So we have decided that sense Gump and Tigger both weren't just extremely close to us but also members of GreenPaws we have decided to start a GreenPaw tradition.
When our new Angels leave to go the bridge we will purchase a baby plant to remind their family of them. With great research the baby plant will be 1)compatible to their planting zone (that's a given) 2)will be a multiplying plant so the member gets a gorgeous huge plant with in years 3)promise the baby plants will be easy care (plant and forget about them plants unless we know for a fact the member is a gardening geek) and 4)we will take extra consideration for special needs (Tigger's Mom has a serious problem with deer eating her plants every year...thus she will receive a deer resistant plant)
Now for the unveiling of Tigger's and Gump's new gifts from us. Mom has been doing a lot of research for this one.
Tigger was born in the fall so we wanted to get him a fall flower, he also loved the color pink so he gets the prettiest hot pink, easy care, deer resistant flower that we could thank of. (great in 3-9 planting zones....that's all of us isn't it heeheee)
Tigger's "pink" giftie
Achillea Richard Neilson is it's name.
Our dear Angel Gump...he was born in early spring and his gotcha day was early July so he gets a summer flower. As you know Mich. weather is a little tricky, a matter of fact we have no idea what it would be like to have snow for more than a couple days at a time. But sense it's the summer it made this easier. We wanted Gump to have a pretty white flower and as a added plus Angel is in it's name.
Gump's delicate giftie
This is Achillea Angels Breath.
Both are yarrows, (that was just a coincidence btw) so they are plant them and leave them plants. So easy easy to take care of. Here they are known as a great drought plant, in Mich. and northern Cali you might need to make sure they are planted on a well drained spot, maybe like on sloped spot. I figure the snows make their land a little on the soggy side sometimes. The only thing about yarrows is they get tall and need to be staked. I took the liberty to pick out yarrow that only gets two feet tall thus probably we be just fine without the stakes.
Both plants are great for butterfly gardens, make great dried and cut floors and are good for planting zones 3-9 (that's all of us isn't it heehee)
I will be sending info on planting and caring for these plants to both Gina and Jen.
Now for group business....
Samhain sent out a group email back when the group emails were not working asking if anyone would be interested in swapping seeds or divided plants..(that was Mom's idea about the divided plants) considering she has no idea half the time how to gather seeds and actually get them to grow. She did find out how to propagate a Crape Myrtle though. We have a huge white wild Crape Myrtle in the back yard and want to try our hand at it. Wish us luck.
Anyway if anyone is interested in swapping it might not be to late to do so. Maybe we should have a group meeting for a weekend to talk about these possibilities. If we are lucky Samhain will teach us how to ship these delicate babies. She said she's done it before. We are also talking about veggie seeds too.
Second part of business...if you would like to pitch in for the bereavement gifts for members let me know how you would like to do so. I will be purchasing the gifts from Bluestone so the shipping isn't bad at all. I thought about Plant Delights but it would have cost 26. to fly to cali and 18. to land ship to Mich. I really need to talk to them about their shipping cost...way way to high! Bluestone is only 8. bucks. I will be purchasing two plants each for Gina and Jen. The plants run around 8 give or take a couple pennies. This will not break Mom's piggy bank at all so if you wish not to give towards the gifts she is perfectly fine with that.

Okay, so we were running a little behind and finally read Samhains diary about the kits coming back. What great news! What a great mystery! I had commented on Sam's inability to sugar coat anything. Told her that's why we love her she calls them like she sees it. All of the sudden I felt the urge to scream the truth about what my two brothers and my sisfur are really like.
Zach- Zach truly is a super sweet and sensitive cat...to Mom that is. He drank the Mom Kool-Aid back when he first came to live with us. He was 3 months old and didn't know any better. Humans are there to be our servants not the other way around. He has been throwing rose petals in front of every step she takes ever since. (figuratively speaking of course) He adores her, it's obvious. A complete Mommas boy for sure. He even sometimes gets ill when Mom loves on Gris.
He is the protector of the house, he will take on anyone. And yes he is as dreamy as he looks girls. But watch that forked tongue of his! He can twist a brain with the best of them.
If Zach could drive he would drive something stylish but not pertinacious, green but not tree huger green...he would drive the new squatty Range Rover (can't remember what they are called)
G ris- Gris is turning out to be a ego maniac. He baths religiously and struts around with that big fluffy tail of his straight up in the air. He's a peacock, a prince, finicky little guy he is, thanking he can demand what he wants and do anything he wants without suffering from the repercussions! He's a pretty sweet kid, really, but he has his moments. I swear that kid thanks he's a male diva. Holy Cat! It just came to me.... he's Ryan Seacrest! 100% sure of himself and eccentric about everything. Yep that's Ryan Seacrest.
He too was giving the Mom Kool-Aid but he got finicky after drinking only half of the glass and walked away. He loves Mom but doesn't worship her like Zach does.
This one is easy, Gris would have a limo or a convertible Porsche.
And my dear Diamond- What can I say about Diamond. I would say she's like Schooby Doo. She is scared of her on shadow but when push comes to shove she will fight to protect us. She's proven that once before. She's a doll baby and everybody loves her.
I thank she can't stand being locked up with us kids all the time. Zach just gets near her and you can see panic in her eyes. She's a tormented soul. She misses her doggie companions which she could lean on, especially Tux. Mom says when she stays over at grandma and grandpas she's learning how to be a dog again. Her favorite human visitor is Dale, the raging cajun. You guys know any cajuns? Great people, down to earth, they never blow smoke up your skirt and the accent! The accent is some kind of hot. Dale is a favorite of all of ours.
She is obsessed with playing. She would play till she died. Her favorite toy is the Tennis Ball and she will shove it on you if you let her. She's also obsessed about making sure the back yard is free of all rabbits and squirrels.
I see Diamond driving a yellow bug with a "if you can read this" bumper sticker on the back.
Me, I'm quite not shy just distant. I love spending all day napping in the sun rays. I love riding Mom's butt, that's my favorite sleeping spot if I sleep on the bed. I like Pina Coladas, and getting caught in the rain. I'm not much into health food, I am into champagne. Heehee gotcha! Now that song will be stuck in your head for the rest of the night.
I'd drive a Camry, with the sport package and a sun roof. Graphite Grey.
Thanks for all the congrats for my DDP today and if you want to rat out the true personalities of your roommates, GO FOR IT!

Ahoy there maties! We are in for a great party! There are ships all around us and we have the biggest fleet! How cool is that!
There's even a ship over there that is maned by Baboons, I suggest leaving them alone! We've got all 5 ships anchored side by side with three planks linking each ship to another. That way it'll be easy getting from one ship to another. Since the Screaming Gangplank and Blood Thirsty Princess is our biggest ships we set up them up as our main party ships.
Map of the festivities
Your pass to get into the party
Everybody has a plus one...so bring a friend. Dogs allowed by the way!(as long as they are well mannered)
Any drink, any food you thank you would want I bet we will have! We have hired a 5 star chef to do all the cooking so he will love a challenge.
Non-Alocholic drinks and kit meals will be served on the Purr Ann. Yes kits there will be pizza and five alarm buffalo wings!
There is one thing we need to do though...come up with a name for our dog ship. Any suggestions you have will be greatly appreciated. then we can vote for the ones we like best. Just stop by the voting box after you sign in and tour our new ship.
The last day of our pirate adventure in case you missed it last weekend. It is definitely a tale in a half....they even thought I was dead!

First, Mom and I want to brag on our perfect rose and remind our Greenpaws friends to add their bragging pics on the group page! don't feel bad, we haven't been adding pics like we thought we would either.
R K Witherspoon signature rose, side view
We will also be posting pics of our Sedums coming up,rosemary and the Sally Holmes rose. Also another pic of the RK bud after it rained today.
-------------------------------------------------- -----------------------We will be setting sail Thursday so stay in touch. I will be sending pmails out to our fellow pirates we haven't heard from yet.
It will be Thurs. thru Sun. on Zach's diary page. We figure one diary will promote fun banter between the sexes. And who knows what those darn kits will be saying. Remember, the show "kids say the darndest things"
You've got to watch this!!!

Ladies, seems Zach and crew are getting their ship together for an early sail. I heard they were going to leave next Thursday night. We must leave at the same time.
As you might know, the goal is total destruction of The Screaming Gangplank. Remember, we won the battle last year...and gained a boat which we will be using as a scout again this year..The Black Widow.
Our great ship the Blood Thirsty Princess is been cleaned prepped and ready. We just need to stock her...
expensive bottled water
three ninja suits
little umbrella thingys for our drinks
goose down cat beds or heated beds
speakers for our Iphones
stir fry table
Just let me know you are aware of this request by responding with your Pirate name and a picture of the item you are bringing.
(instructions for picture mouseovers..
First find the pic you want, copy it to your desktop or directly upload it to photobucket or like website....then in a new tab open this page
N ow grab the direct link code for your picture, place it in the top line on the Dogster help forum page, then on the second line word your description of the picture (these will be the Blue Words)
Then hit Create Forum Code, you should see a long code pop up and your picture at the bottom of the screen. Copy and paste in the diary the new forum code. Remember you will not see the picture till after you have entered your comment.)

Here's the questions just copy and paste. And tag 5 kits to play along. Email the kits to let them know you tagged them.....this is what we call southern hospitality. MOL! Ps- anybody can play. I want to invite Natasha but Zach just tagged Tully last night.
"Who are you really?"
1) Tell me your funny Christmas story.
My first Christmas was something! Zach was only 4 months old and I wasn't much older. Zach climbed the tree a few times! Funny, how much him and Gris are alike. Anyway, there was a small choo choo train under the tree. It had a bell and smoke coming out of it! We would stalk it and chase it around the tree. It was slow but still a lot of fun. That night, I put out cookies with Zach (we drank the milk...sorry Santa but what do you expect) and fell asleep watching old Bogart movies. The next morning there was our first Turbo Scratcher under the tree with a "from Santa" tag on it! How did he get by me. I know I sleep hard but dang...Santa is a big boy, he's probably a thunder foot when he walks. And to sleep through the such a clatter and that yelling of the reindeer names. Maybe little eves do sprinkle us with sleepy dust before he comes in.
2) Where's your favorite hiding place when playing hide and go seek?
In the cabinets. I learned how to open them many moons ago.
Hiding from the boys
3) What did you dream of being as a young kit?
Princess living in a tall elaborate castle over looking the sea shore, then I grew up and settled for being a true Southern Belle.
My latest picture
4) What's your favorite hobby? Anything goes.
Playing with the odd ball things other than toys. Mom cleaned out from under the stove tonight and found four mice, one sparkle ball, one coke cap, one milk ring and three little balls with the bells in them. Gris and Zach was ecstatic. I wasn't, but then I found a nut Mom found under there and I played and played and played. Who needs expensive toys.
5) Whats your one "bad habit" that you love and your Mom hates?
As you know I have bathroom issues. They aren't really bad but sometimes I just prefer not using the bathroom behind the boys. Especially Gris...that boy stinks!
6) If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?
England..I would love to meet the Queen. Somebody is going to have to lock up those corgis first.
7) What is your guilty pleasure? Food, skirts and suits or cars? What?
Mancats and naps are my guilty pleasures. I can survive without a man but not without my naps.
8) What is your favorite make believe monster? And yes girls, unicorns and fairies are included. Post a pic of this mysterious beast.
Pegasus (painting by Ian Hornak) Of course.
9) What is the one dreaded thing you have to do at home? Babysitting, taking baths, entertaining guest....what is your dread?
Taking my pills. Yuck! I always spit them out!
10) We are going to have coed ships this year so which ship do you want to be on mine, or Zoes. Gris will be having a small ship (more like a dingy) for all our kits to be on.
Obviously, I'll be sailing on my ship "The Blood Thirsty Princess"
Samhain - my girl!
Presley - the panther
Skittles - my gorgeous calico friend
Tink - my long lost friend
Eddy - DG #1, too sweet

Just thought I would tell you..she just called Mom while doing Zach's diary and said the doc says everything looks good. Her labs aren't in yet but they are positive. So positive, they want her to walk in the survivors walk. Mom told Grandma that she would love to be her trainer. Not exactly sure where the walk is held but I'm sure it's got some hills.
1 year!! Now that's something to celebrate!

We have music again! Gris has his usual Roustabout, Zach has his Let's go surfing tune (also has a killer video of Kelly Slater riding the pipeline) and me...Well I have a surprise for of all of you. See, the very first song to ever play on my page was Sarah Smile. I found it but not only it but Jimmy Wayne playing with them. How special! Also I added some other really sweet tunes.
Now on to more important and confussing news. Some feline femme fatale must have really gave Zach on heck of a compliment. He hasn't stopped playing for days! Just down right rowdy! Of course, he's flying out to Cali to surf and look at Cali bellies in a couple days too. Natasha, get ready! He's also going to swing down and soak some rays in with River and Simone. So.. maybe he's just stoked about that. Who knows with him!
Gris is getting bigger by the day. He's becoming one heck of a looker. Which he should, cause he grooms all day long and then strategically places the recycled hair in spots where Mom almost walks into it. That kid has got a lot to learn yet. I'll have to tell him you hide your offerings...you know like I do. I went into the pantry one day to offer my recycled fur to the ceiling cat. I believe I had been purring for a break from Zach, permanently. Didn't work. I'll try fasting next time...nah! I like to eat to much.
ME, I'm doing good. Been keeping to myself. I'm a little skinny but Mom says that's good. If I'm chubby thats usually when I've had an allergic breakout and I'm on meds. Dang steroids, Mom says she always gains weight when she's on them too. Anyway, going on 6 months sense my last big itchy scratchy session. Yaaay!
We just wanted to say HI and tell you to check out our new pages WITH music I might add. Stupid Playlist website for messing things up. But we found a way without you! Oh Gris's page isn't done cause Mom is working on his bday page.
C U later Alligators!
PS- note from Mom. I can't seem to get Zoe's gift box to go invisible. Don't remember how I did it before. If you have the code please share it with me. Love you all and thanks in advance.

Just to apologize for our missing playlist. When they changed there website I guess they changed their minds about sharing. This makes me upset....a quiet page is an unexpected pleasure at times but we love having a personality showing through.
So tired of our favorite websites doing themselves in. Shame a pure shame!
Just wanted to mention how sad we are of Ollies passing. It breaks our hearts band Milo, TB and Eva is in our purrs. Such a shame. Ollie was such a likeable guy.
