Patches was a total mistake on my neighbor's part. He brought her over to my house thinking she was our other cat, Q-tip. I told him no, that she wasn't familiar to me at all. Of course from then on I'd sit outside with her and feed her (my dad didn't want her in the house, didn't want her period). I sat with her so much and kept feeding her, that my dad told me, "Fine, if you want to keep her, then you better take her to the vet!" So off I went to the vet to get her shots and have her spayed.
She was definitely a "momma's kitty." She'd had a tough time with her severe Ginigivitis, but all of her teeth fell out/had been pulled. She was more active after that, and loved to eat. She was my first cat, and stayed with me until her last breath. I loved her more than anything because she had been there for me through good times and bad. On June 7, 2004, Patches had been diagnosed with Feline Leukemia and FIV. I decided to not let her suffer anymore. I will miss Patches. She was my everything. Rest in Peace Patches. Wait for me in heaven...
Bio:
She was diagnosed with feline leukemia and FIV virus in May 2004. Shortly after she was put down. It was the hardest day of my life and I'll miss her terribly.
