Arrival Story:
This past Tuesday evening I was outside with my dogs scooping up their unmentionables. Clyde kept going in the bushes next to my house and I thought that he was either looking for his ball or had found the black snake that on Sunday was in the front yard. So, of course, I told him to get out the bushes. He did and that's when I heard two little meows. I went over to the bushes and there was this little kitten all by himself crying. So I picked the kitten up and took him inside. I didn't see or hear any other kittens and I didn't see his mom either.
Bio:
Patrick went to the vet yesterday. He is about three weeks old and weighs 9.6 ounces. He's finally got the hand of a bottle and has gone to work with me the past two days and already has a forever home waiting for him when he gets big enough. When we got home from the vet his mom was outside on the back porch waiting for him. I put him with her for a little bit and then brought him back inside. This morning when I woke up at 5:30 mom was still out there and this afternoon when I came home from work she was still here. I left food and water out there for her and a box with a towel in case she did have other kittens. Sp far she hasn't brought anymore kittens. In fact right now their on the back porch together in a portable crate.

I'm still doing great in my new home!!!!! My new kitty sister Oreo and me are used to each other now!!!! In the mornings when we get up we start looking for each other!!!!! She's even playing with me now which is great since I really like to play!!!! I like to play the Great Mighty Hunter game and try to catch my prey with precision quickness!!!!! I know my foster mom still misses me and sometimes she wishes she could have me back, but she knows that this is where I belong and that I'm already spoiled by my new family!!!!!!

I did just great this past week-end at my new forever home!!!! Oreo, my new sister, followed me around the house and just wasn't quite sure what to think of me!!!!!! I'm getting used to my new home. My new mom called my foster mom to let her know that I was doing good. I know she misses me, but she knows that I'll be really happy with my new family. We even had a bunch of company over for Easter. Boy, was I ever tuckered out and took a long nap after everyone left. Then, yesterday, I got to go to work with my new mom and spend the day with my Aunt Carolyn, Aunt Darlene, and my foster mom in their office just like I got to do so many times before going to my forever home. My new mom says she'll bring me to work with her every couple of weeks so everyone can see how big I'm getting.

I am so excited. I get to spend the week-end with Diane who is going to be my new mommy!!!! I'm going to meet my new sister Oreo too!!!!! She's only four months old and I just know we'll be the best of friends!!!!! I do miss my first mom too though and I just know without a doubt that she's missing me too, but we'll be ok. I'm also eating regular kitten food too. Aunt Jennifer weaned me from the bottle while she was watching me for mom who had to go out of town for work for four days. My teeth are all coming in too and boy are they sharp!!!!! My new said she will bring me to work with her once a week so I can still visit with my old mom!!!! Yeah!!!! I'm so lucky to have so many people who love me!!!!!
