Persian Kittens For Sale in Wisconsin: Breeders List 2026

Share

Catster advocates for adopting before shopping, though we fully understand there are many reasons for seeking a breeder. So, we encourage it to be done the right way. We have not personally visited or investigated all of the breeders below. We have put the top-recommended all in one place for you to get in touch and make the best decision for you. Learn more about our stance and how to choose the right breeder here.

It’s easy to see how anyone could fall in love with a Persian cat. While they may look standoffish, these pets are one of the sweetest animals you can invite into your home. That probably explains the number of listings by hobby breeders that you’ll find. Professional sellers are a bit scarce in this state, with an equally high demand for kittens.

The pro breeders we found took extra care to ensure healthy, high-quality kittens. They offer health guarantees with the necessary pre-breeding screenings for the parents.

The 2 Persian Breeders in Wisconsin

1. Eigenauers Persians

  • Southeastern Wisconsin

Bonnie Griffin runs Eigenauers Persians in rural Wisconsin. She is quite welcome to prospective buyers visiting the cattery to meet the cats in person. The kittens are up to date on all vaccinations and deworming. They are also spay-neutered before they leave the breeder. If not, the buyer agrees to follow through with the procedure and provide proof.

You can also have your kitten shipped with a carrier included in the price. Bonnie provides all the health paperwork, along with a congenital defect guarantee.

2. Extasse Persians

  • Menomonee Falls, WI

Extasse Persians with Sherry Sulivan at the helm have been in business since 1983. You can be sure that you’ll get a well socialized kitten from these breeders. They have also been exposed to dogs. They are committed to protecting the breed and will gladly answer any questions you may have. Many of Sullivan’s cats are champions in the show ring, which attests to their quality.

The kittens come with a health guarantee. They are up to date on their vaccinations and deworming. They are also spayed-neutered, which is included in the price of the kitten.

  1. I am looking for a Persian cat for a lady who lost her Persian recently and I want to know if you can let us know where we can get in touch with someone. We live in Eau Claire, WIS Can you let me know and will appreciate any help you can give me.
    Thank you.
    Shirley Sticjs

    1. Hi Shirley,
It is incredibly kind of you to help search for a new companion for a lady who recently lost her beloved Persian. Losing a pet leaves such a big void, and the quiet, gentle presence of a Persian is truly special.
While specific breeds aren't always available at local shelters every day, there are a few excellent regional resources and rescue groups located right around Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where you can keep an eye out or get in touch with coordinators who specialize in rehoming:
Minnkota Persian Rescue: This is a dedicated, private breed-specific rescue operating across Minnesota and Wisconsin that focuses entirely on helping Persian and Himalayan cats find loving homes. You can look them up online or reach out via phone at (920) 636-6917.
Eau Claire Community Humane Association (ECCHA): Located right in town at 3900 Old Town Hall Road, they are a fantastic local resource. It's always worth giving them a call at (715) 839-4747 or checking their website frequently, as purebred cats do occasionally come into their care.
Chippewa Humane Association: Located just up the road in Chippewa Falls, they frequently take in surrenders and strays from the surrounding area and have great adoption counselors who can keep notes on what you are searching for.
💡 Search Tip: You can also use national adoption search engines like Petfinder.com or Adoptapet.com. You can type in your Eau Claire zip code and filter specifically for the "Persian" breed. This will instantly show you any Persians currently waiting in rescues within a 50-to-100-mile radius of you.
