We Want To Apologize To ALL Our Furriends

To all our furriends who got cards & packages returned to them, we are so very sorry. When we opened the po box the lady gave us the VERY wrong zip code and we just found out a few days ago. Meowmy tried to get them to put a hold on our mail in Radium Springs (where everything went) but we think we found out to late. We are soooo, soooo very sorry that mew's wasted money on us :( PLEASE, PLEASE, know it was a post office error and not intentional. We are heartbroken over it :*(

After all this time on Catster we still don't know how these difficult decisions are made but thank you all soo very much for picking me for such an honor.

Bridge Chuckles....

I am having such a fun time here with all my Angel furriends and family!!! I can't believe the warm welcome i received when i got here *wipes tears of joy from his eyes* Thank you Angels!!! I'll tell you my furriends, there's sooo much to do so i am trying to learn but i have to take pause sometimes and just chuckle at my meowmy...when she stands up she better hold on to something cuz i know her booty's gotta be numb! She's been trying to get our thank you's sent and i heard her telling my beautiful sister Scrappy that we have such wonderful furriends and they shouldn't be kept waiting! There's still soooo many families to send to so guess what meowmy, aren't you glad keyboards don't give you bloody finger tips?!!?

Well, I want to quit laughing at my crazy human (it's hard tho...and she calls US silly!! SHE'S THE ONE who can't straighten her arms...LMTO!!!)

Seriously tho, I want to thank YOU, my furriends, for reaching out to my family with your unwavering kindness and words of encouragement! I tell you, there are no amount of words that can express our gratitude but please know that we are here for each and every one of yous too!!! Just meowoof (the cat in me don't let that last part out without the meow!!! ) it to us!!!

Meowmy will be back at it tomorrow and my family will be back to their groups as well. Thank you for being so patient with us over these past few months with our kitties going to the bridge and me being sick. It's been hard for us to be here as much as we want to be. And thank you for understanding that my family needed this time to mourn for me. Meowmy's heart will be sad for some time to come, but my aura is all over our house and she takes comfort in that.

Oh My Furriends...

Sorry we couldn't do this before now but it has been a very hard day for my meowmy. We will answer all your mails and send thank you's to everyfur but I ask that you have patience with my human, as she still can't keep her eyes dry.

I want to tell you all what happened because we ALL thought i would pull thru this too. First of all let me tell you that i lost the battle to FIP but i had that under control til i went and got shot up...while my body was trying to heal from the major surgery, it was unable to fight the disease as well. I had what we thought was going to be my last surgery on the 25th. On the 27th I starting having a little blood in my stools and later that same night i was urinating nothing but blood. They started me on a heavy dosing of antibiotics and gave me a shot of B-12 to try and give my immune system a little boost. Well some of the swelling went away and it didn't hurt as bad so we all thought the being unresponsive thing was my way of healing. My eyes were clear and there was no other sign that i wasn't going to make it...and we all know i was good at being unresponsive when i didn't feel well. The antibiotics just didn't work fast enough and i basically bled to death internally.

At 3:15 this a.m. meowmy got a call from the tech who was making rounds. He was my pal and always stopped in to pet me. He noticed blood running from my nose and he hurried up and called my meowmy and told her she needed to get there as quick as she could. He met her at the door and rushed her back to me. She held me and talked to me and told me what a brave boy i am and how much stronger i am than any fur should ever have to be and she held me and rocked me and she cried for me and rocked me some more. At 3:45 I put my paw on meowmy's cheek and purrred gently for her and at 3:48 I closed my eyes and went to sleep for the last time.

I want to thank YOU, My most favorite tech, who shall remain nameless so you don't get in trouble, for loving me enough to not let me die alone. For that, me & my meowmy will love you forever!!!

Well, needless to say, I am a devilish little Angel and the human that set all this in motion will be haunted by me for the rest of his days on earth!!!

At about 6 a.m., my beautiful sister Scrappy put my pic up in our group and meowmy logged off to try to get herself together...boy is that a wasted effort as she's STILL a wreck!!! She can't handle being alone with her own thoughts so she let the kitties come in to play with their furriends and what a surprise she found!!! So very many stars and wings and letters from furriends and furriends we didn't even know we had!!

So, I brushed her tears away with a beautiful Angel Wing and gave her some of my new found strength. Me and my family want to thank each and every one of you for the never-ending purrrs for me while i was fighting for my life and now for your purrrs and words of encouragement for my family now that I'm an Angel. Each and evey one of you, whether we knew you or not, hold a special place in our hearts and we love you so much for the love you have given so freely to me and my family.

It may take a few days but we will answer each and every one of you (she's STILL trying to catch up from my first surgeries!!). THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH. As inadequate as that sounds to us, it's all we have to give back to you.

Kool-Kat Hangout :) & Not Quite An Update

So we have our group up (for a little over a month) and it's starting to get going pretty good :) It's called Kool-Kat Hangout but our doggy furriends are more than welcome to join too :) It's open to everyfur who wants to just hang out and have fun and make furriends. Right now we're limited on things to do game wise but we do have some Holiday things happening and a couple prize activities so we'd love to see our furriends there, and their furriends and their furriends furriends and...well,mews get the idea :) ... so come on by here...

We don't really have an update for mews right now. I have some problems due to the FIP and not the surgery. We don't want to worry mews so we'll wait to see what the doc says. I will say that I DON"T get to go home today as planned, which really bites cuz I've been looking SOOOOOO forward to the ham i KNOW is waiting for me!!! Meowmy can't even sneak any to me...first of all cuz it's not cooked yet (what's up with that meowmy? ) and second because i'm on a bland diet *frowns* Talk about stuff that has NO flavor!!! Well, surely nobody expects a green chili eating fool cat like me to settle for something like canned tuna fish!!!

Well, hope eveyfur and their families had a pawtastic Thanksgiving. Mews were all in my thoughts tho i couldn't be here :) Now I wish mews all a purrific day!

A Quick Update...

My surgery went well. There were 2 bb's right next to eachother so they took them both out. That wasn't very nice for someone to shoot me in my skinny booty...it's not like I have a whole lot there to spare...mol!!! They've been keeping me rather dopey and i'm even more so right now so i thinks i'm going back to sleep right now (besides, meowmy's on the puter at the doc's, she gets to stay til 10:30). Well, I hope nobody thinks we deserted our group...we haven't so please keep it going...we'll be back in a cpl days...well, my sisfurs will be. I don't get to go home til Monday :( I tell mews, i think they think i like it here or something!! Well, I'm going back to lala land!! Thank you every fur so much and my family is wishing you all a safe, happy & Blessed Thanksgiving :)

Holiday Card Exchange!!

Here I Am :)

Sorry it's been a little bit since being here but you know how terrible meowmy is at keeping up with things...certainly worse than the rest of us!!

So, last Sunday Tokay beat me up pretty good. Had to have some stitches on the inside replaced. Been resting for the most part. I meowed to meowmy that i was gonna beat her booty when i got to feeling better but she said it's bad for boys to beat up on grrrls and i'm not allowed...isn't it bad that grrrls beat up on boys??? Well, she did get her punishment tho...she has to spend the nights in the bathroom now where she can't beat up on any of us like she's so good at doing.

And do you guys see what meowmy did to me??? *looks crossly at his meowmy* AS IF i don't have enough problems, SHE decides to turn me into a mouthwatering lookin Turkey!!! In case she hasn't noticed, i am a skinny little cat, NOT a FAT roasted turkey!!!

On Wed. the 25th i go in for my next surgery and hopefully it will be the last one. They'll have to do xrays to make sure the bb hasn't moved and all the others are safely way from any damagable spots. I won't get to be home with my family for thanksgiving so meowmy had best be on the ball about sneaking me some....oh, i've seen enough TURKEY!!! You hear that meowmy??? HAM!!! If you don't smuggle me some HAM, i'll...why i'll... i'll bite your arm dang it!!!

Meowmy may not get back to this til late thursday or friday but so far I'm getting better! I love yous all my furriends & hope you all have a purrrific Thanksgiving!!!
