Arrival Story:
Our family still lived at the resort resturant when one late night coming home we heard a crazy noise coming from the woods across the street. We thought it was a bird so we did not think much of it. Well the next night one of the staff informed my brother that a kitten had just went down my our marina gas pump. By the time we both got down there it had crawled up inside of the pump, we heard the same noise coming from the kitten as the night before. We got milk and chicken whatever to try and get it out but there was no use. Sowe got out the tool box and tore the facing off the pump, here sat a little bitey ball of fur crashed in the corner of the pump, scared out of its mind. I took it out and brought her home. My dad was furious when I brought it over to show him, he said there was no way we were keeping it. We brought it in to the vet to find out it was only about 4-5 weeks old. We kept her in a huge dog cage since we were afraid the dogs would get to her, but Shadow insited it was his kitten and laid by the cage all day. We couldn't find anyone to take it so Gizmo found a way into our home.

Bio:
Gizmo was orginally the kittens name since it made "Gizmo" noises when it ate. Now I call Giz an "it" because the vet thought it was a boy. When Giz went in to be nuetered my mom called me at work and said they couldn't neutered Giz instead she had to be spay, I was so happy to finally have a female animal, all the rest were boys. So we changed her name to Gizzy. Gizzy grew up into a very angery and crabby cat. She is VERY sassy!! But either way we still love her and she sure is cute though! Giz loves to be on my moms lap, she sure is grandmas girl, any time my mom sits down in the family room Giz shows up ready to snuggle under the covers. And even though she's such a crab it sure is worth it those times we catch her snuggling with the other cats.
