Arrival Story:
I was found in the country in 1991 by a woman I thought was nice. :-| After living with said woman and being her companion for 17 years, she decides she wants to move to Chicago, and can't be bothered to take me with her. The local crazy cat lady where she worked volunteered to take me so that my "companion" wouldn't put me to sleep. I've been living with my new fambly for about a month now, and although the hew-mans are nice to me, I'd rather be back in my old digs. (preferably clawing the eyes out of that $%#@&! for not caring about me as much as I cared about her!) I'm also missing most of my teefs. THANKING YOU GOOD PEOPLE IN ADVANCE! I want to thank everybody for the sweet gifts and kind words you have all sent my way :-) I have replied to some "in person", but I can't remember which ones :-( so I'm including everyone in here!

Bio:
Smudge went over the Rainbow Bridge this morning, August 1. She was in the end stages of kidney failure, and wasn't feeling very good anymore, and hadn't been allowed outside in the sun for two months, as she had also been suffering from uncontrollable diarrhea. But, yesterday, she was given a bath and blow dried, and then allowed to sit in the sun and wander around in the yard (supervised ;-)) for as long as she wanted. She purred the whole time, and then took a nap on the back porch. She had a good long life, she was 19 years old. We miss her dearly :-(
