Is that patio awning open? Whatcha going to do about the birdie's nest if it isn't?
Hi Samsara, no, the awning isn't open. This happens every year in the Spring and we're not sure why they like building their nest on the arms of the awning. Alot of the nesting material falls on the ground and they leave alot of poop too!
I think they build it there every
year because they know they're
pretty safe there. They know you
won't bother them because you never
Yup, downside is the poop, but my
mom thinks it would be cool to see
the babies grow up!
That's so cool! They are modern birds, they wanted a slick waterproof roof and fancy decorative stripes. I bet they brag to all their birdy friends about their flat white "branch" that doesn't blow in the wind like all the other birds' primitive homes.
Very cool, if not a bit messy!
