It Can Only Get Worse !!

Of course ! ,it can only get worse ! Bigotes Brother , I mean Ojitos is taking over !!! Mummy even caught him ( he's still wild !! ) put him in a carrier, took him to the vet and had the BIG operation done on him !!! She brought him home , he was staggering around the house , all woozy after the operation , sick as a Dog ( forgive the pun !).. she carefully put him in MY basket and took him up to bed and looked after him till he came around !! I thought he might die !! Ha ! but unfortunately he pulled through quite nicely....groan ... mind you Mummy is taking care of this feline...... the one and the same feline that bit her a few months ago on the hand ,her fingers swole up like sausages !!! maybe she should have taken the hint at the time !!! and kept away from the whole Bigotes clan !!!! and pay more attention to ME.... I fear she will never learn.....but don't worry Dear Readers, you know me , I won't make it easy on him !!! trust me on that one.....

No !!!!!! Don't let it be true ! It can't be , its Deja Vu ! Mummy has been inviting a new cat in the house !!! she knows full well, its against SIMBA'S RULE....NO other cats are allowed in the house....and to add insult to injury ,gossip says that he is Bigotes Brother !!! I mean really ! what's next ??? Bigotes Uncle ? , Bigotes Nephew ????? .....just exactly how many Bigotes relations are there to be had ????.. and are they ALL moving in ??? .....Is it time to pack up my Catnip Mousie and move on ??????.......he even has a name .....Ojitos.....he is now as we speak sleeping on MY bed.......

Jeter and Me !

Well , there is a lot of catching up to do ! Mummy has been slacking off and not doing her secretarial work for me, don't worry she will pay for it ! I have my ways... First of all there was Nuuuu York as my friend Jeter Harris would say.... Mummy and Daddy went to New York and met Jeter Harris's Mummy and Daddy up there !!! They went and had drinkies together ! Jeter Harris's Mummy introduced Mummy to a drinkie called a Cosmopolitan....but wait don't you see something terribly wrong here ???????? Mummy didn't take ME to New York !!!! Jeter Harris's Mummy didn't take JETER with her ! I mean , they only know each other THANK'S to US !!!!! WE Cats are the reason for CATSTER in the first place !!! The only logical meeting would be Jeter and I up there in Nuuu York City sharing a Catnip Cocktail .....Duh !!!

Crying In Our Beer !!!

Two down and one to go !!!! Football of course !! Of our three teams, Wolfie and I are down to one ......Germany !!!......Mexico !! well we suspected that one ,didn't we ???? : Switzerland ????? Oh, dear !!, we are too embarassed to put paw and pen to paper about those penalties !!! ....
So here we are Wolfie and I ! ready for the big one ! Elisabeth is warming up the T.V. ( and the SNACKS ! I hope ).....Wolfie is getting us a German lager beer .....don't mind if I do Wolfie !! Elisabeth has down herself proud today and made some lovely snacky thing's. Hors d'Oeuvres designed with a Cat in mind !!!Its amazing how a football game can bring on a terrible hunger !!! isn't it ???
The game goes on and on ....." nothings happening , Wolfie !! ,why ?????".........Wolfie offers me a shrimpy on a stick, what a delightful tib bit !.....don't mind if I do !!........."I think we are going to go to penalities !!, Wolfie ! ,I mention aptly ".........( which of course is MY favorite thing to happen as it means more time , and more time means more food !!...Wolfie is just offering me a Sardine on a cracker, when WHAMO !!!! GOAL to Italy !!! .....My Sardine falls to the floor !, Wolfie nearly drops his beer, we are stunned ! ,we can't believe what's happining !!! .....when WHAMO !!! another one !! no, it can not be true !! ......tears are running down Wolfie's cheeks into his beer. I scramble for my dropped Sardine, and grad another two on the way up !.....this terrible loss is going to put at least two kilos on my swelt figure !!!........cheese puff ??? did you ask ??? I hadn't seen those !...yes ,I'll take three, let me see if I can taste them through my tears .......Food is such a comfort at times like this........

SIMBA : King Of The Jungle and Tropics !!!

I caught yet ANOTHER Mousie ! yes ! folks ! count them ! Mousie No. 3 !!!!
I went up to the kitchen screen door, holding on tight to my Mousie......mummy saw me, started to open her mouth and I was off as fast as my furry orange legs could go !!down the stairs again !! with a brillant idea, I could run down the stairs ,around the garden, up the other stairs, open up the screen dooor on the other side into the living room, and there play with my Mousie for a while, bat him around a bit and then stick him under the couch for a while, and bring him out to play with again when I feel like it !! good thinking !!!....as I zip around the corner, run up the stairs two by two .....when RATS !!! she read my mind !!! the glass door is tight shut ! how could she ????????
Yesterday I caught a Lizard.....I left it on the doormat outside the living room door,.... tummy side up.....dead.....
This morning I caught a little Birdie !! ...I left him on the doormat outside the kitchen door.....dead.....
What do you think Mummy ?????? maybe you should just let me in ......the next time I catch a Mousie ???????????
Lets face it , I'm too smart for you and you know it !!!!

Football Fans !!

I haven't been at home to much lately, what with all the football frenzy and all. You know what a fan Wolfie next door is, and how he appreciates my knowledge on the game. Mummy and daddy are no fun, they hardly watch at all, and when I want to discuss important things like goal average, they just look at me with their mouths open, so I hot foot it over to Wolfie's place, and there we sit glued to the screen. You also know that Wolfie is German -Swiss and lives here in Mexico, so that's three teams we have to watch intently !! to begin with......I must have a little German in my makeup too, as Elisabeth always speaks to me in German, and I understand every word.
I know Wolfgang likes to have me there as company as I always have a good question to ask , like, .... " Oh !, you say,half time is coming up, does that mean its SNACK TIME ????? ".........or..." Yes ! Wolfie, I wouldn't mind another spoonful of Anchovey Dip and a cracker !! ", .....and " My , Elisabeth makes a mean croissant, doesn't she ???"
So, I say YEA !!! to football, may all of our teams win, !!! may they play forever, and keep the snackypoos coming.....as I waddle home after another exciting game.......see you tomorrow Wolfie !!!!

Mousie

I caught a Mousie today !!
I brought it up to the kitchen screen door, and presented it to mummy ! I was waiting for her to open the door , present me with a Rosette ( at least !) for being such a clever cat, when all she did was wail ,Pussydoo ,NO! the poor little Mousie !. She took it away from me and hid it !!!......I was very mad........

I caught a Second Mousie today !!!!!
I brought it up to the kitchen screen door, and presented it to mummy ! I was waiting for her to open the door and present me with two Rosettes ( at least) for being an extremely clever cat !, when ....OH ! NO !!! she's not getting this one, and as soon as she started wailing again, I took one look at her, grabbed my Mousie tight ,and went running off down to the garden again !! ( I ask you !! why do I bother ?????? )

1....I know Mummy loves me,because she is aware of how important it is to have all my meals ready for me on time, and to be attentive during the day to make sure I have plenty of snacks.....
2....I know Mummy is aware that she has to keep one eye constantly on the door,to be ready spring to action at my desire to be let in or out..and if I shouldn't be able to decide exactly what it is I DO want, she knows not to pressure me, as I sit in the doorway, half in, half out, contemplating these difficult decisions is it .. In??? or Out??? ...Out ??? or maybe In ???
3.....Mummy knows how important it is to look after my sleeping needs...that is ,I need MY space on the bed, to be able to stretch out like a strip of bacon, and that she should position herself around me, without disturbing me so I can get a good nights rest, and be ready for the next day of snacking and napping !!
4....Mummy knows that I need a wide range and variety of toys to keep me amused. I made her get me an expensive Laser Pointer as all my friends have one and enjoyed watching her frantically try to get me interested in it, after a while I got bored, and to her chagrin went into the garden and had fun playing with a dried leaf....
5.....Mummy also knows the importance of keeping my various baskets always clean, pillows nicely plumped up, just in case I should decide to use one of them, of course if either Mummy or Daddy are working on the computer or writing papers, that is usually the preferred place of my relaxation.....I don't like them to feel lonely !!


6...Mummy also realizes how important it is to always allow my curiosity to be fufilled and my natural sense of orderlyness to be allowed to flourish !.I am quite wonderful at organizing her drawers, filing Daddy's papers. I'm also a wonder in the kitchen, and left for a while alone in the cupboard with the pots and pans, I can do a wonderful job of re-organizing !!
All in all, I know you will agree that I AM the Perfect Cat.....and I wish my Mummy a "Happy Mummy's Day !!!!.".....from her Pussydoo....SIMBA
