I am naughty!

I am naughty-and I love it! Last night, when Mommy and Daddy went to bed I began my nightly naughtiness spree. Socks, my brother, tries to be good and go to bed when Mom and Dad do. But I can trick him and bring him to the dark side-with me!

Last night, the lights were turned out (that way no one could see Ninja Sassy) and I began running. I didn't just run a little. I ran all over the house. I ran in front of Socks darting in and out. I know this is the best way for him to come over to the dark side with me and play. He's such a follower :) I found a pair of Daddy's socks laying around and I threw them up in the air and pounced on them. I ran on the coffee table, up Mommy's curtains, on the chair I'm not supposed to scratch (whatever!). Socks ran after me. We were making such noises! Until...Mommy got up and spoiled all the fun. She took the sock from me. She took Socks back to bed.

She knows just how to ruin all the fun at night. Until tomorrow night- Naughtiness WILL reign!

"Modeling" for Mommy

My mommy knits. One of her good friends is pregnant and she has been knitting lots of goodies lately. Well, yesterday she was knitting a hat. I was taking a nap. When I woke up, I had something on my head. My mommy was using me as a model to see what the hat would look like! I am a cat not a baby. I let her put the hat on me. My brother just looked at me as if I looked stupid (which I think I did!). Anyway, she took a picture too. How humiliating!

A Week with Socks

Well, I know I was unsure of Socks last week. Now, he and I play together like crazy! He is fun and just what I needed. We chase each other and pounce on each other and go after one another's tails. I guess my mommy and daddy did have my best interest at heart and thought about me when they picked him out. He doesn't put up with me beating him up anymore. He will fight back. I like that! Don't get me wrong, there are still some areas that Socks and I are not perfect with yet. For instance, Socks still cannot sleep WITH me. He can sleep next to me but definitely not with me. I can get a little wild when we play. Apparently, he isn't ready for that and cries when I'm too rough. He just needs to toughen up!

New "Friend"

I use the term "friend" very loosely. I don't know what's wrong with my mommy and daddy! Mommy left yesterday and told me that she might be back with a surprise. Well, I was looking forward to this! There were so many things that it could be: a new feather toy, scratching post, or maybe even some treats. To my dismay, she came home with this mewing/chirping, wobbly, furry creature!!! His name is Socks. He smells kind of funny. And can you believe he had the nerve to hiss at me!!! Does he not know who I am??? I must put him in his place at MY house!

Banned!

I don't think it's too much to be allowed to sleep in the same room as my mommy and daddy. You see, this week when they go to sleep I would go with them. We would all curl up together. I would knead my mommy's skull and fall asleep in her hair. That's how it's supposed to be. But now, I'm banned from their room! How did it all happen? All I do is wake up just a little bit before them. I believe they told me it was about 4:00 AM. I want to play. Well, my daddy's feet are hanging off the bed uncovered! So, what do I do? I jump on them! Oh what fun! He doesn't seem to think so. He takes me out of the bedroom and shuts the door. That means no more games with them. I love playing with them so much. Later on in the week, I was afraid my mommy wasn't going to wake up in the morning to go to work. (I was so good because I didn't jump on daddy's feet all night. ) So, I got on the bed and walked over to the nightstand and began pushing things on the floor. It must have made a lot of noise because I woke her up! Yay!! She won't be late!! I was banned again from the room for that. She was telling me something about it being 2:30 in the morning and she needed to sleep. I think I'm just misunderstood.
