Arrival Story:
We had been leaving food on our patio for the stray cats (and apparently racoons and oppossums) in the neighborhood. Stottlemeyer came over to us and let us pet her. She eventually sat on our laps and came over more and more frequently. So we decided to add her to our brood. Unfortunately, Stot was diagnosed with an oral SCC in November 2008. We had been getting her a lot of holistic treatment and medication, but she finally succumbed to the cancer on February 10, 2009.

Diary of a Mad Cat

4 Weeks Being Incarcerated

It has now been a month since those humans snatched me up from the patio and stuck me in their apartment. The first day they catnapped me, I was stuck in a little box with a very prison-eque barred door on the front and taken on a bumpy ride to some building where I smelled many other cats and dogs too. Some unknown humans touched me what I considered inappropriately...at one point I blacked out and when I awoke, I felt some slight pain in several areas of my body.

After that I was placed in what I have come to know as "April and Jeff's Room". There is a smaller room inside that room in which the humans April and Jeff placed a litter box for me. A few days went by and after that, things only got worse.

I gained access to the entire apartment, but around the apartment lurk 3 other cats, including a rather annoying little tabby calico one that is often referred to as "Scrump". I have been proactive and hiss and swat at the little demons every chance I get.

I have meowed and meowed for those humans to let me back outside, but to no avail. One day I actually did escape, but I stupidly came back to the patio and that human Jeff abducted me again.

Not only that, but I have been taken back to that strange building that smells of other cats and dogs a couple more times. After the last visit, I was placed back in "April and Jeff's Room" and have now been imprisoned there for several days. And that human Jeff has been trying to force horrible tasting little round pellets down my throat. It is nice not having to deal with those 3 other cats, but I WANT OUT!
