Did Someone Say Turkey and Pumpkin in The Same Sentence?

So as a little kitten, I'm learning all about the holidays. Meowmy tells me the next one coming up is Thanksgiving. She says that day everyone (just about) has off work and gets together with family to give thanks for everything they have. She said that they traditionally eat turkey and pumpkin pie. Did someone just say turkey and pumpkin? That would be the two things I am most thankful for. Although everyday must be Thanksgiving for me as that is what I love to eat - turkey and pumpkin!

Surprises for Meowmy and I'm a Very Smart Cat!

So the other evening meowmy came home and she went into my room while she was talking on the phone with Grandmaw and Grandpaw. She sat down in the big, black dome chair and felt something wet on her pants. Meowmy knew that she didn't pee herself and that she didn't fall into anything wet. It turned out that I decided to go leave a masterpees on the dome chair. I did this again the other day. Meowmy knows that I am not sick as I don't act like I am in pain or having issues otherwise with the litterbox. As a result of this happening, she has decided to take the dome chair out of my cat room and put in into the basement. It is the only thing I have been inappropriately peeing on.

On another topic, I am one very brilliant kitty. I know how to let mom know that I want to be played with. I will meow loudly and I will actually go down to my toy box and drag out the toy that I want to play with and bring it to meowmy. She says Colleen never did this. I guess it is just a difference in purrsonalities!

I Like Warm Pineapple Too!

As some of you cats might remember, my late sisfur Colleen used to like warm pineapple off of Hawaiian Pizza when she was a young cat. Well, it turns out so do I. Meowmy was eating some Hawaiian Pizza that she had made tonight and I had to jump up in her lap and eat the pieces of pineapple that fell off of her pizza and onto her plate. I wonder what other good human food I will discover in the future?

The Human Litterbox!

So this morning I really felt like exploring the house. I went into the bathroom to watch meowmy put in her contacts and do her grooming. While I was in there I explored something called a bathtub. After I was done with that I noticed something round that had a lid on it. Only the lid was up. I jumped over to it to see what was in there, only I ended up falling in and there was water in there. I didn't like this one bit. Just wanted to warn all my other kitty friends out there about those human litter boxes just incase you think you want to explore them. I really don't think you do!

Did Someone Just Say Pumpkin Cookies?

So my meowmy has been talking about making Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies. I want to help! I wish she would let me have a taste, but she said that since they had chocolate chips in them, they are not good for cats. Gee, I wonder if she could just make some plain pumpkin cookies for me. Those would be yummy. Chances are she probably won't though.

I Want Pizza Pawty!

So tonight meowmy made some pizza for supper and she had a glass of wine with it. Both looked very good! I immediately jumped up on meowmy and proceeded to lick her face and get at her pizza, but she just kept moving it away. Pawrents sure know how to take the fun out of a good pawty don't they?

Halloween Festivities Without Me?

So meowmy, Grandmaw and Grandpaw all went to this Halloween event at the Milwaukee County Zoo called the Boo At The Zoo last night. They didn't botherto take me along either. They said they saw lots of pumpkins, skeletons and pretty lights. No little black cats though. Gee, I wonder why? Aren't we a big part of Halloween? She did say that she saw the lion family with the 3 baby lions that really aren't so little anymore. If you remember one of Colleen's past diary entries, there are two boys and a girl. The two boys' manes are growing in already. They were busy grooming each other last night, while their sister was just sleeping.

Also, meowmy went to Starbucks this morning and got a pumpkin scone and a pumpkin spice latte. She said I couldn't have any. Why not? She gives me pumpkin in my turkey and she knows I love it. She said something about sugar and caffeine not being good for us kitties. Whatever! At least
I am going to get in on watching some horror films with meowmy on AMC Fearfest today.

Climbing The Human Cat Tree!

This morning when meowmy was preparing my cat food, I learned how to climb her. I climbed her and then jumped onto the kitchen counter top where my food was being preparred. There was a can of pumpkin out and I immediately put my little head in it and started chowing down. Seriously, pumpkin is the most pawsome thing ever! It's really good when mixed with some raw turkey. Just remember all you cats out there, that if you want your breakfast faster, all you have to do is climb meowmy to get it!

This morning meowmy tried giving me some raw turkey and pumpkin. OMC! Was this ever delicious. I ate this up right away. If you've never tried pumpkin before, i'd highly recommend it. It's good for you too. Another thing I've been told is good for us is sweet potatoes, which meowmy hasn't tried with me yet, but will in the future.

DOD Today!

So meowmy was telling me all about the special honors us Catster kitties can receive. Well, what do you know, we were just informed that I am the Diary of The Day. Pawsome!

This morning I had to climb meowmy's back. That seems to be a favorite thing for me to do - climb the humans. Then I like to stand on their shoulders and nuzzle up to them. Meowmy will be sure and give me some extra special playtime and cuddles tomorrow.
