Hi my friends,
Well I am doing good so far, still on medication and Mom is making sure I get plenty of water. My Vet wanted Mom and Dad to give my Sub Q Fluids but I had different plans...NOT NO WAY!!!! NO SIREE!!!
I got the fluids 2 times the third time I fought, tried to bite my Mom so they said that is it, they will not put me through that. You see I am a very strong boy, Dad had to sit on me kinda, hold me down and Mom struggled to get the needle in and keep it in...just not worth the hassle...I WON YES I DID.
So Mom called my Vet and told her it is just way to difficult to do the fluids, unlike my big sweet sister she just sits there and let them give her the fluids and she is done. My Vet said to make sure I only eat the special can and make sure I get plenty of water, water in my food.
Now for our move, yes 2 weeks from today we will be on our way to our new home in Vail Arizona...in our new car with all the bells and whistles.
Mom and Dad where staying in our new house as you all know from the 6th to the 9th. By the way we were all good while they were gone. Mom came home and told us all about our new house and how much fun we will have exploring and finding new places to hide and sleep...in Moms room we have a big bay window looking out in our back yard...well dirt yard for now. Mom already took some of our things there for us when we arrive so we can enjoy our new window. She told us our house is so pretty and at night it is too quite for her she hears everything, so she will have to take a fan over to help her sleep. She heard Coyotes howling one night, saw a hawk flying over our house...she is so worried about all the wild animals that roam about. They even have wild Javelina's come into our community---desert wild pigs/hogs not sure which one...
Mom and Dad arranged for a painter to come in this week to paint the inside of the house and garage, had to have a water softener installed, they found out our water is from a well and the pressure is very low...then when they were outside looking outside the front and the cul de sac a man said hi to them, he is the owner of a wright iron place, Mom asked about him fixing the gate so Mia or one of us getting out of the back yard...hopefully we don't get out...he also offered to put in a metal device in the ground to keep out the rattle snakes, he will do that of course and he will also do the other side because it has holes in the brick for drainage. We are also having him put in a better patio screen door so I won't run through it or Milo won't either...he likes to jump on the door.
So now Mom and Dad a super busy getting things done for the movers, spend 7 hours in the garage pulling things from the rafters, putting out trash for the junk men to come get and for donated items. This weekend they will take both cars out to take their girls things to them, take paint, electronics to recycle places.
Lots to do so Mom isn't sure we will be back on before we move...we are sad we are missing so much even my DOP last weekend...THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR COMMENTS AND PICTURES FOR ME.
We love you all and we will be back on soon.
I know you'll have so much fun exploring your new home! Just be sure to stay inside cause it is definitely the wild, wild, west, and you don't want to be messing with those coyotes and snakes! I'm glad you're doing okay. Of course, a girl would sit still and get fluids like a princess. But, you're a cowboy now, and you don't have time to be messing with fluids! You've got cowboy work to do!
Glad you are doin' good! Gonna be an excitin' time soon!
Like Newman said Cowboy's are tough. Glad to hear Your feeling better!! Good luck to You and Your Family with the Move!! Stay safe!!
My little mini-me - you remind me so much of myself. Adorable and ornery at the same time! We send you many good wishes, and lots of fun. When you get a chance, pawmail our momma your new address so we can send you a suprise.
