MOMMY, IT'S MY YOGA POSITION!

July 13th 2006 5:07 am
[ Leave A Comment ]

I forgot to mention this one. Ever since I was a kitten, my Mommy found me laying in a very funny position. Daddy Rob's cat Maxx does the same thing.

We lay flat on our tummies and flip our back legs backwards flat on the floor with feet tilted back too and tail tucked between the legs. The impression is a "bear rug" type kitty!

Mommy calls me "backwards feet Bail". Someday, she's going to take a picture of me doing this and, of course, it will be added to my website for all to see. Maybe, this is a Maine Coon trait. Maxx is also a Maine Coon.

But I call it my yoga position. It helps me relax!

I did this today on the living room rug.

Got to go now. Merl is breathing down my back saying he discovered something really neat!

Breep to all my Catster Buddies and speaking of Buddie, I hope you're doing better and on the road to recovery!

RULES FOR MOMMY TO ABIDE BY

Hey, it's the Bail and Mommy's always giving us rules. Well, I am giving her my list of rules:

1. Feed us bigger pieces of salmon;
2. Feed us more chicken;
3. Clean our litter boxes more often. Once or twice a day isn't enough. Remember, there's three of us using them;
4. Don't stay out so late on Saturday's. It's your day off and you should be
here with us not out with Daddy Rob. Have him come over here to stay;
5. Leave the cellar door open. We want to explore down there;
6. No more baths;
7. No more nail trims;
8. Leave all closets open as we like to explore and sleep in them. We may
even want to swing from your clothes; and
9. I don't care where you have to go to get it, but PLEASE get me some
more Iams Catfish flavor moist food.

Anyhoo,that's my list and I'm getting a little tired.

Breep to all my Catster friends!

I'LL DANCE FOR SALMON

Mommy had another salmon party and I am the one who begs the most for it. In fact, I rose up on my haunches and hugged Mommy's legs with my two front paws. She said, "Bail, are you going to dance with me for some salmon?"

I breeped at her and gave her that innocent look. As she handed me a piece of salmon, I almost took her fingers off along with it! I got to learn not to be so aggressive when it comes to salmon. I just can't help it. I want it all! I know, I'm a greedy kitty when it comes to salmon. I just love the stuff!

Other than that, it's another hot day. No open windows tonight unless the temperature drops below 70 degrees.

Got to go now, my brothers have turns also (this time I'm not greedy)

Breep to all my Catster friends!

A LAZY MONDAY NIGHT AND MY GOOD DEED FOR THE DAY

Merl and I are on the blue rug in the computer room. Merl is out like a light, but I am still awake and dictating this. Sampy is on the floor in the hall and he's napping. Gee, I'm the only one awake besides Mommy!

What shall I talk about tonight? I just left the room for a few minutes to check up on . . . . . nothing. I just wanted to sleep on the stairway top landing.

Mommy called me to come back, but I don't want to. I can hear the Celtic Nights CD playing (the one with the birds chirping in it) better from the landing. I'm in the mood for some mellow music tonight.

I'll talk about one thing and that is a very good deed I did a few minutes ago. I gave, Buddie, Please Pray for Me, a rosette. I really like this guy and I want him to get well. In fact, we're all praying for him to get well.

That's all I have to say now. I'm really tired and I'll hand it over to Sampy who just woke up.

Breep to everybody in the Catster world!

HISS TO YOU MOMMY!!!!!

Mommy, not again! I warned you last time with a very firm GROWL! I told you I didn't like my nails trimmed and I meant it then and I mean it now!

I am not a hissy kitty, but you stretched the limits with me as you did all four paws and all nails! I hissed loud and clear twice and that should have meant "back off", but no, you kept on trimming away. I then growled and squiggled and wiggled and then I did the good old rabbit kicks to both of your hands. I was ready to bite and that's when I told myself to not go that far as I never, ever bit my Mommy. I only did love bites in the past and that was like being bitten with styrofoam teeth.

And before I knew it, she let me down. I'm proud of myself that I didn't bite my Mommy. I will never bite my Mommy.

Well, now I'm all calmed down and sitting on the blue blankie licking one of my front legs.

It's a nice day today (weatherwise) and Cammie came home around 1:30 p.m. and had lunch instead of breakfast. I don't know what's up with that girl. All I know is Mommy saw her in Daria's yard and Daria and her dog Mootsie are away for the weekend so I guess Cammie decided to stay in her yard overnight and overslept. I don't know. She's a strange one.

Anyhoo, I got to go now and more (yes more photos are coming this way some time between now and 11:00 p.m.)

BREEEEEP to call my Catster friends and the new ones we all made this weekend!

TIRED BAIL AND I DON'T FEEL TOO GOOD

July 8th 2006 10:09 am
[ Leave A Comment ]

What a party last night! We made some new friends and got in about 1:15 am. and called it a night. When I first woke up, I was okay and then not so. I went under Mommy's bed in the computer room to take a nap while she did Sampy and Merl's entries.

A couple of hours later I woke up and threw up on the rug. I feel not that great and I went downstairs for a few minutes and came back upstairs and went back under the bed. You see, while I was downstairs, I gackled up this gross slimy hairball on the kitchen windowsill. I think that's part of my problem. I hope that's all it was.

Merl crawled under the bed to check up on me and he told me that Cammie didn't come home yet. Now I'm worried about her. So's Sampy (even though he didn't mention it).

MOMMY'S NOTE: "I haven't seen Cammie this morning and I'm worried too. She pulled this once this week and came home for dinner only. I certainly hope she comes back home then or in fact right now!"

Well, I am going back to sleep and hope to feel better when I wake up.

BREEP to all my Catster friends and my new friends made last night.

I'M WITH SAMPY!

Sampy's idea is great and I'm all for it.

I got my blue coat all fluffed out and I'm ready to party. I love making new friends and handing out rosettes. I give rosettes to cats who are having a tough time with their health and I feel they need something comforting like a rosette and some prayers. I'm going to give rosettes to any cool looking cats and pretty girl cats. If I can find a cat who likes rock and folk-rock music, they will get a rosette from me too.

Well, I must go join my brothers and we're ready to hunt down some more friends!

YES, I'M A HERO AND WE HAD A SMALL CHICKEN PARTY TONIGHT

July 6th 2006 5:57 pm

Merl is a silly little guy! He went around all this morning calling me his hero because I scooped up his feather toy out of the water dish. He's so cute and funny! I just humored him and thanked him and told him that he made my day by calling me a hero. If I were a super hero cat, I'd be called:

SUPER BAIL! SUPER CAT! THE AMAZING FLUFF! I really can't think of a super hero cat that was on tv. They had one about a dog "UNDERDOG" but how about us cats? They even had a mouse, "MIGHTY MOUSE" but still no cats? It's not fair!!

Anybody out there know of any super hero cats? Help me out.

Well, so much for that subject. We had a chicken party tonight. That was enjoyable as always.

I got to cut it short as Sampy is breeeep maroooooowlllling at the door so he can do his entry.

Later and breep to all my Catster buddies.

TODAY AND ONLY TODAY

July 5th 2006 6:38 pm

Hey, it's the Bail and my brothers covered the whole storm so they left nothing for me so I'll talk about today. We got our electricity back and I'm glad so I can listen to some good music. I like CD's instead of radio.

Anyhoo, Merl was bad again so Mommy had to put him out of the computer room. He jumped upon the end table, fell back down into a tangle of cords and Mommy had to get him out of there. She didn't want him getting stuck in the cords or chewing on them. Sampy's in charge of babysitting Merl while I sit in here and dictate.

Merl is on the other side of the door breeeeeping and breeeeemeooooowing to be let back in. He hates closed doors. I guess I'll cut this one short and give the little guy a few footsies through the door crack.

Got to go now, and Breep to all my Catster friends

The big bad Bail with the fluffy tail! =^..^= ( me); and *^..^* (girl cat wearing earrings); ~~~~^..^~~~~ (long curly whiskered kitty). I also like Merl's one =^00^= (wide-eyed cat on catnip)
~~~~^..^~~~~ *^..^* =^..^= from us all!!
OLD PHOTOS OF THE BAIL; AND CD'S OH MY!!!
July 4th 2006 12:39 pm
[ Leave A Comment ]
When, Mommy got me, her camera was broken and she used those disposible cameras to take my pictures. One of them is the main picture on my website. I think there is another one and she has to find it. She has two rolls of film that haven't been developed yet and maybe I'm on them. I hope.
So all the good photos of me are done with the digital camera which is good because it captures all of my good looks!
Now, of a change of subject. Before I dictated this I was laying in my new cat tree just listening to some of Mommy's CD's playing (no the 75 foot long tail didn't eat them - Merl with his silly imagination, heh!) She had on the following alternating:
1. The Long Black Veil by the Chieftans - Celtic group in which various rock stars and Celtic singers get together on this one: Sting, Mick Jagger, Marianne Faithful, Sinead O'Connor. This is excellent! Check it out!
2. Here Comes the Neighbourhood by Lindisfarne (yes, yes, yes. I love them!) a very well done CD; all songs are great, the harmonies and intrument selection: mandolin, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, drums, harmonica. Highlight of this album is "Born at the Right Time" which should be the theme song for every Baby Boomer (Mommy and her friends included).
3. The third one is Celtic Nights by Nightsound which I already reviewed about a month ago. It's great and loaded with wild bird sounds. Cats will love this one.
Well, I got to go now and Mommy's going to turn into a computer if she doesn't take a break from it today. She'll be at the computer all day at work the rest of the week too.
Breep to all my Catster buddies and Catsters and enjoy the rest of your 4th of July holiday!
Bail =^..^=
