CONCATS BAIL, ETC.

First of all, I concat Bail on another DDP! I think the Diary Gal has the hots for him!

Also, our Flip video camcorder is WORKING!!! Woo-Hoo! Bail is the first Catster in our family to get a video on his page. Of course, he's plastered all over FB! Landy and Merl made it there too! Now, purrlease Mommy make movies of us seniors (Cam and I)!

After I said this she told me, that she's going to try load up my long (1.25 MB)video. Hopefully, it'll load up. In this one, I talk to Mommy (meow once). She dialogues the rest!


Anyway, we're dealing with a hot and humid weekend. At least it's not as hot as Thursday's 102 degrees. Yep, the 'dog days" of June! Starting Monday, it'll cool down and the humidity will drop. Mommy has to flat iron her hair because of this humidity. She told me she looks like "Curly Sue's" Mom.

BUMMER!!!

Mommy got the video camera to take nice videos of Landy, Merl and I. Then she loaded them into the computer with no problem. When she tried to load them (mine) onto Facebook, there were hassels with the pop-up bocker. She then fixed it so FB would be able to receive the pop-up from Flip video and it still wouldn't work. She kept getting a big orange fist saying "Pop-up was allowed" and still it wouldn't allow the pop-up video-loading box. Also, with Catster, she went to the video page and it let her browse for the video, she got the video information in the browser window and then the submit button woudn't let her click on it. Also, there were some strange stuff written at the top of the video page that it didn't recognize her and she was already logged in. She's bummed, to say the least.

I let her take a nice movie of me playing with my catnip cigar while she was trying to change the linen on her bed. I then meowed at her and groomed myself. It was a good 100 mb long of me being me!!! We're so sad that nobody else can enjoy my little movie. We wanted so much to share it!

Is anycat familiar with Flip Video? It says on the instruction booklet that you can send videos to FB, YouTube, Twitter and even email them to friends.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Mommy's been saying this all morning. She's ready to return the device!

On another note, the weatherman lied. We haven't seen the sun yet today! That stinks!!

Well that's about it. I'm going back to bed.

WE'RE GOING TO FLIP!!!

Mommy bought something called a "Flip" video camera. She took a few videos, one with me meowing but it was too short so she deleted it. She went outside and took a video of the one blooming azalea bush and also one of the hydrangea (sp?). She was going to load them into the computer to no avail as the battery needed charging (it came from the store with a little bit of charge in it). Tomorrow, will be the day for cat videos.

Mommy's not sure if these will work on Catster but they are supposed to work on FB and UTube. We'll see tomorrow.

Also, Mommy made some fancy summer pictures for our pages. Those will be loaded up tomorrow.

Lastly, my eye is better. Maybe it wasn't pink eye this time around.

Well, that's about it. It's medication time and time for bed after that.

YUMMY,CORNBREAD AND OTHER SUBJECTS

Mommy had some cornbread in the house and she offered Landy and I a few crumbs. Both of us ate them and wanted more. She gave us another small taste. So that's another thing Landy and I have in common.

Also, today is in the mid 90's without any rain so we had the AC turned on. Now we're feeling cooler. You can tell summer's near even though it technically isn't until later next month.

Anyway,I'm tired and so's Mommy. She's been busy taking summer clothes out of the big trunk in the spare bedroom and putting the winter clothes back in there. It's a time consuming and hard job for her so she always does this on Memorial weekends. All the smaller storage spots (suitcases and duffle bags)have been gone through earlier in the week. She found a lot of clothes that were too small so she got rid of them on Saturday. She accumulated another 2 1/2 bags of unwanted clothes today which she'll take to AmVets next weekend. She told me, "there's no sense in keeping tons of old clothes that she can't wear anymore."

Lastly, our angel, Jasmine Bibette would have been 19 today had she not journeyed to the Bridge in 2005. Sure I miss her and wish her a happy birthday at the Bridge. Also, I used to chase her a lot when she was here. If she came downstairs, I chased her back upstairs. She was known as the upstairs kitty because of me.

Anyway, that's about it from me. I hope everycat and their pawrents have enjoyed their Memorial Day weekend.

CONCATS MERL!!

Way to go, Merl on being COTD! He's so happy about this; he even smiled at me (which he rarely does). I'm glad he's happy, really I am! Thank you HQ for making his day!

I also thank my cool friend HENRY for the yummy watermelon which surely came in handy for this hot weather!

Also, I have bad news about me. That nasty Pink Eye Bandit is back! My right eye is pink rimmed and leaking stuff! Mommy saw this last night so she put more ointment in it. I can't understand why it keeps coming back. I haven't gone outside since before I got shaved for the echocardiogram. Do the pink eye germs fly in the open windows?? Does anycat know if this is true? Why is it me who's prone to this awfulness???

Other than the pink eye, I'm fine. I don't fall down and walk like a drunk human anymore. That has long been resolved. We're still not sure what it was except for an adverse reaction to the sedatives I was given. I'm not used to getting heavy duty drugs like those and they really zapped me out for a long time.

Anyway, I wish everycat and their families a most pawsome and safe Memorial Day weekend!!!

I SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM AND OTHER SUBJECTS . . .

It's been a busy weekend for Mommy; shopping, laundry, and going through winter and summer clothes that she plans on donating because they don't fit or she got tired of them. She's also been shredding loads of junk mail. She told me they ought to ban junk mail as it's too much work to get rid of now-a-days as you have to pull off your name, etc. and shred it so nobody steals your identity. She wishes it was like in the past wherein you could just toss the junk mail and not worry anymore.

So far, she has almost filled one 13 oz bag with shredded junk mail along with envelopes and return envelopes for same. She also filled two plastic bags with clothes that she's going to donate to AmVets next weekend.

Also, when Mommy took a lunch break, she had ice cream for desert. Of course, I wanted some. She only gave me a little taste of the vanilla portion of the mixed berries/granola ice cream. Pawrents!!!

Also, I'm still doing great except I don't let Landy mess with me too much as my fur hasn't grown back on my chest and sides. When he bunny kicks me there, it's really tender. I think he finally got the message as I hiss and growl at him whenever he tries to wrestle with me. Because he needs a wrestling partner, he's been pouncing on Merl instead. Geee, he's brave as Merl is 16.30 lbs and is very strong. Their wrestling matches always end up with Merl chasing him under the chair or up the stairs.

Other than that, we've had a no rain weekend so far. Earlier today, it looked like it was going to rain, but didn't.

Well, that's it from me. I'll let Mommy get back to shredding her junkmail.

ADDITIONAL THANK YOU

I have an additional thank you and that goes to GINGER for the share the love rosette. Unfortunately, the gifts I got today and yesterday, won't open up when I click on them. Likewise for all my furmily's gifts. I suppose there's some Catster rosette fleas hopping around. Is this happening to anycat else?

Also, two nights in a row, we had T-storms. At least most of today was nice and sunny. Also, Mommy decided to stay home so she could catch up on housework that was long overdue because of my being sick and going to the ER and the recuperation thereafter.

When she got done vacuuming the whole house, she decided to watch the DVD "Hereafter". We didn't get to see the whole movie because of the T-storm. When the storm was over, we fell asleep on the couch and didn't get up until after 8:00 p.m.

Anyway, it's medication time again before I go back to bed.

A PAWSOME SATURDAY!

The best ingredient for a pawsome Saturday is being Diary Pick of the Day! Thank you Diary Gal for selecting me as one of the diaries. I suppose she like's guycats with weird hairdo's. It looks like I'll be a punk-rocker kitty for several months or whatever it takes my chest and underarms fluff to grow back! Also, I'm wearing an Ugg boot on one of my rear feet.

PEACH FUZZ

My bald chest and armpits feel like peach fuzz according to Mommy; also like a Spynx cat. She touched that area and I was warm like a hot water bottle. Spynx kitties feel that way too. Purrhaps that's why Landy clings to and nuzzles me in my bald spots.

Also, it itches as new growth is coming in. I'm forever licking and licking and licking.

Anyway, I still want meowtings and Mommy won't let me out especially since I've been bald and just recovered from the falling issues.

In the meantime, windows are open during this lovely spring weather we've been having all week. Tomorrow the nasty rain is supposed to arrive and hang around for the weekend and into next week.

Well, that's it. Breakfast is going to be served soon.

SLOWLY BUT SURELY

Slowly but surely, the falling issues are going away. I fell only once today and that was about two hours ago. It was on the computer room floor again.

Also, I've been walking faster and once I even galloped. I've been up and down the stairs with no problems either.

Sooooo, everycat, thank you so much for the purrs. They work!

Lastly, I hope everycats' Mommies had a very special day today. We were good to Mommy and let her take some pawsome pics of us. Even stubborn Merl posed about four times. These pics will be added to our pages some time this week. Mommy loaded them into the computer already.

Well, it's nap time now. The sandman is calling me.
