. The first half wasn't as nasty. The second half was loud with lots of lightning. Our power flicked off for a second then went back on. Boy are we glad we didn't lose power!

That's about it from me. I'm tired. I think I'll sleep in the car carrier downstairs.

A VIEW FROM MY MOUNTAIN

When Mommy was eating her late breakfast, I jumped upon the kitchen cabinet which is located above the 'fridge. At five years old, I can still get up there with only two jumps; one from the floor to the little counter top near the 'fridge and then straight up to the cabinet above it. Of course, when I do this second part of my leap, I put my two front paws around the ledge of said top cabinet and hoist the rest of me up and over. She asked, "Merl why do you do this when the camcorder is upstairs?" I just stared at her . . .

Anyway, not much going on with me except I'm glad that it's a cooler weekend. It rained off and on yesterday and today. A few minutes ago we had a 20 minute downpour and now the sun's out. No t-storms today, though. Yesterday we had a t-storm.

Lastly, I'm so glad that our diaries are flea-free!
