Our 6th Birthday!

My parents can't believe Reeb and I are 6 already!

I sure appreciate my friends who have left gifts, comments, and sent pawmails to me today. Thank you!

I haven't gotten very close to Huey, but I watch him from a distance and walk around his playpen to try to smell his stuff. I loved Quincy alot and used to run up to him talking and rubbing up against his body. I'm sure if I tried to rub up against Huey right now I'd knock him over! MOL! I'll just have to get used to the new Dood and see what I think since it's only been a few days.

Thanks again for stopping by today and honoring my birthday!

Reebok is confused!

Reebok was in one of the cat beds last night and I decided to join him. We were lying side by side when all of sudden he starts kneading me with all four paws! Yep, those chubby short legs of his can do some serious deep kneading.

He's confused. I told him I'm not his mother and if he was looking for milk to go somewhere else!

Mistaken Identity!

Last night we heard Dad say to Mom:

"Fat Boy's on top of the new tree"

Mom told him he was mistaken because "he" hasn't been on the very top of the tree but that I've been sleeping there.

So then Dad said:

"Which one hates me?"

Mom said "Nike". I don't really hate him, but I tend to run from him sometimes just like Enzo does.

Dad said:

"Then it *is* Fat Boy because he's not running"

Mom finally had to take a look and sure enough it was me and not "Fat Boy". So she told Dad it was me and then "Fat Boy" walked over just to prove it.

Leave it to Mom to never get us mixed up! You would think Dad could tell us apart by now!

You know who "Fat Boy" really is!

Halloween night. After kiddies stopped coming to the door Mom came upstairs and I was halfway out from under the bed. I wasn't the only one under there either. It was a dark, scary night, and Quincy barked every time the doorbell rang!

The Halloween costumes for Quincy and the boycats arrived earlier this week. We usually get our holiday pictures taken during the weekend but Mom decided to try and take them last night and it was a success! Every cat and dog was happy and got away unharmed!

Now we have to wait....

Bag lady!

Last year on June 1st I pawed about how Mom looked like a walking beehive when she wraps her wet hair in a towel. It scares me, especially when she walks in my direction.

Well, now she's taking a couple of days off from work as "mental" days and decides it's a good day to touch-up her hair roots and cut her own hair. She thinks she's gotten pretty good at it.

So, I'm relaxing on the big bed while she's in the bathroom doing this weird stuff to her hair and then tries to find something to wrap her hair up. She comes out with a plastic grocery bag on her head!

Scared the bejeebies out of me so I took off flying out of the room.

She's mental alright.

A special delivery for Reeb and I arrived today just in time for our birthday week, courtesy of Hazel Lucy's Tranquility Blankets, Hats, and Scarves!

We just picked the colors, offered a few words of inspiration, and she whipped something up beyond our expectations!!

Thanks Cousin Hazel Lucy and mom! You rock, and now so do we!

Broken heart!

The best thing I liked about my costume was that I didn't have to actually wear it. It just went around my neck and we didn't bother to try to stick my legs in the costume even if I do have long legs! The hat wasn't bad either, and there's nothing like a little tickling under the chin and a crazy lady talking to you to make you cooperate!

During the photo shoot, Mom broke the chain on the heart and had to do a quick patch job, but I know my heart is whole.

Have you seen my oil can?

What to write?

I never seem to have much of anything to write about in my diary, but I know I have been a good boy because Mom always says so.

My life must be boring. Maybe we need another cat, or maybe another dog. Maybe not. I like my life just the way it is.

There. I wrote something.

Things I Do and See

Did I ever mention how much I like to talk to Quincy? While cats like Melody and Riley tend to lick his paws and face, which I think is yucky, I talk to him. When he walks around the house I run after him while talking to him and rub up against him. When he takes another step I run after him again until he stops!

Quincy tends to get more attention from us cats more than Cosmo does probably because he's more in our face, but Cosmo is nice to us too.

What I see when we go out in the backyard is my brother Reeb, peeing. He is the only one out of the ten of us that does that. I think his best friend Jeter Harris told him it was cool to pee in the great outdoors.

When I was a kitten I used to follow behind Reeb, but I'm not about to start peeing outside. Now you know who always got to the food first, too!
