Arrival Story:
A friend and I were going to a movie at a local mall. She leaned over the bannister and said "Oh, look. They have dogs downstairs. I wanna go look. Fifteen minutes later, I was crying while I filled out the adoption forms on Rags. He wasn't exactly an impulse. I'd been looking for another kitty for some time.
Bio:
Rags was abandoned in an empty house with no food or water for an unknown time. A neighbor saw him in a window and was able to unlock another window and rescue him. However, he didn't really want a cat and, after a couple of weeks, relinquished Rags to the SPCA. At the time I got him, he weighed 3 lbs. Normal for an adult male Ragdoll is 15-20 lbs. We're slowly getting him to eat again. He was given intravenous feeding for several days before being put up for adoption. I had my own vet check him out, he's healthy. He was just starved.
