Getting Exercise

**Chorus "Feed us Pops" **
**Marmaluke is back in full eating form and chomps down a good portion of breakfast along with the Kits. They get a break to let the meal settle before play time**

Exercise time...

Marmaluke: "We all had a nice meal and are ready for exercise. We are now starting to show real hunting ability. Last week I was just zooming. This week I take a bit of time to assess my target before the attack. Not that zooming is no fun just that I hit the targets dead center now Meowers" **He sets and wiggles his bottom before joining the pack as they go by**

Shadow: "I like when I catch the chase toy and you roll me over and jiggle my belly. I am starting to purr a lot. Have to go."**She zips off**

Tiger:"Wow I really like a head scritch! Purrrrrr! Purrrrr! Opps! Gotta run. Bye!" **He jumps up and charges away**

Phantom:"He Me too! I love a belly rub. I can purr too! OK maybe I have a little less attention span... Bye" **She chases Tiger**

Orange Paw: "Hey I am the shy one. So what! I still zoom with the best of the rest. Meowzers" **She jumps up and runs to join in**

Pops: "After a good hour exercise they are all ready to get back in the wire house. They all get a drink when they go in. In 10 minutes they are all asleep. A cat pile of 4 with Tiger asleep on the play house as usual.
See you later kits."

Feedin and Frolicking times have Pops learning

**Kits all line up, but, give the floor to Shadow!**

"OK Pops... We have to let cha know that we do not all eat everything in sight every minute of every day! We know you were all upset that Marmaluke did not eat breakfast yesterday. He was tired. We just got out of the wire house for the first time on Friday night so had a full day out zooming on Caturday. I mean after just running in the wire house we had a big place to zip back and forth... And forth and back. Repeat Repeat Repeat. His little legs were just tired."

**Marmaluke speaks up a little upset**
"Yeah... And you do not have to watch me in the box either! Everything is jusssst FINE!"

Pops:"OK. It is just that I have not had kits for years. How about breakfast!"

**All Clamor to be first to the plate and chorus**
"Me-ow Meoow Mee Mee Meeow Purr PURR Meooowww"

Pops:"I see the eating thing is back to normal. You Kits have to remember I am the Pops and worry."

Kits Mumble with mouths full: "Mffh Yerrggh Mffh Meoph muph"

We are starting to be really special

**All line up and give a big Meowzers!**

Each is starting to be really individual and they report on their new up cat moves:

Marmaluke: "I love being out. I climb up Pops arm or jump into his lap every time he opens the door! I have a big purr going and then I hit the floor! I give a little 'eerreowr' and CHARGE across the floor. Then I do it again and again! Sometimes I bump into things but so what! Eerreowr!! Zoom! Zoom!"

Shadow:"I like to be the watcher! I climb up on the play house or sit inside way down low so I can just look out. Then I AMBUSH any kit who comes by. I do the same down on the floor and then I join in the charging, but, I like to ambush best"

Tiger: "I like to purr. I like to get a head scritch! I sit with my paws over the edge and close my eyes for a scriiitcchh Ahhhh! Oh wait! Im on the floor! Lets Runnnnnn! Charggggeee!"

Orange Paw: "I am first in line to eat! I want a bigger portion for me and Phantom. I love to sit with her and then we both charge the boyz and knock them down. I meow with a little voice when I want to climb on Pops"

Phantom: "Me and Orange Paw are the two top cats! We can knock over Marmaluke or Tiger even thought they are bigger because of team-work! We girls will be the top cats here for sure! Hey Pops! Let me run up your arm and sit on your shoulder. Thanks Meow"

**They all line up**

Meow Meow bye for now!!

We are settled in

Meowzers!
I will be Spokes kitten: Me Marmaluke!
Cause I talk all the time! Meow Meow Purr Meow Purr!

We are all real happy with our big cage! We can run and jump!
We have now have two nice big food bowls as we cannot all fit around one.

We are doing real well with our litter box so maybe we can get the whole room in a week or so!

That Pops got us a big climbing box too! We had so much fun running in and out and just going nutty.

In the morning pops was getting breakfast ready and he counted:"One Two Three Four Hey... One missing!" Then he hears a Me-ow! Me-ow! Seems the first night we got so excited we the box over on Shadow and she was under there for a bit.

She ran out and went right to breakfast like nothing happened!
Pops went and tied the box up so we cannot push it over again.

Bye! Time to play!

Hi All-Meowzers

***Squeeky Tiny Voices in Harmony***
Let us introduce ourselves:

Marmaluke: Marmalade Tomcat. Named after the famed warriors. Big voice. Meow-eow-eow! Frisky! Hungry! Made a big loud purr today when he jumped up in greeting!

Shadow: Gray Shecat with very faint markings. Jumper. Climber. Has a little tiny purr motor and likes chin scritch.

Orange-Paw: Shecat with bright orange paw. Does a great imitation of a dragster charging for a dead stop. Likes hiding and then comes running!

Phantom: Shecat with a wonderful black mask on half her little cute face. Curious. Energetic. Loves to jump on anyone close by.

Tiger: Tobcat with super energy. He likes to do the kitty toe dance sideways. Jumper. Charger. Gives burst of purr.

OK... Here they are. We will be looking for furever homes in maybe a month so there is plenty of time to get ready. I will most likely be working with Spay and Save and Kitty Cottage to make sure all is good with prospective parents and they will have all shots up to date.
