I lost all my Fun Stuff on Catster tonight! Those of you whose badges I had on my page, please know that I would never delete them. I guess the problem with the Fun Stuff wasn't fixed when Mom was testing out a new background. It all went poof! :(

I want to take this time to tell all my friends how much you have meant to me. You were there before, during, and after my fight with CRF. You will never know how much your friendship has meant to me and my family. We are at a loss with the closing of Catster.

If anyfur would like to stay in touch, please let me know.

Much love,

Tigger Angel

A new game so let's get playing!! This is open to anybuddy who wants to play, as well as those tagged. Thank you Tink for tagging me!

1. Describe one thing your pet pawrent does that you think is REALLY CUTE.

When I was on Earth, my mom would let me rest and sleep inside her robe. She'd open her robe and I would climb inside. Both of us thought it was precious!

2. Describe one thing your pet pawrent does that you think is REALLY LAME.

My mom wouldn't let me eat all kinds of different human foods like I wanted to do!

Then tag 5 more!

Introducing Sebastian!

Dear Friends,

Mom and Dad have opened their hearts and home to a foster kitty, whom they will adopt permanently if all goes well. His name is Sebastian (Mom picked out his name.) Please welcome him to Catster as you have all the other members of my family. :)

Sebastian hails from San Jose, California. He is a sweet outdoor kitty who befriended a friend of my parents, about six months ago. She already has a kitty, and could not take him. She was concerned about what would happen to Sebastian, being an outdoor kitty and all, so she asked for Mom's help to place him. He is so sweet and loving that she was looking for an indoor living situation for him.

Mom volunteers for a cat sanctuary and tried to help find a placement for Sebastian in the San Jose area, but all the no-kill rescues in the area were full up, or had long waiting lists. Then, Mom's friend found out she might be leaving California very soon. This added to the urgency for Sebastian to be placed. That is when Mom asked Dad if they could foster-to-adopt Sebastian. Dad right away said yes!

Their friend brought Sebastian up to Placerville on Wednesday. He is now staying in the back hall and bedroom area. He has plenty of room. :) He is an absolute sweetie! He loves attention 24x7.

For health and safety reasons, Dad and Mom put up a tall pet gate with overlapping cardboard panels on it, to separate him from my siblings. He has already been to the vet in San Jose and was given his first round of vaccines, including a FeLV vaccine, and he was given a FeLV/FIV test. He tested negative for FeLV and FIV. He will be getting his second round of boosters this Wednesday, and will have a fecal exam on Thursday.

Once he gets a clean bill of health, he will be slowly introduced to Pippin, Marmelade and Midge. Mom and Dad will remove the cardboard panels from the pet gate first, so they can see each other, then after a day or two, Sebastian will meet my siblings up close and in purrson! This is where our Catster friends come in. Please purr that Pippin, Marmelade, Midge and Sebastian, tolerate each other! Mom and Dad aren't asking for miracles, but they hope they will at least get along. :)

I'll keep you posted!

Love and purrs,

Tigger Angel Baby

Mom is missing me very badly

Dear Friends,

My mom could use purrs. She is really missing me terribly. It was a month on the 6th since I journeyed to the Bridge. The shock has worn off and it's all so final now. When she looks at my pictures she cries. She was doing somewhat better for a time, but the month anniversary just brought it all to the surface.

To make matters worse, one of the baby yarrow plants that Zoe Sunshine's mom had sent is not doing well. They both were planted in back of my and Bob's graves. Mom wanted them to be a pink backdrop since they can grow up to three feet high and two feet across. She read up on how to care for them as far as how much to water, etc., but one just isn't making it. :(

My mom needs purrs

Hi my Friends,

As you know, I journeyed to the Rainbow Bridge on September 6th after I lost my fight with CRF. I can't adequately describe how much it has meant to have your love and purrs during my illness these past two and a half years.

Now, my mom could use some purrs. You see, she's having a very hard time working through the grief over losing me after nearly 20 years together. We have so many wonderful memories, but she's not able to recall those positive memories as much as the painful ones of my disease process and my last two days on earth. She just keeps reliving it all and wonders if there was something she did wrong or could have done better.

My mom is having some physical symptoms to go along with her emotional pain. Her migraines reappeared after a lengthy absence, she's irritated with work (more so than usual), and she's all out of sorts. Any purrs you can spare would so much be appreciated.

Love always,

I'm an angel now

Dear Friends,

My sweet boy Tigger made his journey to Rainbow Bridge this afternoon. He took a turn for the worse two days ago; he was no longer eating and drinking as of last night, nor was he urinating or defecating. We took him to the vet today and his vet said that his systems were shutting down. The toxins from his Chronic Renal Failure were building up and his little body couldn't take anymore. It's possible he also had lymphoma instead of IBD as the Prednisone wasn't helping the inflammation in his bowel; she said it felt thicker today than a week ago.

Thank you so much for caring about my boy through his CRF illness these past two and a half years. I really appreciate your supportive emails, p-mails and pressies for his page. I'll never forget your kindness.

Gina and Tigger

Blood Test Results

Hi Friends,

I have good news and bad news: the good news is my appetite is back and the diarrhea has stopped on its own. However, my blood test results are not good. My CRF is worsening, which is part of the disease process. My thyroid function is low.

Mom is going to talk to my vet in person on Wednesday, as that is the day she is back in the office. Mom needs to talk to my vet about my thickened intestinal wall.

That's where we are right now.
