Dearest darling Calvin,
You are the reason I wake up with a smile in the mornings, your furry little self either trying to take over my pillow, snuggle into my arms or just keep my ears warm as you sit on my head. When we first saw you, Boo fell in love with your purr, and as you as a teeny tiny kitten went right up to him and cuddled up to him, I knew you two were meant to be together. You are so incredible at being cute, yet you hardly pose or saunter... you just seem to be laid back and good at reminding us how important snuggles and play are for us!
I love you so,
Your Mommie. This is a special Tail of Devotion

Its a bit warm today. Good for a nap.
Charlotte is sitting on the window sill, waiting for some passing birds to talk with. Boo is half napping, yet still keeping an eye on me in case I do anything interesting. I am rather happy to just relax on my armchair and enjoy the laziness of a lovely warm afternoon.
Mind you, it isnt always this peaceful and lovely.
The other night there was a very large storm. I was quietly napping on Mom, when a huge flash of bright light woke her up. This in itself was not much ofa problem... it was the HUGE boom of thunder which so quickly followed...
...in a flash Mom had fallen out of bed, bouncing me across the room, thankfully I landed well on a sleeping Boo. Together we jumped and bounced off the walls, Mom blearily wondering what was going on, while we stirred Charlotte into action. Soon we were all wreaking my favorite game upon the hallways as we chased up and down a few times, played bounce along the edges of the cat tree, and pretty much had a bit of a rampage.
That was really fun actually. Might have to try to pretend to be like thunder next time we have a storm to see if I can get Mom to fall out of bed again.
We have a nice new kitty litter we are using, except Charlotte doesnt like it and keeps leaving her 'messages' next to the litter boxes. I keep telling Mom it isnt me, but I am not very sure if she believes me.
Mmmm, time to stretch and have another nap.
Calvin

They brought us here - to this glass box which overlooks the street on one side, and the vet surgery on the other. My sister hasnt been feeling too well - her eyes are looking weepy. I miss my mommy, I worry about my sister who curls up with me, I wonder what will happen to either of us. Lots of strange people come and say hello - my sister plays with them through the glass, and I show what big eyes I have. I wonder if any of these strangers will be the ones to take us home.
The vet is kind, and gives us toys and cuddles. The food isnt bad either. Shredded paper bits are good to stick through the bottom of the glass door. Kind of funny to see them sweep up floor around us.
Oh look - there is another cat that looks a little like my sister. He looks big and have huge teeth and big big claws... but he looks afraid. Why would such a big cat be scared? They are really nice here, and they take good care of us. The big big cat looks at me, and I look at him. The big cat seems to calm down and seems interested in me - perhaps he likes to play? I like to play.
Some odd people come over, and the vet takes me and my sister out of the glass box. My sister is cuddled by the vet, while the strangers gently place me next to the big cat. Ooo - the big cat is a boy just like me! I will purr at him and help him to calm down - there really isnt anything to worry about! See, I like it alright here!
My sister is placed back in the glass box, her eyes are really looking a bit foggy. I am placed into a carrier with the big cat, he says his name is Boo. I cuddle up to him and he seems happy. I briefly wonder what will happen to my sister, yet I know she is in the best hands - the vet is really good with us, and has been looking to find us good homes with trusted people.
Huge excitements as we travel in the carrier in a car! The carrier is held up so we can see out the windows - look at how fast the trees rush past! The car seems to slow and we are taken into a house.
Look at how much space there is here! Boo wanders out of the carrier slowly, another big cat is waiting for him it seems. Her name is Charlotte. I stick my head out of the carrier to say hello to my new big sister... *hiss* Wow! Ok, I might stay in my carrier for a little while, but not for too long, look at all the toys and yummy treats and look at the cat tree! this is great fun!!!
I think I will tease Charlotte and chase her around the house till she gets used to me... Charlotte is bigger, but I jump better!
