indoors and outdoors Arrival Story: My daughter and I were waiting at a stoplight on the corner of James St. and Midler Ave. My daughter spotted a tiny kitten at the corner, looking as if he would dart out into traffic at any moment. I quickly turned the corner and pulled over, and my daughter jumped out of the car and grabbed him. Since we already had a cat, I insisted we would not keep him, but he was too adorable to give away! He loved to curl up in our laps, look us in the eyes and purr away (which he still does, several years later). We couldn't resist. He got his name (James) from the name of the street we found him on. A couple of days later, while driving down the same road, I saw two more tiny kittens, but they were in the road and had suffered the worst fate. I'm glad we were at least able to save James. I would like my friends to know that my dog sister, Coco, passed away in June 2011. She was almost 17 years old. Please watch my video and see how close our family is. We all miss Coco so much.
