Wow Russell, this picture made Mum gasp cos it's so like on of her own grandpaw. He was a flier and the pose and unifom are really similar. Next time she's down at granny's she must get a copy of it so we can compare. This is a great picture and you must be feel very proud to be named after such a handsome hero.
I love this photo! Also kind of reminds me of my great-grandpaw Pearse, who was in the Army Air Corps in WWII.
