yeah no insulin for now..

after having it reduced to 1/2 unit and reading 91 I am going off vetsulin for 4 days then testing blood and hopefully staying off for a while or forever!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vet again

Took a few times to get "regulated" started off at 3 units 2 times a day of insulin injections beggining Oct 3oth. Last 2 weeks 1 unit 2 times a day and my BG test was 94 today. Vet thinks DM food helped alot to reduce insulin.. Still hate shots !!! meow!

I have Diabetes

I have diabetes and just started insulin shot tonight and a new food hopefully it wil help . Blood sugar was 500 and the Dr. called me back tonight after the test results confirmed I have diabetes. I will have several Dr. apointments until I get regulated. Meow me luck. My mom is really scared, Tia the dog licks me and dad is sad yet strong :)

Vet

Tia and I went to the vet with mom. Vet called me geriatric , I should have clawd her eyes out. But I blew if off becaue staff kept saying how beautiful I am and kept stoping in to gawk at me. Then they took me from my mom just to show me off!! I rock!! Meooooooooooow..

p.s.Vet told mom to weigh me monthly to see if I loose anymore weight.. I lost a pound and I guess that is not good but I am not worried.

I cut myself

I spazzed out in the car at times on the trip from Pa to MN and home. I meowed like ooooooooeeeeew and smashed my nose against the kennel until I bled. I only did that a few times. Now I'm home and ok...

Travels

Meeoooooooooow! Mommy and Daddy made me ride in the car for 8 hours yesterday. I was scared my nose got red! it's still red. 8 more hours in the car today too. MEEOOOOOOOOOOW.. can't wait to get to MN..

Christmas ba! humbug

Meooow, gotta go on a road trip a long one! I will howl for hours on end and eat the ribbons off presents and then barf it up! My mom thought by putting the ribbon presents under others I would be denied .. WRONG, I managed to manipulate the box just right. BRB.... (ralf.............. oh red ribbon maybe mom will think it's blood and give me more catnip....) .. gotta run I hear Tia..

Birthday

Had my 13th birthday Sunday August 27th. Had catnip and treats.. Also groomed. nice relaxing day! meow!
