Woo-Hoo! It's Salmon Sunday again! Yep, the salmon man was there and Mommy bought more salmon home.

This time, it was cooked differently than last time. There was some seasoning on top which Mommy liked and she had to pull it off us kitties shares and rinse them too. She didn't want us to get upset tummies from lemon pepper.

Anyway, we ate some of it for lunch and there's more left just like last Sunday! Can't wait for more!

Lastly, Uncle David came over yesterday to finish fixing Mommy's backyard deck (ten planks, railing and top step were rotten.) He did a pawsome job. Too bad Mommy doesn't let me out so I can check out the renovated deck.

Well, that's about it except Mommy's been drinking a lot of water and taking stronger blood pressure meds to help her kidney disease from progressing. She's depressed a lot as she's scared of it getting worse. The doctor has a lot of confidence that it'll stabilize. Purrs are needed anyways.

Wowza! I'm one of the Diary Picks today! How cool is that! Thank you so much, Diary Gal for honoring me this time around. I'm so glad I'm in the spotlight as I haven't been there in a while. It's been Joss and Landy.

I also thank my pawsome friends for their gifts and concats:

1. ANGEL BUDDIE & Family - pawsome pawmail;
2. GLEEK - cool comment;
3. ZEKE - cool comment;
4. MALLEE - cool comment;
5. BEAR & Family - yummy shrimp (I love seafood!)
6. IVY & MAC - cool beach ball;
7. ELSA - yummy ice cream cone;
8. SMILEY CASSANOVA - pawsome pawmail & cool comment on #1 pic.

Anyway, we had two small salmon parties yesterday! I was really thrilled and last night I was super affectionate to Mommy again (this was of course comforting her and thanking her for the two salmon parties).

Today is Monday and it's back to work for Mommy. Us kitties are still enjoying the lovely weather in the lower 80's. I wonder how long this will last. Usually August is super hot and humid around here.

Got to run.

Good news! The salmon man was at the Farmer's Market today! Apparently, he had another engagement at a market in Virginia last week.

We're so glad he was here again today! Again, I didn't take long coming downstairs to get my share! Last time (two weeks ago) I almost slept through the salmon pawty! Funny thing, Merl didn't want any. I can't understand him at all. Last few times, he ate some.

Anyway, there's still some left as Mommy had a small lunch because of a late breakfast. Now, she's going to have a late salmon dinner, and I'll be first in line!

Also, Mommy caught me a few times chewing on the new lacy bedroom curtains. I like the way it feels in my mouth and it tastes good. I also had done this with a ribbon around stuffed cat's neck. Mommy had to hide it from me. I don't know if she'll hide the curtains. More than likely she'll tie knots in the bottom like she did with the old ones.

Anyway, Mommy needs some purrs as she's had a rough year with her health. It's always something she's saying. 2013 has been the most scary year for her because of health scares and stress at work. All our motors are turned up high. Even I, came to her this morning and gave her a lot of wet nose rubs and purrs.

Well, I must get ready for that salmon.

No salmon pawty today! All of us were shocked to hear this sad news. Apparently, the man who cooked the salmon and beef menus at the Farmer's Market, had another engagement somewhere. Mommy found this out from the peach and tomato vendor. The salmon man does this sometimes. Hopefully, he'll be back next Sunday.

Because of this, Mommy ate at a Mexican restaurant downtown. Of course, us kitties don't do that kind of food as it's too spicey.

Lastly, Mommy gave me a nail trim. I didn't mind that too much as I'm getting used to it. After that, she groomed me and removed almost a whole cat bed (the bedestal) worth of floof. The pic of my combed out floof is on FB for all to see. Anyway, I do feel a lot cooler.

Well, that's all I have to say.

We had another salmon pawty today and it was yummy and pawsome! Whoever cooks that salmon at the Farmer's Market is the greatest cook of all times! Yummy, yummy, yummy!

Also, there are some serious photo fleas hopping about on my page. Mommy keeps getting those awful "page not found" messages when she uses the photo manager. It's a bummer!

Other than that, we had a sunny and hot day today. Our windows were open until a bit after the salmon pawty. Now they're closed and the AC is on. When it's humid and in the 90's you need the AC.

I can't wait until late September when it cools down a bit.

I can't believe that Joss has been living with us since almost late September! Of course, she was around 3 months old when she came on board. She is not a kitten anymore and is a teenaged cat! Look out world!!

She's still a wild one and loves to pick on all of us guys. She rules! She's the Queen. Queen Mae Mae. The Joss. She's not afraid of any of us and will stand her ground. Very confident and assertive too.

There's only two things she's afraid of and that's the vacuum cleaner (what cat isn't afraid of that howling and sucking monster!!) She's also shy of human strangers in the house. When Mommy's friends come over she introduces herself and then hides. A bit more brave than Merl, I'll say.

She's also a daredevil and very physical; does doorjamb jumps and slides down them like they were a fireman's pole. She tight walks the upstairs railing. Many may have seen her video on FB of her doing this. Mommy tried to add it to Catster. Unfortunately,there were a lot of video fleas hopping about. Maybe Mommy will try again.

Joss also loves to chase us guycats and wrestle with us too. She's not afraid of doing either. She also gives us all headbutts and licks only Sampy along with the headbutts.

I wish our sis a very happy birthday! Lastly, she was also a Last Chance Animal Rescue kitty just like I was. We're both lucky that Mommy adopted us!

That's about it from me. I'm signing off now.

Purrs & Breeps & have a great weekend, everycat!

Last night Mommy cooked two large chicken breasts in her convection oven. In fact, she cut each one in half so there were four good-sized pieces. On three of them she put a kick-tail seasoning and orange marmalade. On the fourth one, she only put a small amount of marmalade on the top to keep it moist.

Anyway, they all came out good. Our pieces were shared with me, Landy and Joss; Merl and Sampy slept through it. Of course, Mommy pulled off the marmalade topping of our chicken piece. She told me hers was yummy too!

Today, we finished off the chicken. This time Merl joined us and he couldn't get enough of it. Neither could I, in fact.

I'll tell you, chicken cooked in a convection oven tastes so yummy! All of us like it better than from the regular oven.

I can't wait until Mommy has another pawsome chicken pawty!

I hope everycat is having a pawsome Memorial Day weekend!

OMC!! It's been almost a month since I wrote anything! Unacceptable!! I can't believe how the time flies. I thought I wrote something last week.

Oh well . . .

Anyway, I'm doing fine and so's my sibs. Mommy did a photo shoot of Joss and me about an hour ago. We were both in the master bedroom window and in many of the pics you can see the background and how green everything is. Spring has finally arrived even though some days are a tad cooler than they should be. Maybe in June, it'll warm up.

Got to run and it's nearing bedtime.

"FURBEGONE" is a new multi-purpose pet fur removal tool that Mommy bought from Petco yesterday. It's long and has many rubber bristles which remove loose hair from cats and dogs and also furniture, stairs, cat trees and cat or dog beds. It's quite impressive!

At fist, Mommy tried it out on all of us kitties and we love it because its bristles massage our bodies. Secondly, she tried it on the floor wherein I have deposited a lot of my "floof balls" during the spring shed. She also tried it on the arm of the red chair where I love to lay upon, and the carpeted stairs and landings.

Today, she cleaned out our cat beds and cat trees! They look really nice and clean now! I can't wait to put down more floof just to watch her clean again with the Furbegone! He-He!

Anyway, other than that I've been feeling great and play games of tag with Joss.

Lastly, Mommy had an intestinal bug which is mostly gone now. She had to go to the doctors and she told Mommy to stay off work for a couple of days, to get some rest, take certain meds and drink lots of water, Gatorade, and to eat bland foods for those couple days.

She's doing much better this weekend as she had some energy yesterday to take Merl to the vet, go to the post office, gas up her car, and go to Petco to buy us food and that cool FURBEGONE brush. Her appetite is also returning. She told me bland food tastes yucky!

I'm also glad she's feeling better. Us kitties were great nurses and our purrs helped her toward a her speedy recovery.

Well, I'll be on my way to enjoy a sunny windowsill.

I'm shedding big time, everycat! Ever since Mother Nature turned up the outdoors thermostat, my floof is steadily falling out in big balls. Mommy has to vacuum extra because of this or in between, pick up by hand, said gray balls of floof.

Mommy calls this the springtime shed. It's not only affecting me but Joss too. Mommy has to pick up black balls of floof. The shorhair's (Merl and Landy) fur only comes out when combed or when they get in a tussle with each other or the rest of us. Also, Joss has lost a lot of her curly red ruff.

Also,we had the windows open last week because it was warm. Unfortunately, Friday's nasty T-storm ended that pleasure. The cold will be with us until Wednesday. It's been around 60 degrees this weekend when it reached into the 70's last week.

Anyway, sorry for not writing in some time. We've been busy and Mommy's schedule has been tight and she's not been feeling well lately. She made an appointment with her primary care physician because her blood pressure has been rising. She was given an EKG which showed a lot of heart palpitations. The doctor said they looked benign but wanted to double check so she had her come back for an echocardiogram on Saturday and to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours.

Mommy takes the thing off in an hour and a half and can't wait. It's the size of her IPhone and she has wires hooked up to her which are taped onto her chest and sides. She also has to wear a belt to hold the device in place so it won't drop anywhere or us kitties get at it to chew the wires. Also, the tape is itching her like crazy. She thinks she has an adhesive allergy.

Anyway, Mommy needs purrs for her heart. She's a constant worrier and prays that she doesn't have heart disease like Sampy or worse. If these palpitations turn out to be arrythmias (sp?. . . none of us can spell this tricky word) she will need to be put on some medication to help keep these at bay.

Well, that's about it. I'm going to turn up my motor for Mommy. All of us have and we've been hanging around her whenever she's not on the computer.
