While JETER is busy focusing on my brother Reebok since they're best friends, little does he know we have a little surprise planned for him since he'll be celebrating his own 3rd birthday on March 3rd! How often does a cat get to celebrate their 3rd birthday on the 3rd day of the 3rd month of the year?!? Wow, this is special alright....

Grab a party hat, have some cake, and dance like there's no tomorrow.....

A Package From Jinx & Family!

Reebok and I received a surprise package today from JINX & TROOP! Dad brought the box in the house but boxes addressed to us don't get opened until Mom comes home, so we had to wait. They sent us a great gift basket filled with lots of toys, Kitty Kaviar, and Wildside Salmon treats! Mom took some pictures and quickly created a slideshow for us tonight.

Meowy Birthday!

Reebok and I received an adorable handmade birthday card from KLEMY Q-TIP today. The outside says "Meowy Birthday" with a cute kitty in a birthday hat carrying flowers and hearts and inside is another cute kitty in a playing position. This is all in 3D!

Tag!

I don't play the Tag games on Catster, but I play them at home. Just this morning, I chased Reebok around the house and wrestled him down. You may not think the big guy can run but he also jumps and climbs. I'm much taller though! Anyway, I made Reebok squeal and then you know what he did? He got up and grabbed me on the back of my neck with his mouth and wouldn't let go. Isn't that what Mama cats do to discipline their kids? Well, he doesn't look like a Mama cat to me, but he's definitely a Mama's boy. Once I told him that, he let go and went off to pout. And so did I.

Ornament Exchange

When Mom and Dad had Christmas dinner at the new home of one of their nieces who is a newlywed, everyone was asked to participate in an ornament exchange. They were supposed to bring old ornaments to hang on the tree to help them start a collection.

All of the old ornaments are up in the attic in boxes, so guess what Mom decided to do? She picked out two of our toy mice that had ribbons and bells on the ends of them and didn't even ask us if it was okay. In return, they came home with two ceramic ornaments that we have no use for. But once Mom told us everyone thought their contribution was cute, we forgave her.

We'll have to talk about this beforehand next year!

I'm a Model!

I'm proud to say that the picture of me wearing my holiday Toy Soldier costume was chosen to be added to the CATRON FASHIONS website! Not only that, but the same picture is currently on CATRON FASHIONS on EBAY! I'm not for sale though, just the costume! Most of our Halloween costumes this year were purchased from Catron Fashions. Now I have something new to add to my resume!

Mom's on Vacation

Mom is on vacation this week. She's been off since Thanksgiving so we're all happy about that. All she wants to do is relax and stay close to home. Even after this week, she has more than another week of vacation days left that she needs to take before the end of the year.

I have been trying to help her with some holiday shopping on the internet. When I don't like what she's looking at, I walk in front of the computer monitor and block her view. That's what she gets for putting my favorite bed to knead and suck on in front of the monitor. Yes, I am the tallest kitty in the family and I'm a big boy and I still like to knead and suck on that one bed....

Remembering Milo

I remember when Reebok and I were kittens and were first introduced to Milo, I got scared seeing a big white kitty. But once I found out how much he loved other kitties, I was fine.

When Mom was looking through our photos yesterday, she became disappointed thinking that I was the only one who didn't have pictures with Milo, even though she knew that I also took naps with him. She was so relieved when she found a few and picked one to add as my main photo.

There is nothing bad to say about Milo because it just never happened. Even though I'm not really sure why I haven't seen him since yesterday, I know he is resting peacefully somewhere and that I will see him again someday.

I'm a Musketeer!

I thought Mom was going to let me off the hook and not put me in a costume for Halloween, but we did it! Mom found a costume for me today and took my pictures. We'll be finished with my page after we add a banner but that'll be later tonight.

Mom also finally entered our dogs, Cosmo and Quincy, in the World's Coolest contest this morning. She wasn't going to at this stage of the contest, but changed her mind after a couple of their pals pawmailed asking why they weren't entered. I'm mentioning this in my diary since they are so lazy about writing in theirs.

Pony Sightings!

We got a visual treat today. The neighbors who live directly across the street had a birthday party for their daughter and they had two ponies there so the kids could ride them up and down the street. Our office is in the front of the house so we had a great view. Mom and Dad were invited to the party so we watched as they headed over and hung around outside the house during the pony rides.

Since my brother Milo is the only one who owns a cowboy hat, I suggested he go over there but he just let out a meow and went back to sleep. Not much excites him these days.

Speaking of hats, I could care less that my Halloween costume hasn't arrived, but as for my brother Riley, he's always up for a costume because he just loves the camera. Maybe he can wear both of our costumes!
