Have in wrapped in purrty shiny blue, silver and red paper with a big purrty white bow.

With it you must wrap a kiss from me.

Thank you Santa Claws you are the best. Your fur friend Annie Spokescat.

Things have been busy here decorating for the holidays. Fall is still here and the leaves are finally off the trees. Today used the leave blower and then an hour later a big gust of wind arrived to bring more from the woods. Male Human took the riding mower and chopped up what he could so they don't return again.
The neighbors all around have lights galore. We only have a few on the new POOH BEAR House. Then rest of the work was done inside. We did not put up a big tree this year but it seemed that every nook and cranny was dirty. The place had to be de-haired top to bottom. I know we had 2 extra cats laying about that we did not know we had.
Peaches has been holding his own this weekend. We went without medication the last few days and he has rested better and seemed to have less rattling in his breathing. He goes to see the Vet tomorrow. I don't know if all this medication is really doing anything.
I know the stress he has had while giving it to him has not been good. I thought I was going to loose him last week. He was so stressed and started breathing through his mouth and his eyes were dilated to the max. With getting the brush and brushing his head it calmed him and he was on the floor exhausted while I brushed him. He relaxed then started to purr. It made me feel better to hear him.
That's when I decided to not give him anything and see how he did. He's seemed much better. He has been sneezing in and out as if trying to get something out. I keep hoping he will surprise me with so odd thing dislodging from his nose.
We had a very generous donor give a $100. to use for his comfort today. That was such a wonderful surprise. I want to repeat a thank you to all of you who have been so kind with your contributions for his testing and care. Everyone has been so fantastic. Nudges and sandpaper kisses to all. .
P.S. I will try to get the Thank You's to all soon for all those gifts and kind words left on my and Peaches pages.

Thankful for our Catster friends

We pray for all those furs who have been displaced by Hurricane Sandy.
We give thanks to all those who have gone the extra mile to help the victims who still have no homes or power. For providing a shelter for those little victims who can't speak for themselves.
We give thanks for our freedom and for all those who have fought and died for us to keep it.

Please be kind to your furs and give them some special yummies for this weekend but also remember, Turkey should be given in great moderation.

Tribute to our Mr.Z a happy story

Written by Girl Human:

No tears please this story has a happy ending.

I know so many of you have followed my posts of Mr.Z our Lost kitty never to have been found. What occurred here is angels at Rainbow Bridge sending me a gift.

On Nov. 14th of last year our Mr.Z disappeared without a trace. One November 17th we set the wheels in motion for the big search. Not just a local search but a world wide search. Many of you took the search on the road by posting posters on your pages. World wide. I still to this day see, posters on many of pages. I thank you so much.

I knew the time had come to stop my heart from breaking. If ever you have lost a pet you will understand. For those who have not God bless you and may you never have to deal with it. (No tears please).

Many months ago I read here on Catster, about the Underground Railroad Rescued Kitty Network. I went to their site on Facebook and observed for a while. I then joined in as a cheerleader for the conductors.

The a month or so ago the ANGELS of Rainbow Bridge got into this story. I kept watching posts to see if there were any Trains coming my way. I wanted to become a Conductor. One night I received an invite for an event on Facebook for Nov.17th. (Remember that is when we started our search one year before.)

The event was a transport of a kitty from New York City to Bluefield W.V.they needed 3 drivers in my area. This had to be an Angel intervention.

Now for those of you who do not know about the URRKN, it's a group of over 3800 people who transport cats in a relay, called the Love Train. Traveling from Foster Homes/Homes to a Forever Home nationwide.

Some conductors fly kitties across country, some kitties ride for days to get to their forever homes.

When I opened the invite there was a picture of a kitty looking somewhat like Mr. Z. Well there it was. My Tribute. His name is Langston. He needed my help to get to his destination. My Tribute was set. Due to the secrecy of the trip, I had the worse time keeping my mouth shut as to the extent I was evolved. About to kill me, let me tell you.

I graduated from cheerleader to Conductor. Yesterday Nov.17th, I became Leg 7 of 9 legs to get him from Brooklyn N.Y. to Bluefield W.V..Thanks to an organization that gives Happy Endings. They also gave me one.

Please join, everyone is welcome. It's free. You can be at what ever level you would like. For me it was the Full Monte. What a wonderful feeling it gave me to be able to be part of the happy story for Langston. Langston's photos are displayed on
Mr. Z's page.

If you would like to learn more about this wonderful group please watch this video

How the system works:
Visit the group pg on Facebook

https://www.facebook.com/groups/URRKN/

They need conductors in many Midwest and Western areas so please check it out. It can take as little as 2 to 3 hours of a weekend a few times a year as a Conductor. You can devote more, depending on how much time you want to give to the Love Train.

Time is of the essence and we really hate to ask but, we need any help we can get. Peaches is not reacting to the medicine as they have hoped. He will be going for an exam under anesthesia wed. and have x rays done. We hope this will reveal the answer as to what has happened to our guy. It was so sudden. Keep those prayers going for us please.

Hanging in there!!

We have been lucky so far. The lights go on and off and the internet comes and goes. We have TV for now. The rain is not to bad but very cold. The trees still have a lot of leaves and ice could cause some real issues tonight. We are to get some snow they say. Schools and businesses are closed. Yesterday it was 60 degrees and now snow is in our future. We still have a lot of leaves to pick up. We have not had all the winds just 15 to 20 mph gusts.

All the guys are in their houses cozy and warm. We have a generator if needed to keep everyone comfortable. Hope all of you guys are in a safe place and warm. Prayers for our fur friends on the east coast.

Response to the previous diary entry-- "I'm still in shock"

This was a person who left a response from an article written here on Catster's top story on the community page a few weeks ago. I believe it was a response from a Facebook kitty. I have no idea who it was. Just blew my mind, as it has yours.
My question is who is removing them??? It is like horror film in real life. I would not think it was a Vet. If it is they need to be re-educated. What scares me is, is it the individual who responded???? A shock all the way around. I'm still in disbelief here.

Have we had another change????

All of the sudden, I'm NOT receiving notice on my e-mail account. I ck'ed my settings. A post said they could not let me receive messages for ALL my cats. If anyone has left a comment, a gift or asking to be my friend, I no longer know this without checking each page. This is very so frustrating. Having a forever home for lots of kitties makes it hard to ck every page every day.. I really do like seeing the comments kitties make thru my E-mail. For several weeks there has been no activity on my e-mail account from Catster. An e-mail notice from them would have been nice. It seems with every change that happens here members are left in the dark until it happens. I see I have already missed 2 weeks of activity except what comes thru my pawmail. So sorry everyone.
