Her little red ball and any available feather toy.

Somewhere warm and high or the computer chair.

ANYTHING!! Shasta is known to eat everything from cereal to spaghetti (although we don't LET her eat it)

Arrival Story:
My husband and I had gone to the local humane society to "just look around." We found out the the pet food recall had caused a very large increase in the amount of feline surrenders. The humane society had over 125 cats available for adoption; most with UTI or common cold (but their owners thought they had medical issues to the recalled pet food--amazing). Anyway, the pound was offering an "adopt one, get one free" on cats. So, we wanted to help (since we have the room and LOVE animals). We adopted Shasta and Tator :)

Hi! My name is Shasta. Mom calls me Shassy. I think it's because I'm Sassy + Shasta = Shassy. I'm a spaz. Well, that's what my mom says. I like to play ball. I mean, where is my ball? Have you heard of ADHD in kids? Mom says I have something like that. Where is that ball? Oh, a bug on the glass! I'm gonna goooooooooooooo geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet iiiiiiiiiiiiit!! Wait, I have to go potty. Anyway, I don't know why she calls me Shassy. Where is Maggie? Is she sleeping again?

POUNCE!

"Boo!" says Shassy to a sleeping Maggie! "Hey, you smell like you've been outside. Sniff, sniff. That reminds me, I need to go find my ball."

...and away Shassy goes looking for her ball--again. Shassy never completes a mission before starting a new one. Welcome to Shassy's world!
