Very high jumper, excellent bug and mouse catcher. Louie comes when he is called, even if he is sleeping and calling his name wakes him up.

Arrival Story:
We adopted Louie from a rescue shelter in California when he was around three months old. He was our first cat.

Louie tries to get outside all the time. Usually when he gets outside, he gets scared and hides and has to be retrieved from under some hiding place. His most recent escape lasted one hour. He was found prowling around the driveway, probably looking for bugs.

I am a hunter

I have been on a mission lately. Ever since we have been allowed to go outside I have caught and killed (and brought into the house) at least three birds (some reduced to feathers by morning), one mouse and one lizard.
Good times!

Crankiness is a gift

As you can see by my newest picture, I am often a cranky kitty. This is mostly because my people think I should stay safe inside when I really just want to go outside and catch birds.
To make matters worse, my people have put up birdfeeders right outside the good napping windows. It's just not right.

So, last week, Dad came home with a new kitten. Nickels Pickles.
At first, I did not like the new addition. But after a while, I got used to the little guy.
Now I am teaching him all my tricks, like how to sneak up on a toy mouse and how to remind Mom that it's dinner time.
I think he'll fit in just fine.
