Can you believe it? I'm Diary Pick today after Bail was yesterday! Thank you Diary Gal for honoring us!

I also thank my pawsome friends for their gifts and concats:

1. ANGEL BUDDIE & Family - pawsome pawmail;
2. TATE - yummy turkey;
3. MILO BLUE EYES - cool comment;
4. SMILEY CASSANOVA - pawsome pawmail;
5. TIGER - yummy pumpkin pie.

Also, Mommy made Thanksgiving pics last night and she's going to put them on my page right now. They're not the best as her software has a selection of Thanksgiving picture frames that leave a lot to be desired. She's going to make more from some of the online fancy frame places.

Well, I got to run so she can load up the pics.

Mommy promised me that she'll be making me some Thanksgiving pics tonight. You see, this will be my very first Thanksgiving! I hope Mommy has this kind of meat called "turkey" (conveyed by her and my brothers as being yummy!)

Secondly, Mommy let me watch my first "Catnip Video" which was a bunch of chirping birds. She took two pics of Landy and I watching it and will load them onto our pages soon. I can't wait!!

Third, I concat Bail on his Diary Pic today and also President Obama on his victory.

Well, I got to run and let Mommy get ready for a doctor's appointment and eventually her workplace.

Again, I jumped into the shower with Mommy. I did it Saturday, Sunday and Monday (today). Once I actually went under the shower head portion. You see, Mommy's shower head doesn't spray hard enough and the full impact of the spraying water doesn't reach the far end of the tub. That's where I jump in and get my feet a little wet. Twice I headed toward the shower head area then I ran to the far end of the tub and jumped out. Still, I'm intrigued by water. I hug my water dishes too and stick my feet in them. I also jump in the kitchen sink every morning too.

I also like stealing my brother's food. You know, the grass is always greener on the other side. They also like to steal my food too. I suppose all kitties like to sample each others grub.

Lastly, Mommy hasn't been feeling too well all weekend and today. She says the her right side feels sore (not as bad as Saturday when it first happened). She thinks it's from eating too much Halloween candy during the week and it caught up with her. She hopes it's nothing serious. Anyway, she does have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday. I'll purr for her extra!

Well, that's it. I'm bored now as I tired out my brothers and they're all sleeping.

First of all, I thank the Diary Gal for honoring me again as one of the Diary Picks today! WOO-HOO! My brothers have taught me how to write good diaries! This diary was about, of course, Halloween.

I also thank my pawsome friends for their concats and gifts:

1. ANGEL BUDDIE & Family - pawsome pawmail;
2. SMILEY CASSANOVA - pawsome pawmail;
3. KODY - cool comment;
4. TIGER - cool black cat & cool comment;
5. NEWMAN - cool comment;
6. MALLEE - cool comment;
7. MILO BLUE EYES - lovely red rose.

Mommy corralled me, Bail, Landy and Sampy in the master bedroom during the time the trick or treaters came. Merl stayed downstairs as he's one of the cats who hides on his own and doesn't run to the door. He told me he hid under the coffee table and living room couch, if the noises got too loud.

There was a great turnover of trick or treaters who came between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Mommy says there were some unusual and imaginative costumes that caught her eye: a jellyfish, a mushroom and a witches broom. Of course, others were: Tinkerbell, gothic girls, action heros, angels, dogs, etc.

Lastly, after Mommy let us out of the bedroom when the trick or treaters had gone, Bail and I took turns playing a new game. It was chase your tail in the bathtub. I watched him do it,then I tried it. What fun! Around and around I went trying to grab my tail. I finally stopped spinning and caught my tail and washed it! All this of course, took place in a dry bathtub!

Well, I got to run now and enjoy my day in the limelight!

I'm wondering about this day called "Halloween". Bail told me things that go bump in the night come out to scare everyone on this day! Whatever! Nothing scares me!!!

We'll see what happens. Mommy's supposed to greet these young human kids called "trick or treaters" when they come to our door. They are asking for candy treats.

Anyway, we'll see what kind of turn out we have. Probably not many as it's very cold out today and will get colder tonight. At least the nasty lady Sandy has left town!

Purrs & Breeps, and Happy Halloween!

Hurricane Sandy is approaching us. Mommy says she heard that between 6:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. will be the worst of it, and we expect to lose power during these hours or even sooner. Right now the wind is blowing and howling like crazy. Also, its been raining all day.

We pray for us and our neighbors and everyone who's in the path of Sandy. Stay safe everyone!

The Pepco president is speaking right now on Channel 5 and how they are going to have extra help to restore power. Assessment will be done some time tomorrow when the winds die down.

On a lighter note; I like water. I jumped into the shower with Mommy yesterday morning and have been playing in the kitchen sink yesterday and today! Of course, my water tank is a great water toy too!! Of course, I don't like hurricanes!!!

I got to go now.

Purrs, prayers and breeps,

I lost one of my baby fangs this weekend! The new fang is about 1/2 way grown in. I think I lost the baby fang while wrestling with Landy. No tooth fairy got to visit me because of this. Mommy told me she wanted to find the baby tooth. Unfortunately it's gone for good.

Anyway, the weather was okay today. Mommy had a couple windows open so we could enjoy watching the birds and squirrels.

Come Monday, there's supposed to be a nasty storm named Sandy coming to town. Because of this, everyone along the east coast are stocking up on stuff such as water, non-perishable food, batteries, of course, cat food, etc. I understand she's got another name such as "Frankenstorm"! That sounds really scary! Because of this storm, I'm not sure there will be any Halloween celebration on Wednesday.

I hope and pray that everyone in the path of Sandy are safe. Purrs and prayers to all and us included.

I love water! It's necessary to keep well hydrated and I stick firmly to that. Mommy thinks it's funny when she finds me hugging the large water dish upstairs. I also love to dunk my front paws in it. Also, I got curious about this waterfall thingy Mommy gets into every morning. One day I got really curious and jumped in to see what it was all about. Lucky for me, I jumped on the front side of the "shower curtain" so I didn't get nothing wet except for my feet. I jumped right out too and never did that again. I'll only stick my feet in the water dish.

Also, I got my rabies and distemper shots on Monday. The vet said I now weigh 4.5 lbs (up from my 3.8 lbs several weeks ago). Also, here's the big surprise! I'm a big girl now! The tips of my adult top fangs are coming in. So I'm older than what the adoption people had me down as. Mommy will change my age to 4 months old some time today. Also, she thinks I'm a black smoke as my tummy, britches, ruff and underarms has some gray mixed in. When I sit side by side with Merl you can tell that he's solid, coal black whereas I'm not.

Lastly, I extend belated concats to Sampy and Bail for their DDP's yesterday! Oh, by the way, Sampy is feeling great this morning! He ate and was singing and up and around like his normal self!

Got to go.

I'm having a great time exploring the big house. I especially like running up and down the stairs. I've learned some short cuts to go down these stairs even faster from Bail such as jumping down part of the way or cutting through the railing and jumping on the couch (this I taught myself).

This morning I gave Mommy a wake-up call before 6:00 a.m. just like Merl and Sampy does with purrs and licks.

I also learned about a few places none of us kitties are allowed: the cellar, outside, and any closet. Mommy says the cellar is off limits because of things called spiders live under the stairs; the outdoors is bad too because of many more dangers than spiders; and she doesn't want us in the closets because they're full of her clothes.

Anyway, I'm getting bigger and I'm not afraid of my brothers at all. They respect me, believe it or not.

Lastly, Mommy took more pics of me which have landed up on FB yesterday. Some time today, they're be posted on my Catster page. I hope you enjoy them.

To me, my brothers' tails are fun to play with, especially Landy's. He has a way of switching his tail back and forth and it looks like a long gray snake to me! All the more fun to spring on!!

As to the others, two of them are bushy like mine and are harder to play with as my claws get caught in all that floof. As to Merl's tail, he doesn't wag it as much as Landy so it's not as much fun to pounce on.

Lastly, Mommy thinks I got a lot of Maine Coon in me as I'm getting floofier by the minute. I'm getting bigger too and I have very large paws for a kitten my age.

Well, that's the short sweet note from me for today. Have a happy Friday, everycat!
