MOMMY'S CONFUSED: ONE DAY SHE CALLS ME A MEREKAT, ANOTHER- DAY, ETC.

Mommy called me a merekat yesterday and I asked her why.

She told me because of the way I sit up for salmon. I rise up on my haunches and hold my two front legs close to my chest. Mommy's that's called "begging" it's not that I'm a merekat!

And when I sun myself in the windows or cat tree near the window she calls me a "ring-tailed lemur". On Easter she called me the gray Easterbunny because I hop down the stairs.

Good grief Mommy I thought I was a cat not a shapeshifter!!

And then she and Mary called Merl a dog one day so I guess I'm not alone in this morphing thing.

Anyhoo, I just thought I'd share this piece of info with everybody. Cats have traits of other animals sometimes fur textures, nothing else.

Like Daddy Rob calls his cat Maxx a monkey not that he looks like one, but that he acts like one. Get my point?

Got to go now and we'll hear from Sampy later today. He's presently sleeping in his cat carrier which he sometimes uses as a bed.

Breep to all my catster friends.

p.s. I think I'll stop by Nipsfield Park with Merl for a little bit.

FALLING LEAVES IN THE HOUSE!!!

"Hey Mommy where are all these leaves in the house coming from?" I asked Mommy.

"Bail, baby, they stick to my shoes when I go outside and also to Sampy's tail and/or britches when he goes out. We both bring them back in with us."

"Oh"

A little dialoging entry today for a change of pace.

How about a short poem about the leaves:

When the autum leaves begin to fall;
Bailey Gray Cloud plays with all;
I play and play until I'm done;
Playing with leaves is always fun!

I made this one up as I found a loose oak tree leaf lying on the kitchen floor. I picked it up in my mouth and ran across the floor full speed ahead into the living room. Mommy asked me what did I have and I told her it was a leaf.

So that's my excellent adventure for today. I love playing with leaves. I love they way they go crunchy, crunchy when I bat them and/or carry them in my mouth. I do not eat them.

Got to go now. Mommy was extra nice to me this morning and let me do a longer and cuter entry. Got to keep the diary readers satisfied!

Breep to all my Catster friends

GREETINGS FROM THE BIG BAD BAIL WITH THE FLUFFY TAIL

I know, I know. It's late.

I had a pretty good day and did a lot of sunbathing in the windows.

Mommy came home from her barbeque/picknic with her Dad, et al. and didn't get back until after 9:00 p.m.

She helped Sampy with his diary and fell ASLEEP after it was done. Hey, Mommy, where's my help?

Anyhoo, there is not much to report today except Mommy doesn't have to work this whole week! More Mommy for us!

I got to go now. Breep to all my Catster friends.

MY SATURDAY

Yeah, I know it's late. Saturdays are very unpredictable as to when all of our entries get done.

Sampy was the one who went early. Also, I had Sampy, Cammie and Merl come with me to Nipsfield Park. We had a BLAST!!! Such a nice place Colleen has here.

I understand Ripley stopped by later and I'm sorry I missed him.

Now, I'm at home and I just had some Iams Ocean Fish and I'm feeling full.
I'm sitting in the window listening to the choir of crickets. . . chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp . . .

I must go now and let my cute little brother take over . . .

Breep to all my Catster friends and good night!

PLAY, DO YOGA AND EAT

Play, do yoga and eat,
Play, do yoga and eat,
When I get done I wash my feet.
Play, do yoga and eat.

This morning I started out early at 5:30 a.m. by grabbing one of my catnip toys and rabbit kicking the daylights out of it! After that I ran into the crinkle tunnel and dug around in it (no I wasn't going to use it as a litterbox). I jumped back out and ran downstairs where I did my yoga position on the living room floor and when I got done with that, I groomed myself, came back up here, dictated this to Mommy, and told her to type fast as I am HUNGRY!

FEED ME NOW!!!!

I think that got her attention. It's BREAKFAST TIME and I asked for some catnip for desert.

Mommy said, "we'll see."

Got to run now as I'm drooling hungry.

Breep to all my Catster friends and I hope everyone has a happy Friday!

IT'S A NOT MUCH GOING ON THURSDAY

I'm just laying around and doing nothing. I did my yoga position a few times today to make me feel better.

Merl jumped me earlier . . . right on the butt . . . I'm not in the mood to have him jumping on me.

I just want to do my yoga tonight and drift off to some music.

There's no moths to chase, no flies nor ants. The crickets are still chirping and they're all outside.

This morning I eyeballed the open back door when Mommy let Sampy out. I don't dare try escaping while she's super alert like this.

About an hour ago somebody's dog was barking and howling outside.

So, it's a not much going on Thursday and also the "My Accounts" button isn't working properly.

Sorry, I'm not that chipper as I usually am. I'm tired, no poetry tonight nor any lovesick prose. I'm just toooooooo tired . . .

Nappy time is calling . . . BREEP to all my Catster friends

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DREAM

September 6th 2006 3:56 am

I had the most beautiful dream last night. Colleen and I were at Nipfields Park and we walked side by side, paw in paw. We strolled slowly through the little path that wound through fields of daisies and other wild flowers. A soft summer breeze blew about us and we talked and talked and talked. We talked about the foods we like, our Mommy's, our adventures at home, silly things my brothers and sister do. I shared with her my adventures at cat shows and I brought with me a small boombox CD player and played nothing but Irish music for her.

We danced . . . we danced like in Riverdance!

Then I woke up dancing . . . . the dream still in my head . . . such a pleasant dream . . .

Then Merl was in my face wanting to play because he saw me jumping around . . .

Got to go now and breep to all my Catster friends.

A POURING RAINY TUESDAY

September 5th 2006 3:56 am

I'm glad I'm a cat and don't have to go to work, especially on a day like today. IT'S POURING!!! No grass-cutting guy today. Meanwhile the grass is growing because all the rain we had on Friday, part of Sunday and today.

I'm still dreaming of Colleen and I saw her for a little bit at Nipsfield Park along with Rocky Ann and Violet. We all talked and had great food (everybody brought along something). We had some catnip and played a game of "tag you're it". It was quite an excellent adventure and of course Colleen was there. It was a dream come true! And also, there were no dogs there. I ought to have Sampy and Merlin join too. Perhaps I'll have them tag along this coming weekend.

Got to go now. You know how it is with these early morning weekday entries, Mommy has to get ready for the terrible four letter word WORK!

Breep to everybody and if it's raining where you're at, stay dry!

WE GOT SIX ROSETTES LEFT - GOT TO DISBURSE THEM - CAN'T WASTE THEM

Tonight I think will be a good night to get rid of a few more rosettes. I'll split them three tonight and three tomorrow night. The next night we get a fresh batch!!!

I love giving out rosettes. Sampy says not to hog them like I'm doing with the salmon around here.

Got to go now speaking of salmon!

Breep at you later.

A PLAY SESSION IN THE KITTY BARN AND THEN A TRIP TO- NIPSFIELD PARK

September 4th 2006 9:01 am

It's a busy day for the Bail. Merl and I were actually playing in the kitty barn Mommy got us from WalMart. I was inside and then Merl was outside. We gave each other "high-fives" through its doorway entrance. Merl was so silly. He bopped me and then he jumped into the air a foot and let out the loudest and longest BREEP and ran across the length of the living room. Silly guy. That ended our little game in the barn.

Later this morning Mommy packed me a cooler basket of lemon salmon, toast, water, and of course some catnip. I just joined a group called Nipsfield Park started by Colleen (the girl of my dreams). I'm going in hopes of seeing her there. Wish me luck.

I know it's a holiday weekend and perhaps she and her family went to the beach.

Anyway, I'll keep everybody posted on how it went.

Breep for now my Catster friends and congrats to Colleen for making Diary Pick of the Day!
