I BETTER GO BACK UNDER THE BED . . .

I better go back under the bed as it's safer there. First, I was sitting in the hallway and Mommy stepped next to me and in doing so, some of my tail floof got under her foot. I hissssssssssssed at her and took off part way down the stairs. Then along came Landy who tossed a toy mouse past me down the stairs. Geeeeeeeeeee, can't I do anything without all this collision course traffic in this house!! YIKES!!

Lately, I've been hiding under the bed every morning. Mommy asked me why I was doing this and I never answered her question. All I can say is that there's less Landy traffic at that time. Sure I love the guycat, but he's hyper before he eats and tears through the house like a crazy. I don't want to be in his path.

Well, that's it. I just thought I'd write about this to get it off my hairy chest!

CONCATS MERL ON BEING COTD!!

As everycat now knows, Merl is COTD! He's getting a lot of attention which he loves, believe me! I was COTD at one time, and loved it too! It's a pawsome feeling! Warm and fuzzy all over (hey, I'm warm and fuzzy bodywise anyway).

Anyhow, it's a three day weekend and we're all on "staycation". Mommy has a barbeque tomorrow to attend which she is looking forward to. Other than that, she's cleaning up "stuff" around the house. She also has to go to the grocery store later on.

A LAZY DAY

It's been a lazy day for me. All I did today was sleep in the middle of Mommy's bed. The window is open but it's been too hot and sunny to sleep on the window perch (it's got a fleece cover). I think Mommy needs to make us a summer cover for that thing! Hint, hint, hint!

Well, it's back to bed. Not much going on right now. Y-A-W-N!!

ANOTHER MOTH IN THE HOUSE

There's another moth in our house. Three of us (me, Landy & Merl) tried to catch the thing a couple days ago. I'm the one who jumped up and tried to scoop it up with my front paws. I missed!!! *&&%%! The silly bug outsmarted all of us and stayed on the wall above the stairway where none of us could reach it! Someday, I'll get it, I know. It just has to fly low and not sit on the walls or ceiling.

Anyway, not much else going on except on and off rainy spells all week. It's supposed to clear up this weekend. I hope it does.

A PAWSOME FRIDAY AND SATURDAY!!

I'll start with last night; we had a chicken pawty and that was yummy! A bit after the chicken pawty, I went upstairs and found my desert . . . a moth! It was flapping around in the master bedroom, I brought it down in mid-flight. It was cupped under my two front paws when Mommy walked into the room. She asked, "what do you have there?" I moved my head lower and moved one paw so she could see my prey. I then gobbled the insect up! YUMMY! That's after dinner mint for a cat!! Of course, Mommy would rather have a real mint. She told me she was glad I got the moth as that thing was flying around in the bathroom a few days ago and may have been the same one Landy was trying to catch earlier.

Anyway, I concat Sampy on his DDP today. Way to go, bro. I also admit he's sporting one weird fur-do!

Well, speaking of hair, I'm going to go now and let Mommy try to tame her frizzies!! She's going to flat iron them. Whatever that is. I love my fluff even if some of it curls on me.

ENJOY MY NEW PICS

I have five or six new pics which were taken on Mother's Day. Yep, I let Mommy do a photo shoot of me on her special day.

Also, there's a fun pic which was done a few weeks ago with Mommy's Scrapbook Factory Deluxe #5. If any of you can't read the caption it says, "OMC, too much nip!" The other new pic with a caption says, "I'm watching the birdie". My last new pic is captioned, "thhffft" I felt like sticking out my tongue at the end of the photo shoot. Enjoy my pics!

Also, Sampy's doing great, and he's running up and down the stairs. No more sauntering down them like an old mancat and no more falling episodes either! Way to go, bro. I believe all your purrs helped him get back on track!

Lastly, we're having weather made in heaven all this week. Unfortunately, it's supposed to rain on the weekend! That stinks! Mommy would rather have a couple of those rainy days during the work week.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

I wish everycats' mommies a very Happy Mother's Day! Give your Mommies extra purrs, wet nose rubs, kneads, whisker tickles, sandpaper kissies, and cuddles on her special day, purrlease!!

It's been hectic around here all week with Sampy and his scheduled cardiology appointment on Monday and his not being able to walk after he was given a sedative on that day. Everycat knows that he had to spend the day in the ER on Thursday for observation, heart monitoring, bloodwork, and oxygen (for a safety precaution). The cardiologist found everything was normal, and he thinks the sedatives he gave Sampy are taking longer to get out of his system.

He had one falling episode last night, Mommy told me and he had another one this morning. We want this all to go away! This is not how Sampy walks normally. I'm sure he's distressed about this too! I remember when Yingy bit me on one of my legs,it caused me to limp and walk like an old mancat. It's not fun when you can't walk like you normally do. Mommy can vouch for this as her right knee makes her walk like a 100 year old human.

Well, I too feel badly for my big bro, Sampy and hope and pray that his falling issues go away ASAP!

Lastly, we're trying to put up some Mother's Day pics we have somehwere in our photo collection. I know Sampy and I have them.

HEY, IT'S THE BAIL!

I just wanted everycat to know I'm doing fine, and in fact, I decided to eat some moist food last night (Blue Buffalo turkey/chicken). I didn't eat much of it, but it was an attempt.

Also, I was good to Cam on her birthday; I ignored her. That's what she wants anyway.

Also, Sampy's doing fine as everycat has heard.

HAPPY FRIDAY!

I wish everycat a happy Friday! There's no more holidays until Memorial day so that page decor will be the next one. Mommy's been changing our pages slowly this time. We haven't been on here this week much because of storms and her being too tired when she gets off work. I pawmise the rest of the Easter pics will be changed.

Anyway, she managed to load new pics for Sampy, Landy and I. These are from the photo shoot last weekend. Enjoy!!

THREE SETS OF GREEN EYES . . .

First of all, I extend my Happy Easter wishes to everycat and their families! I hope the Easter bunny was good to all and hope the weather is nice too. In our neck of the woods, we're having a day made in heaven today. It's beautiful, sunny and warm (so far).

Sampy went outside this morning when Mommy took out the garbage. Landy, Merl and I wanted to go out too. When she tried to get back in the house, we had the door blocked. She saw three sets of green eyes staring back at her. Our eyes, pleaded, "let us me-out too!" Of course, she managed to squeeze back in without us pulling a great escape.

Believe me, I wanted to bolt out the door like I did in the past. I wanted to feel that grass on my footsies and listen to the birdies and sniff the purrty pink flowers blooming in the front yard. I wanted to walk up to the dog next door and talk because I know this dog and I have something in common and that's our LOVE for chicken!!! Yep, her Daddy gives her chicken too! 'tis a bummer as none of this ever happened. We had to stay inside and settle for open windows. Mommy is a strict lady sometimes!

Anyway, I suppose I could use a nap right now. I think I'll lay on top of the kitty castle which is below the window at bottom landing of the stairs. A lot of sun comes in this window and is one of my fav spots to nap.
