Now Mom doesn't feel very good!

They took her to the human vet place last Monday and kept her there for a couple of days. She said she hurt in her chest and felt like I was hugging her way too tight. They did all kinds of things to her that made us feel really bad for her - it looked like it really hurt! But - she told us that they gave her stuff that made it better for her. Then they said they didn't know what was wrong. They said it might be "stress" - whatever that is! They gave her some pills and she takes them alot better than we ever did! She says the pain almost all goes away when she takes their pills - but she gets kind of sleepy. All of us are trying to make her feel better but we just don't know what to do except hug her and purr! So - please - all my friends - purr really hard for my mom that she will feel alot better really soon! Purrs - Dusty

My first diary!

Mom is typing this - I can type, but she says no one can read it except me! I am sitting here adding my stuff in, too, tho - she can't keep me away from the keyboard! I am a 19 year old who (Mom says) is slowing down - I don't consider it slowing down - I just don't need to check everything out now that I know what it all is! I got really thin a few weeks ago - Mom thought I was going to cross the bridge. But she kept giving me some good treats and lots of loving and I am doing so much better now! I have even started running around the house more! She gets mad at me when I eat the doggie food - but I do it anyway every chance I get! I don't care much for Stubby and Charmin - they came here a long time after the rest of us (Spot is my older brother - what a wus! And Bugsy and Kitty are my litter-mates - we have been together forever!). Stubby still wants to play all the time and she chases us! We have way too much dignity for that! Charmin just has a bad attitude - sometimes I try to let him know that, but Mom steps in and tells us to knock it off! I drive Dad nuts - when Mom is in her room with the computer, I sit outside the door and cry for her! She doesn't let us in there much - she says we make a mess and she won't let us sleep with her anymore. She says there isn't enough room for 6 of us kitties, Dad and her on the king size bed! And Kitty always tries to wake her up in the night to pet him! Well - Mom says this is enough for now - she has other kitties that don't have a diary yet. Why do they need one - I can say everything for them! Oh, well - someday they will learn that I am the one to listen to!!!!!!
