RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY

We had rain that started Saturday night and went through Monday. Lots and lots of flooding in our area. We are safe but there has been a lot of damage. Monday the sun came out and this morning it was out but by lunch it was raining again, HARD and we don't need that. It is possible it is going to continue until Saturday. We need lots of days of dryness to get back to normal. We want to get on the porch and watch springtime but when it's this wet, we can't even go on the porch.

How mom picks me up and carries me around talks to me. Some days, it's really cute because it does get up above the counter levels and I can see if there is anything I need to get up there and get. MOL!


2. Describe one thing your pet pawrent does that you think is REALLY LAME.
Mom thinks she is being slick by dumping the dry food left in our bowls and mixing it in and pouring it back in to the bowls like it is new food. She knows I love it when a new bag of food is open and she thinks this is tricky, but I know what she is doing and it is kind of lame!

Thanks to all my friends who left gifts and rosies and helped celebrate my special day today! I got lots of extra loving and more sweet talks and scratches from mom for being picked.

What makes me happy?

Mom picks me up, scratches my neck and talks to me softly. I lay back against her, close my eyes and purr...that makes mom happy and she scratches more and talks to me more...and we continue to go through that cycle. That's what makes me happy.

Nice days

Yesterday was mom's early day at work, so she comes in earlier and I am awake. After a while she sat on the couch and I got to sleep in her lap. She had supper and I still sat there, sniffed and went back to napping. I sleep so good in mom's lap. I love her early days!

Can't wait for the Puppy Bowl Today

I know all our friends are getting ready for the Super Bowl, but I'm excited to turn on Animal planet to see the Puppy Bowl (the Ninth year of it) with the Kitty Halftime show. It features the Hedgehog cheerleaders and Hamsters driving the Blimp.

We LOVE to watch the puppies playing together, then the kitties too, of course. It features 63 puppies from shelters all over the US, and 21 kittens. It helps to remind us there are lots of furs still looking for homes and some there because someone didn't spay and neuter...as cute as they all are, it's sad to see all these babies in shelters.

So we will turn on Puppy Bowl IX and enjoy all the cuteness that life holds...and hope that this helps each and every one of them find their forever home!

I'm SO in love

Lillian asked me to go on a trip of haunted houses with her and last night we were in Paris. We had a lovely dinner together in a small out of the way romantic Bistro, found a violin player to serenade, had a romantic walk paw in paw through Paris in the evening light. She is SO beautiful and I'm so in love!

A month long trip with Lillian

This morning I had a Pmail from Lillian asking me to PLEASE say yes to this trip. She has a friend that has planned a Haunted Castle Tour of Europe.

We leave today and it looks like we will see 11 Castles and come back on the 15th, so I will get to spend Valentine's day with my lovely Lillian.

OF COURSE I said yes. She may be scared in some of those castles and I need to be there to protect her!

Hopefully I'll be able to update my diary as we travel!
