Girl Human was hoping that Peaches would get to enjoy this weekend of unusual warm weather and sunny days that were predicted for this weekend. Yes, he is getting to enjoy them watching from Rainbow Bridge. May he be laying in a nice warm ray of sunshine enjoying his first day at the Bridge. We want to thank all your Humans for the wonderful thoughts and tributes that you have given for our new angel Peaches. He will be missed but know that he is much happier with all he new found friends. Thank you Furs and Humans.

Sad news at the Junction

Same as posted in Peaches diary:

The news is real bad for our Peaches. He will have to leave for Rainbow Bridge soon. The mass is huge and the worst kind of cancer. Treatments are only masking the inevitable. Chances of re occurrences is high and the treatment option is giving little chance of success.. I'm glad I had the testing done so now I know there is no reasonable options left. That gives me comfort in knowing I have done the right thing for him. His Vet called as soon as he heard. He wanted me to know he is here for us for anything we need. Thank you all for your support and help during these last several months. You have helped us so very very much.

Peaches return

Last night Peaches returned to the Junction from the specialist. Girl Human had a new cage to assemble so we all had a place to sleep. She and Male Human assembled the cage. Peaches was sleeping off the anesthesia in his carrier. Once they finished the cage assembly, Girl Human place the carrier in the cage removed the carrier door while Peaches kept on sleeping. Leaving a the light on at 1:30 the Humans went to bed. At 2:30 I(Annie) went to the door and scratched and yelled because something was wrong. Girl Human knew I didn't do that so, came to my aid.
Poor Peaches had wet his nice new comfy bed in his carrier and himself. He was not sure where he was. He growled, hissed and was mad. Girl Human got a sheet and covered all but the front of the cage and Brushed and cleaned Peaches as best she could. She then returned to bed.
At 6 a.m. Meshia was crying. Not normal for Meshia's. Her cage was a total mess. Meshia was laying in her clumping litter with little clumps all over her. She had gotten her back foot in the water dish. Got in the box and the rest is a very messy, history.
Girl Human had to soak Meshia's back feet. She had a big ball of hard clean litter between her toes. Meshia cried and begged not to be placed in the water. Girl human managed to get the litter off. Then she dried her feet.
She proceeded to comb and strip out the clumps of litter in her hair and on her ears. The cage was a total disaster. Meshia cleaned her wet toes Girl Human got her cage cleaned. Girl Human did not get to return to bed.
While looking through her receipt from the day she noticed that there had been an overcharge on the cage. She called the salesmen he remembered giving her the price. The sale tag was expired and never removed. So now she had to go to town to receive her refund. With another long day she is ready for bed once more.
Biopsies were taken through a scope from both entry back of the mouth and thru is nose.
The results will not be back until the end of the week. So now it is a sit and wait. Peaches will be spending his nights in his new cage much to his objection. I keep telling him he will just have to relax and enjoy his new digs.
Buddie his Guardian Angel at Rainbow Bridge said he was going to come stay with Peaches until the results come back. Peaches is so very happy to know he going to have Buddie Angel with him. He said it will make his time in the cage seem less of an ordeal.
Thanks for everyone's support, thoughts and prayers. please continue with them all thank you friends.

Things have been busy here decorating for the holidays. Fall is still here and the leaves are finally off the trees. Today used the leave blower and then an hour later a big gust of wind arrived to bring more from the woods. Male Human took the riding mower and chopped up what he could so they don't return again.
The neighbors all around have lights galore. We only have a few on the new POOH BEAR House. Then rest of the work was done inside. We did not put up a big tree this year but it seemed that every nook and cranny was dirty. The place had to be de-haired top to bottom. I know we had 2 extra cats laying about that we did not know we had.
Peaches has been holding his own this weekend. We went without medication the last few days and he has rested better and seemed to have less rattling in his breathing. He goes to see the Vet tomorrow. I don't know if all this medication is really doing anything.
I know the stress he has had while giving it to him has not been good. I thought I was going to loose him last week. He was so stressed and started breathing through his mouth and his eyes were dilated to the max. With getting the brush and brushing his head it calmed him and he was on the floor exhausted while I brushed him. He relaxed then started to purr. It made me feel better to hear him.
That's when I decided to not give him anything and see how he did. He's seemed much better. He has been sneezing in and out as if trying to get something out. I keep hoping he will surprise me with so odd thing dislodging from his nose.
We had a very generous donor give a $100. to use for his comfort today. That was such a wonderful surprise. I want to repeat a thank you to all of you who have been so kind with your contributions for his testing and care. Everyone has been so fantastic. Nudges and sandpaper kisses to all. .
P.S. I will try to get the Thank You's to all soon for all those gifts and kind words left on my and Peaches pages.

Tribute to our Mr.Z a happy story

Written by Girl Human:

No tears please this story has a happy ending.

I know so many of you have followed my posts of Mr.Z our Lost kitty never to have been found. What occurred here is angels at Rainbow Bridge sending me a gift.

On Nov. 14th of last year our Mr.Z disappeared without a trace. One November 17th we set the wheels in motion for the big search. Not just a local search but a world wide search. Many of you took the search on the road by posting posters on your pages. World wide. I still to this day see, posters on many of pages. I thank you so much.

I knew the time had come to stop my heart from breaking. If ever you have lost a pet you will understand. For those who have not God bless you and may you never have to deal with it. (No tears please).

Many months ago I read here on Catster, about the Underground Railroad Rescued Kitty Network. I went to their site on Facebook and observed for a while. I then joined in as a cheerleader for the conductors.

The a month or so ago the ANGELS of Rainbow Bridge got into this story. I kept watching posts to see if there were any Trains coming my way. I wanted to become a Conductor. One night I received an invite for an event on Facebook for Nov.17th. (Remember that is when we started our search one year before.)

The event was a transport of a kitty from New York City to Bluefield W.V.they needed 3 drivers in my area. This had to be an Angel intervention.

Now for those of you who do not know about the URRKN, it's a group of over 3800 people who transport cats in a relay, called the Love Train. Traveling from Foster Homes/Homes to a Forever Home nationwide.

Some conductors fly kitties across country, some kitties ride for days to get to their forever homes.

When I opened the invite there was a picture of a kitty looking somewhat like Mr. Z. Well there it was. My Tribute. His name is Langston. He needed my help to get to his destination. My Tribute was set. Due to the secrecy of the trip, I had the worse time keeping my mouth shut as to the extent I was evolved. About to kill me, let me tell you.

I graduated from cheerleader to Conductor. Yesterday Nov.17th, I became Leg 7 of 9 legs to get him from Brooklyn N.Y. to Bluefield W.V..Thanks to an organization that gives Happy Endings. They also gave me one.

Please join, everyone is welcome. It's free. You can be at what ever level you would like. For me it was the Full Monte. What a wonderful feeling it gave me to be able to be part of the happy story for Langston. Langston's photos are displayed on
Mr. Z's page.

If you would like to learn more about this wonderful group please watch this video

How the system works:
Visit the group pg on Facebook

https://www.facebook.com/groups/URRKN/

They need conductors in many Midwest and Western areas so please check it out. It can take as little as 2 to 3 hours of a weekend a few times a year as a Conductor. You can devote more, depending on how much time you want to give to the Love Train.

Time is of the essence and we really hate to ask but, we need any help we can get. Peaches is not reacting to the medicine as they have hoped. He will be going for an exam under anesthesia wed. and have x rays done. We hope this will reveal the answer as to what has happened to our guy. It was so sudden. Keep those prayers going for us please.
