DDP FOR TODAY!!!!

Wow, I am so proud to be a Catster Kitty. Today I am DDP of the day. To top it all off, Girl Human is off from work and said she is going to go out in the 18 degree tempurature. She is going to all places Walmart. She hates that place. She said when she gets back she is going to wrap presents. What a wonderful day. We are going to get to do our favoritist thing in the whole wide world. We can't wait. For some reason she is not getting her Yahoo mailbox and can not read her regular mail.That is good for us as she will take all day on the computer. So must close as Girl Human wants to get going. Have a good day everyone. I will be back tonight to check on you guys.

Ralph has gone to Rainbow Bridge on Dec. 4th and his Humans and family need our support.

Catster Crazy

What is it about these Humans who do nothing but stare at their computers all day long. Girl Human has gone plum crazy and has not been doing all those things she is suppose to be doing. She has put them on the back burner. She has burn out after last few weeks of cleaning and cleaning. She is off for three days and she just does not have a fire under her.

She did put a Christmas greeting on Scarlet's page. She was playing. Her first moving greeting so forgive her for the errors.

I am now on facebook. Annie Spokescat. Now what??? She tried to correct a yahoo page as it has we are in Ill. feels like it here today, but we are not. It never did correct to Virginia no matter what she did.

She also found an old friend from many years ago and has been busy e-mailing back and forth.

Tonight Georges son came for a visit. It was nice. He has not sat and talked like that for a long time. Male Human likes him very much. He travels so much and told us of all his problems getting back home on Delta today. George was watching over him today, I am sure.

He said that the full plane was down to 12 people on the last try, trying to get it in the air. With several electrical problems plus a blackout onboard. I think I would have been one of the people who stayed behind. After a raft of problems, they took off in the same damaged plane 4 or five hours late. He had a lot of faith in the pilots and a higher power for sure. He is a seasoned traveler, it is part of his job, he was laughing it off.

I received a message today that Ralph, a handsome Siamese friend went to Rainbow Bridge this week. He will make a beautiful angel. Stop in and visit his page if you have time. They need angel friends.

Our friend King Rex in Las Vegas was DDP this week also, what a nice and pleasant surprise that was for him and is Mommy.

Well another cold day here at the Junction. It was a cool 22 degrees and we had a dusting of snow. Girl Human drove to the post office and back home. That was her big adventure of the day. The evening has been quite otherwise.

Will go Girl Human must compose so letters for some of her Christmas cards.

" I D K " is home for Christmas

This morning Girl Human was awoken with a thunk.

Yes, the mystery kitty was at it again.

A Christmas ball rolling on the floor. Several kitties watching it roll.

Who did it???

That kitty, is at it again. Yes, "I Don't Know" has returned home for Christmas. At least that is what we all assume.

It was full blown daylight.

No one saw a thing.

Yes " IDK" had to have been in our house once more. Several kitties heard the noise and several were there to see the results.

But no one is talking.

TEE HEE! and Winkie, Winkie to all.

Getting ready for the Holidays

Yes here it is. We have all had 365 days to get ready for this and here we are, Not anywhere closer to ready then we were in July. Well at least it feels that way.

Male Human is crazy, like every year. But this year is something else. Girl Human came home from work one night last week to find one nice lighted deer in the front yard. The next night there were three miniature Christmas trees plus the deer. Then the next night, a baby deer was added. Then a whole herd arrived on the weekend. Yes a herd of white lighted deer are all over the front yard. It looks like noon at midnight, a Griswold Christmas is in our near future. Is this the North Pole?? Where is the sly???? Where is Santa Paws???? He better not forget the catnip.

Last weekend Girl Human was inside of the house making a mess. She moved all the furniture from the breakfast room and cleaned everything and made it smell funny.

She got down and cleaned the floors by hand. We all thought that she was "so funny". We all had to watch, what a laugh. Did you ever watch a Human try to get up on all fours??? Yes, a real sight, worth a few laughs. A lot of noise goes with those moves. Not only did she go through it one time but several.

Sophia decorated it in short order, with a nice wet hairball. Tee Hee, that was real funny too. I though Pooh was going to fall off the kitchen counter, laughing.

Sweeny decided that a long track of litter was a nice added touch too. Girl Human was not to happy with our fine interior decorations.

The next morning, Male Human brought in a bunch of neat boxes for us to play in. He was not happy with us, for some reason. We were all just wanting to play and see what was in them. He kept telling us, to get out. What's with him???? He gives us big fun boxes and He won't let us play in them. What is with that????

Girl Human and Male Human spent a long time playing with a very tall thing. It looked like those things out back, they call trees. I think they were looking for squirrels in that tree, myself. The Humans sang and laughed while putting bright lights and shiny fun things all over it. I guess, that was for the squirrels too??
Peaches decided that the bottom was decorated for him. Girl Human didn't like him chewing on the tree. She sprayed this awful stuff on the bottom, called bitter apple. The Humans must have been in a bad mood. They ruined a nice tasting tree with that nasty stuff.

The only good thing with the tree being in the breakfast room is that the tree can be seen by all the guys while they play in the outback. Blue can see it too. The weather has been awful and the guys outside don't even want to come out to see it. They want to keep warm in their nice warm beds.

The temperatures are cold, cold, cold. The winds makes it colder. We never get this cold of temps at this time of year. Well sure hope we are not off to another year of odd weather.

While the tree was being decorated and the deer where all twinkling brightly in the front yard it was snowing. Just like a movie. What a treat for all of us at the Junction.

Cella is doing much better. Thank you fellow Catsters for all your prayers, advise and well wishes. She is still very thin and not allowed to come out and play. She does not have to have any medications now. She sure picked the right time to get sick. The weather is bad so bad here anyway. She is not missing much. Just the purrrty lights.

Well hope all of you have fun getting your gifts wrapped. We sure plan on helping the Humans all we can. We all love to help with the bows. Me, I love the tape myself.

Yesterday was a Good News Sad News Day for our Humans

First the very good new. Cella ate. Yes, Girl Human opened Cella's cage door and went to get a plastic bag and litter scoop. She returned to see Cella, on top of her cage with face full fledged in the dish. She was munching away at the Wellness Chicken cat food. Girl Human was thrilled, the Humans were so happy to see that.

We did not call the vet. Cella did her duty in the litter box a few hours later. What a day to celebrate. Girl Human went to town to buy some things. While on her way home with a few Christmas gifts and food from the Petsmart and the Human store, Male Human called.

He said, "George is Gone". "George our neighbor??? Gone where"??? Girl Human replied. "He died", said Male Human with a quivering voice. "When?? I just spoke to him before I left, said Girl Human. "Just after you left, his wife said" answered Male Human. "He placed three pieces of wood by the fireplace, said he saw Girl Human and that she must be off today" said Male Human. "He walked into the dinning room and had a heart attack and died", said Male Human.

While on the way home she thought about her neighbor and what a super nice couple they were together. He will be missed. Every Sunday like clockwork he and his wife would be off to church. He and his little dog Sam, would stop and say high everyday on the way for their morning walk. They always said hello when we saw each other, every day. Male Human spent many hours talking over the world's problems, with George.

Girl Human returned to town again after unloading her car. She later returned with all kinds of food, drinks, plates, plastic knives, spoon forks, flowers and lots more. She fixed up the table in the dinning room and she and Male Human visited for a while. Her son went out to do some chores while we were there.

Our homes face each other. We bought his Mother's house 8 years ago. Male Human use to work with George at his previous job.

The best part is, it was quick and he got to leave this earth in the place he loved so much, his Home. Many wish they could have the same final farewell to this world.

George would always keep up on the latest happenings here at the Junction. The kitties would always help him in his yard work and working in the garden. We will all miss him. God Bless his family.

We are sorry that we must have such a sad note for this Thanksgiving Day. We don't think of it as SAD. We have had a lot of joy this year. We are all so very Thankful for this Day. We are thankful for our freedom and to all who have made it possible. Thank you for all our wonderful Catster friends.

We also would like to thank everyone for their kind notes and advise and well wishes for our Cella. We only hope that she will continue to be watched over by all those wonderful kitty Angels.

Have a Super Nice and Safe Day, don't over due on the snacks for the kitties, just a little treat is best.

Cella's progress report

We are still crossing our paws here. Cella is still having her up and downs. She ate so good the other day and now she has eaten nothing for over 24 hours. She is drinking water and going to the litterbox and wetting several times a day. So know the kidneys are working. She has not done a bowel movement, we keep hoping. To some, this may be to much information, but to us that will be a real milestone.

We have tried everything to get her to eat. Baby foods all meat and some mixed with veggies, tuna water, tuna, and then just good old canned cat foods. She has eaten Pro Plan and Wellness canned once each. I open a new can every time, but no luck, crossed paws.

She is still real friendly, so know she is not feeling well. She has been letting me touch her with out a fuss. Her nose is still stuffed up, but not as bad as in the beginning. Know her smelling abilities are limited and nothing is worth eating.

We would like to thank everyone for all the prayers and messages and ideas. We are open to anything in hopes it will be the magic thing.

We still need prayers for our Cella, I believe they are helping. We need more kitty Angels to look over her shoulders.

A lot of you have asked to be invited to share our big Turkey Dinner. Sure the more the better, we love Catsters to share our big Turkey. Save room for pie and whip cream. Yummy. Dinners at 4 p.m. est. Bring and empty belly.

We do wish all our furrends a super Turkey Day. Be safe and enjoy having your Humans home with you. Make sure to make a big fuss over them so they will want to stay home with you again next month.

Please put our Cella in your prayers

We are so sorry we have not been leaving a diary entry for a while. We have not done to much on Catster for several weeks. We are having a beautiful Fall and there is much to do. The leaves have fallen and now it is time to pick them up and pile them in the outback, way out. Then all the guys can have fun playing in them. They always have so much fun in them. That will keep them busy for weeks.

We did have a nice rain last week and we sure needed it, as it was so dry here. Being at the edge of the state forest we always worry about fires. So the rain was very welcomed.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner as we are all aware of here in the States. Then it will be time for decorating, gift buying and card writing.

Speaking of writing, and I don't want to sound like an ad!!!!

You got to pick up a copy of
Homer's Odyssey by our fellow Catster, Gwen Copper. A super gift for any Cat Lover of all ages. Target has it and Barnes and Noble and Books a Million. As I said, I don't want to sound like an ad, It is just a good wholesome book. A very welcomed change in our world today. It also just happens to be on the New York Times best seller list and for good reason. You just can not put it down once you start it. Girl Human is not a book reader, but read it in a day. Grandma Human and Daughter Human also loved it. She also used some of the money for a real good cause, a blind cat sanctuary.

We do have sad news and ask for your help. We don't want you to use your zealies, save them for Christmas.

Our little Halloween kitty has been very sick. We have been to the Vet with her several times this week. Monday she had awful breath and blood coming from her mouth. Her mouth is just raw. We don't know why. She was throwing up blood and her nose has blood and mucus.

She was fine last week. After the Dr. tested her he discovered her kidneys were not working properly. Blood tests did not reveal any answers. We did have some good news, no Aids or Leukemia. She just has an awful infection, no poisons.

We had to return to the Vet with her on Thursday. He did all kinds of stuff to her. All kinds of meds and 3 units of subQ fluids. She ate real well that night and the next day nothing. She has not touched a drop since 11 pm. Thursday night.

Male Human and Girl Human tried to give her SubQ's today. They both got scratched and the needle got dirty, as Cella pulled it out. Girl Human put on a new needle on, did it in again. Then it came out the skin above where she put it in, went to far. Fluid was leaking out. A third try, another needle and the fluid was still leaking out as fast as it was going in. They loaded her up and back to the vet the three of them went today.

They were given more shot to give her this weekend. The next try poor Cella was crying so the vet tech moved the needle to her rump to give the rest of the fluid.

Poor Cella, sure she feels like a pin cushion. She still will not eat and it has only been 5 hours since we were at the vet.

Her mouth seems some better and her breath does not smell now. Her stuffed nose is better and no more blood. Her kidneys are the issue now. She has only eaten a tablespoon or so of baby food in 2 1/2 days. Know her mouth is still sore. We will try again tonight. The shots are suppose to give her an appetite, but if the kidneys are worse we may not be able to get her threw this.

We don't want you to cry and feel bad. She has had a real good life so far, just a bump in the road. We just want you to give a prayer to comfort her and lead her to the right path. She just needs to be given a little help, as do we. We know that all that can be done is being done for here. We all have Crossed Paws.

Catster has gone back to the way it use to be. They found a solution to the problem so I am told. YESSSSSSSSSSS
